About: When I was 8 years old, I started an animal sitting business in my neighborhood. By the time I was 10, I had over 50 clients, with animals ranging from bird to dog, cat to guinea pig, wild outdoor foxes to indoor sugar gliders. I learned a lot in the ten years that I had these clients (by the time I graduated from high school, I had over 200!), but the number one thing I learned is that every animal is different. Even if they are the same breed, each animal has different motivations, different needs. I started working as a dog trainer, specifically for behavioral issues, in my early 20s. I have a special place in my heart for dogs that need some paw holding, structure, and reassurance. That's actually why I took my most recent dog, Poppy. No one else would have wanted her, and the pound that I pulled her from had already shaved her leg to euthanize her that very hour. It took me years to get her to be the amazing, confident, and loving dog she became. And it was well worth it! I've been out of the game for a while, as Poppy was a bit grumpy with strange dogs in her elder years, minus a few select clients. I have volunteered at Pets Alive in Middletown as well as some local rescues to offset my guilt of not fostering, but now that I have an empty house I am ready to open my home and heart once again! We have no children, no pets, a fenced in yard, and a safe space for any type of animal that needs care. Mammal, reptile, rodent- whatever you need, I can help!! Both adults currently working from home, so there is rarely a time that there is no one in the house. We have a great quiet neighborhood for walking, plus a fenced in yard for extra potty breaks and play time. I believe that every animal has their own needs, and every pet parent has their own rules. For instance, I am fine with dogs on the couch, but if you do not allow it I will not either. I will outline my usual day for the client, and we can add or subtract anything that’s needed for the client. I have puzzles, toys, lots of comfy blankets and dog beds. I’m happy to work on any training that they may need- and at the end of the day, I’m here to provide a service. I will always treat the pets in my home as my own, and will treat them with respect and love.

“Renee is so kind, so reliable and truly cares about your pet. I always get nervous leaving my pet, but Renee kept me updated the entire time with pictures and videos and Tucker had the best time with her family and of course Maple Bacon, his new best friend! I commend Renee and know Tucker and I will be seeing her soon. If you want someone to treat your pet like their own, Renee is your girl!”

“Akash was a great puppy sitter! Luna got lots of excersize and play time as well as some rest. He sent lots of cute picture and video updates. I will definitely book him again when I’m in the area!”

“She made my first Rover experience a great one! Brand new and visiting the area for the first time, I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable and took great care of Magnolia, who was happy and tired (hard to do with this high energy puppy) when I got back from my meeting. She will be our go to when we’re in the area. Thank you!”

“I needed a dog sitter at the last minute because of a schedule change at work. Kait to the rescue! Kait was super easy to communicate with and very responsive and attentive to our pups needs. She sent me updates throughout the day and took excellent care of our Cardi. We will absolutely request her services again. Thanks so much Kait!”

“Nayeli is so amazing! She treats all the dogs like they’re her own and my pup had such a great time hanging out with her dogs. She sends updates and photos throughout the day so I know he was having a good time and getting energy out. Highly recommend if you need a daycare for your furry buddies.”

“Our dogs had a great time at Courtney’s! They both felt very safe and happy to be there right from the start, and enjoyed playing in the huge sunny yard and also having inside space to relax. She is very experienced with dogs and is able to make them feel comfortable and safe. We got cute photos and updates, and they slept for hours after coming home from their big day of fun. Definitely recommend.”

“Brody had a great time meeting Alison and Jack. It was calm and clean when we got there. Brody was only there for a meet and greet (2.5 hrs). When I got back he was really happy to see me!”

“Frida had a wonderful day with Chaka and Paul. He took her to the dog park and they played with other dogs. Paul did really well with our rambunctious puppy. We won't hesitate to call on him again.”

“Excellent care and attentiveness. My dog was comfortable right away, during a rough week of meeting lots of new people and lots of change. But my dog loves Matthew’s son, which is the secret sauce 🤣”

“Janette lives in a beautiful spot right next to a rail trail so dogs have a nice, car-free place to walk in the woods. She has a lovely home and is well set up to care for dogs - she loves them and they love her!”

“Everything went perfectly well starting with communication, photo&text updates and ending with picking up our little Luna from Elisa. Luna was the only dog at the day care and Elisa followed Luna’s daily routine so thoroughly - she’s such a caring and gentle person, and so reliable too; much appreciated! We highly recommend her services! :)”

“I was really nervous I never left Angel with anyone before that I didn’t know or wasn’t family. I really recommend and appreciated the updates from Mario! Thank you again!”
