“Michaela, unfortunately, had to deal with a broken nail on one of our dogs that happened the night before our trip, and she handled it extremely well - she kept us informed and took the right precautions to let it heal. Our house was spotless and pups were relaxed and clearly cared for upon our arrival. Michaela’s communication was honestly perfect for us. She sent a picture and a message, daily, and it was plenty (sometimes it can be a bit too much from sitters). We’d definitely let Michaela care for our pups and home again :)”

About: I love dogs so much. Dogs always take interest in me out of people in groups. I have had 4 dogs throughout my life and loved loving them, taking them on walks, playing with them, and just being around them. I just graduated this past year and so I don’t have a job yet but I will hopefully this fall but for now, i’m free full time! While taking care of your pets I would always be around them. I’d make sure they are safe and eating when needed, going on walks and plenty of potty breaks!

About: I’ve taken care of numerous family members, friends, and coworkers pets since I was a child. I even rescued and nursed my first kitten to health after finding him in a dumpster. Hoping to share my love for animals in the area after moving here from California! I’m available full-time up as of now up until mid September when I begin my medical career. My schedule is super flexible and open this summer, other than making art your pet will have my full love and attention! I can always make the time for you and your pet just let me know what you need. 💖 In my home I have a high need toy-sized Australian shepherd that is friendly with other animals, well loved and cared for. I live in a small gated community directly across from our fenced-in private dog park, so I can assure you that your pets will be safe in my care. I am capable of following any instructions given for care in your own home such as walking, feeding, playing, administering medicine, you name it! I have a pet hammock installed in the back seat of my car that I can buckle your pets harness into for safe transport as well :+) My policy is to always keep dogs leashed when not in a secure, fenced environment. I simply don't trust a dog's recall unless they are my own and I've personally trained them. If I observe anything concerning with a pet, I'll reach out to the owner right away to ensure it's not a serious issue. I know how important it is to be fully informed about my own pets, so I can provide immediate instructions and avoid unpleasant surprises later on

“Overall, it was a good experience with Leah and using Rover. Both animals were taken care of and had no issues when we returned. Some minor things that we noticed: Dog food was spilled on the floor in the closet we keep the food bin in that wasn't cleaned up and not enough attention was paid to which supplement treat was being given as Mac got more probiotics and not any joint supplement at some point due to opening and feeding from the wrong bag.”

About: I have 3 dogs ranging from 1-10 1/2 years of age. We have done the puppy stage three times so I’m used to that and willing to help. I know how stressful it can be if you need to go out of town and still have a puppy at home that needs a little more attention, let me help you with this! I’m not afraid of any dogs I just need to meet them first before agreeing to a job just so that we know it’ll be a good fit. I’m currently working full time 12 hr days. So I will not schedule myself when I’m working unless of course this works for you. I’m just looking to see if I can help some people while they travel or need someone to come and check on their pets while they are away. I currently live on 2.5 acres so having dogs come to my house will not be a good fit. We have 3 dogs and sometimes sit for family and friends and their dogs come over and we closely watch them while outside so they don’t venture off into the woods. Right now I’m just looking to see if I can help with checking in on pets or walking them or even possibly house sitting if need be. I know how important routine and familiarity is important so I would like to meet the pets with the owners before agreeing to a job and this way we can make sure the pets are comfortable with me and also we can go over dos and don’ts with your pets.
