About: **PET SITTING UPDATE - My husband will start traveling for work sometime this fall. His company has not given him travel dates yet. This will affect my ability to pet sit as I will need to be home when he is gone. Currently, I am only able to accept sitting requests within 1-2 weeks. If this doesn't work for your current situation, please reach out in the future for your fur baby needs.** I have a love for all things furry. Giving pets the love and attention that they need is my specialty. I understand that it can be scary for them when the parents aren't home. I work with them to make their day better and make them comfortable. I approach each pet with gentle love and understanding every time I see them and work at their pace. I volunteer for Stover Animal Rescue and have adopted most of my pets from there. I am a certified foster for the rescue. I have fostered puppies and participated in their adoption process - I have also foster failed once. I have cared for babies all the way up to seniors, both dogs and cats. While I do have fur babies of my own, I will not bring them around yours unless they have already been introduced. This is my full-time job so I'm available to take care of your fur baby whenever you need me. I would love to meet them and play! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with dogs. I worked at a wonderful dog shelter called KC Paws that taught me about dog handling, body language, and temperament. I was a shift lead so I have experience administering medications - liquid and pills. I am also a foster for T.A.R.A, another wonderful shelter, so I have TONS of experience with puppies as young as 5 weeks old. While I have not worked in a professional setting with cats, I have 3 of my own and I have fostered two sweet cats. I’m finishing up school with one class left so at the moment, Rover is my full time job! I’m available unless otherwise stated on my schedule for whatever care your pet needs - day and night. About: Hi, we are Scott and Jenn. We are experienced dog people, but we don't have a dog right now, so we are available to give your pup(s) our undivided attention. Dogs have been a central part of both our lives from growing up with dog "siblings" to fostering and adopting dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. Big and small, from high-energy young pups to sweet old seniors. After our Doberman passed in 2022, we made the difficult decision not to get another dog right away. Since Scott retired, we spend about six months a year traveling in our RV to visit family across the country. It has been a truly wonderful experience; however, life without dogs isn't right! Rover offers the perfect opportunity for us to enjoy spending time with dogs, while providing you peace of mind and your pets all the love and attention they deserve! My work is flexible and often portable, so I can be available just about any time. If I get your request before I go to bed, I can be at your home by 10am the next day. We treat dogs like family. I work in the Plaza and Partner Joel works from home and is available to care for pets all day. We live in downtown Kansas City MO. With my dog walks, I’ll typically take a 20 minute walk with 10 minutes allowed for enrichment/playtime. With any drop-ins, I’m happy to refill food/water and/or take care of any plants babies that you may have as I have a pretty good green thumb.

We have used Josh for pet sitting several times, and he is the BEST! He stays with our two dogs at our house while we are out of town for week-long trips. One of my dogs is my semi-retired diabetes alert service dog and now has special health needs. While I want the best for both of my dogs, Josh is the only person I trust to take care of my service dog while I am away. Josh always meets with me before a booking to get the details of my service dog's latest treatment plan. He goes above and beyond to make sure all medications are administered and a special feeding protocol is followed to assure my dog's health and safety. Josh goes above and beyond to make sure both of my pups get plenty of breaks outside, fresh water all day, and tons of snuggles and attention. He sends photos throughout our trips, which really puts my mind at ease when I see them so relaxed and content. Both of my dogs get so excited when they see Josh, I have zero concerns about leaving them with him. I'm pretty sure they don't miss me a bit when they are with Josh.
