About: I grew up on a farm and have experience with farm animals, cats and dogs and birds. I've fostered and rehabbed many. Currently I only have my rescued "Adventure" toy poodle. I have taken care of some reptiles but will not call myself a pro. I've also raised/cared for all kinds of domesticated rodents. If your animal needs special treatment medical or has extra picky behaviors, I am willing and not afraid. I've trained most dogs in my life using hand signals and I'd love to learn your training methods. I maybe an old dog but I can learn new tricks. I am also available for house, farm and plant sitting. I am happily retired, so my time is my own. I can't think of a better way to spend it than with my pets and yours. Every home is different and pets have their specific needs. I'll listen to how you keep your pet safe and I'll follow your lead. You know best.

I have had pets throughout my life that I watched and cared for. I made sure they were well taken care of and always had everything they needed. I have also taken care of other friends and family pets and always had a positive experience.
“We could not recommend Rachel & Rover with more enthusiasm. Rachel was absolutely FABULOUS with our furry child, Poppins. It was a sense of release to be able to communicate with Rachel as our vacation progressed. Poppins went from hiding under the bed to comfortably sit & sleep w Rachel. She's sensitive & a little nervous. Rachel was able to build a relationship with her. Thank you for this valuable resource! Rachel is a gem-- our house was spotless, even the bed sheets & towels were laundered & changed!+ Thank you 😃”

“Destiny cat sat our cat while we were out of town for 10 days. She came over daily to feed our cat, play with her, and keep her company. She left our home spotless and even washed the cat bowl and swept up the cat litter that our cat kicks out of her litter box before our return. She also send us videos and pictures regularly so our minds were put to ease that our cat was taken care of back home. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing someone reliable and responsible to come over to petsit their fur baby.”

About: I have spent many years fostering puppies/ dogs with an organization called “mostly mutts.” I have always been an animal lover. I’m very attentive and protective of every animal I come in contact with! Given the opportunity to watch someone else’s furry, I would treat them as my own! I have 2 dogs of my own and a cat. I am very strong and can manage larger breeds of dogs. I understand that people’s pets are a part of the family and they deserve only the best care.
