“Elena is amazing, she help us out last minute when my house guest unexpectedly brought her two dogs to our house. She took care of my senior dog, and gave her medication, a cat and 2 extra dogs and all were happy when we got home. She sent a photo update. Dependable and caring, will definitely be calling her again.”
5. Samanthia H.
“Found this lovely young woman on Facebook! She has watched our dog I believe 3 times now for our short weekend trips. She comes over every 4-6 hours and lets them out, plays with them and feeds the breakfast and dinner! She is very reliable.”
6. Jason C.
“Jason is great with our dog Maisey. She’s a 13 year old rescue dog and is sometimes skittish w people she doesn’t know well. But Jason takes such good care of her and it is evident that he loves to be with Maisey, and Maisey can definitely tell. She is so happy after he’s spent time with her and is always excited to see him. He takes her on good walks and knows what to do when she sees another dog (she is not good w other dogs) I am happy and comfortable leaving my pup w him. I think he takes better care of her than we do. 😀”
7. Anna G.
“Anna provided excellent care for our two cats, we received timely and informative updates and she was very clear in all communications. Our girls were perfectly happy when we returned and I found their litter box corner all tidy with not a crumb out of place…Probably even cleaner than we left it! We will absolutely use Anna’s services in the future and would recommend her to anyone in the area.”
8. Kelsey S.
“Kelsey was the perfect substitute kitty mama! The cats took to her right away and she asked all the right questions about food, water, treats, etc. She told me when she’d be coming every day and was totally faithful to that schedule. She sent cute photos and updates, and we felt total peace of mind knowing she was there. We will definitely book her again, and so should you!”
9. Jimmy S.
“Our dogs love Jimmy!”
10. Jonathan & Mary H.
“Wonderful is the best description. I have three dogs that they cared for at my home, while I was out of town. My oldest dog was treated with the needed TLC she required. The other two are very high energy and were given the attention they demand. I do not hesitate to recommend their services to others! My dogs have been complaining that I had to come home and stop their visits... :)”
11. Katarina S.
“Katarina was great. My dog Bleu refused to come in from the yard and she stayed over the time to make sure he came inside before leaving. She went above and beyond for my baby!”
12. Amanda S.
“Amanda was a Godsend. Maximus immediately loved her and she did a phenomenal job looking after him. Will definitely rebook!”

“Shelby is an animal-lover through and through. She grew up taking care of horses as well as family dogs, so she understands the responsibility and the level of care animals both need and deserve. You can rest assured your pet would be in good hands with Shelby!”
15. Margaret T.
“Margaret was wonderful! She visited us to meet Riley and learn her routine before we officially booked her. She kept us up-to-date on her visits and I could tell Riley took to her so easily. I felt so comfortable getting away and knowing our pup was happy and taken care of. I will definitely book Margaret again!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals my entire life living on horse farms including my current home. Dogs are an essential part of my life and caring for them is a joy for me. My own dog, Shamrock, a fourteen year old Jack Russell Terrier is the epitome of my undying care and affection. I raised her from a eight-week old puppy, training her, caring for her, teaching her how to play frisbee, even qualifying her as a service dog. Even at 14, she continues to inspire me with her energy, enthusiasm, and good behavior. All of the Rover guests get along with her (which is not a usual Jack Russell trait). She makes all the guests feel welcome and comfortable even tolerating other dogs sleeping on my bed with me. The Rover dogs I have welcomed in my home all appreciate the hospitality, the fact that the dog can enjoy everything the dog does at home (be it playing ball, running in the fenced in acre, sleeping on the bed, jumping up on the furniture, or if the dog is used to being crated, then feeling secure in its crate). I will always respect whatever the owner requests with respect to their own dogs routine. One of the Rover guest I have enjoyed over the years is a very active German Shorthair Pointer, named Wilson. Wilson requires crating, a very specific feeding schedule, and lots of exercise. Not a problem, I am happy to accommodate him. Spooky, a beloved Husky guest had a variety of eating issues and lots to say, I adored him and am saddened by his loss last year. The little dog pictured in my profile pick, Buddy was a favorite as well- spunky and cuddly. So, be it a huge needy Husky or a tiny Maltese, I enjoy and work with them all and their specific needs. I only take one dog at a time in order to devote the attention necessary and to keep the dogs safe, but if a family has two dogs who live together, I happily will take both. I just don't like to take two dogs from different households because I do not know how they will get along. Your dog will be welcomed, accommodated, and enjoyed while here, I can guarantee that and the reviews validate that. Thank you I work from home and enjoy having the dogs to take care of and provide me with great companionship during the day. I never leave the dogs for longer than a few hours. I live on a farm and have an acre fenced in yard, and a fenced in area in the front of the house for quick runs out in the middle of the night. I play frisbee with my dog and Rover guests and ball if that is the guest dog's preference.
