“Rosco loved his time with Ronda and her family! She communicated quickly and sent pictures during his stay. She was willing to meet with me and Rosco before his stay which helped eased my nerves with boarding him for the first time. I could easily tell how much she loves dogs and having him there. She was super understanding with me extending his time there because of a work thing going late. When I picked him up, she had given him a bandana and a new toy (which he loves). I’ll definitely be using her services again to board him!”

“Super kind and very responsive! My pup went right to her at drop off and didn’t look back 🥹 she sent photos and updates. Kobe was so calm and chill when I picked him up.”

“They were amazing!! Super attentive, caring and kept us updated with pictures the whole time. Our pets were happy and well take care of. We’ll definitely book with them again. Highly recommend!! 🐾 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

About: I’m 36 years old and have had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had both small and large breed dogs, puppy to senior. I’m an animal lover. I will take very good care of your fur baby. I clean houses part time but still have plenty of time to care for your pets. I can board, walk, and do drop ins and doggy day care weekdays and weekends. My schedule is flexible. My yard is not fenced in but I can take your pet outside to play on leash or without leash if they don’t run off. I can watch in your home or mine . I have 3 kids who will love your fur baby just as much as you do.
“Our dog had the best time with Leslie and her dogs. She was so well taken care of had lots of outside play. I enjoyed seeing many wonderful pictures. I would definitely book again.”

“Kristi is phenomenal! She took my babies in last minute. She gave them their own huge room with a ginormous cat tree. They were extremely comfortable and had no stress whatsoever. She cared for them as I would, I have no doubt they were comfortable in their home away from home. I never worried about their food or their environment. I would most certainly recommend her and use her again a million times over. Thank you for everything Kristi!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my entire life, but currently I have a 7 year old golden retriever I treat like my child! I’ve always trained all of my dogs myself and participated in many safety training classes regarding training. I am currently in graduate school and unemployed, so mostly it’s just me and my golden at home most days, so I have plenty of spare time to help in your pet’s care! I am open to boarding and house sitting, but also happy to do drop-ins or just walks! I have a big fenced in yard and a sweet golden who loves making new friends to keep your pup company! I have plenty of room to crate your dog if needed.

“Kordell was gracious and patient. Smokey and I have never been away from each other. I had the separation anxiety. Smokey was just fine. Kordell gained his trust and the rest is history. Kordell sent pictures which reassured me Smokey aa was fine.. He was happy and energetic when I picked him up. I was almost jealous. Kordell”

“Ollie had a great time! He had other dogs to play with and a big back yard to run in. Amy sent pictures and videos of our sweet dog every day since this was our first time leaving him with anyone! He came home and immediately went to sleep- which means he played hard! Thanks Amy!”

About: I currently work with a local rescue and have worked with rescues for two years now due to my love for animals! I foster dogs of any age as well. I am currently a stay at home mom so I would be able to spend endless amounts of time with your babies!! I have two small children as well who are well versed with dogs and are used to being around them. I have one furry baby of my own and almost always have a foster dog in my home as well. Your pet is welcome to stay in our home the same as they do in yours, whether that’s crated at night, on their dog bed, etc.

“Did a great job with our crazy Milo! He watched Milo for the weekend while I was out of town and sent pictures and updates! He helped us out tremendously at the last minute by watching him for those few days! He also has a puppy that Milo seemed to thoroughly enjoy playing with!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
