My Chihuahua, who is notably sociable and friendly, enjoys interacting with other dogs, cats, and people alike. Resident Pets In addition to my Chihuahua, I share my home with two cats that I rescued from the local animal shelter. Both cats are well-adjusted and accustomed to living with dogs. She communicated with me each time she came for a visit and provided photos of whichever cats she saw (several usually stayed hidden, but she did see all 6 at one time or another). She also kept me appraised of a couple of instances where she had to make visits outside of the normal visit time frames, due to circumstances beyond her control and she also made sure to leave out extra food when the time between visits would be longer than normal. We would certainly love to have Elizabeth be our pet sitter again, if we have any need for a sitter in the future.”
About: Hello! my name is Vanessa. I have been a dog/pet sitter for over 15 years now. I have experience with animals ranging from dogs (especially), cats, small animals, and horses. I am also a certified groomer, and have been working as a groomer for 12 years now, so I have plenty of safety training as well for handling animals. I currently live on a farm with ability to care for dogs in my home, but I do prefer doing in home overnights or daycare at the client's house, due to my own dogs and horses. I am willing to provide most services including daily care, walking (or running), overnights, etc. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs and elderly dogs as well. I understand the responsibility that I undertake when I am trusted to take care of another person's pet, and I will always do the absolute most to make sure I am providing the best care possible. About: I’m taking a break from work to pass an exam. I now have all day availability and I adore dogs! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and now I have two of my own! I’ve helped out with Lab Rescue and I’m currently looking to help out with BARCS. I love dogs so much and I will treat them as part of my family! I have all day availability 8am through 10 pm. I’m very flexible and willing to work together to do what I can to make anything work! I will follow anything asked! If there are specific harnesses used, your dog is muzzle trained, etc.. About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs ever since I was able to walk. I enjoy spending time with my dog and taking her for walks and adventures. Currently work a part-time job that is very flexible with hours. I normally work mostly evenings and my morning/afternoons are normally opening would be able to work evenings also if needed. “Jaime is a wonderful, caring pet sitter! We really believe she is a cat whisperer! Not just because she is so attentive to our 3 rescue cats, but we were amazed our cat Fearless who suffers from PTSD actually came out (he usually hides from everyone) and she was able to pet him and give him pet treats! Even our skittish cat Rudy let her pet him. Our siamese Louie, who loves everybody, languished in her attention. The pictures we recieved from Jaimee while she did her drop ins and her texts and communications with us made us feel happy and relaxed that we left our boys in good hands and could enjoy our time away. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
