“Dani was such a great caretaker of our three cats. She is reliable, very caring and detail oriented. She communicated well throughout the time I was gone and always sent me photos of all my cats. I can’t wait to use her again the next time I leave town. I was really nervous about using the app and having someone I didn’t know come watch my cats, and typically when I am gone I have a lot of anxiety leaving them. Dani came over before I left and we had a meet and greet and since then I felt so comfortable having her as my pet sitter. I didn’t stress one time while I was away because I knew she was taking great care of my cats ❤️”

“If there was an award to provide for the care that was provided, Cherie would be top winner! We would certainly book her again because of her timeliness, attention to detail and simply the care she gave our babies while away.”

“Meaghan has checked in on our cat Olive a few times now. I know when Meaghan is looking after our fur-baby that she is being well cared for. She sends updates with messages and pictures, which puts my mind at ease while I am away. I feel comfortable having her come into our home while we're away knowing that things will be exactly as they were when we left them. Thank you for your work, Meaghan!”

About: I worked as a kennel technician, veterinary assistant, and grew up in a home with small, medium, and large animals. some furry and some had scales! I am currently not working as I recently moved to this area and I am excited for an opportunity to take care of someone’s baby! I like to be able to adjust to the pets needs. I have a very flexible schedule so being able to attend to a pets strict schedule is very important to me!
“Destiny was wonderful with Lotus. She was prompt, communicative, and clearly attentive to his needs. She even stayed a little longer to give him extra time to go potty, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable having her in my home and would absolutely recommend her to others.”

About: Animals have been a constant part of my life — I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I’ve continued caring for them throughout my adult life. Because of that, I understand the little things that make each pet unique: the routines they rely on, the quirks that make them who they are, and the kind of attention that helps them feel safe and loved. When I’m walking your dog or stopping in for a visit, I bring that same lifelong experience and patience. I’m comfortable with everything from playful puppies who need structure to senior pets who move at a slower pace. I’m also attentive to shy or anxious pets and take the time to earn their trust. What sets me apart is how personally I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet. I treat your animals the way I treat my own — with consistency, kindness, and genuine care. My goal is simple: when you’re away, your pet still feels at home. As an educator and high school football coach, I’m used to balancing responsibilities, managing time well, and showing up consistently for the people who depend on me. That same reliability carries over into the way I care for pets. With summer approaching, my schedule becomes even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for regular walks, drop‑in visits, and consistent routines for your pets. Even during the school year, my afternoons, evenings, and weekends are open, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care naturally into my week. Because I’ve always had dogs and cats of my own — both growing up and now in my adult life — caring for animals is already part of my daily rhythm. Whether it’s early‑morning walks, midday check‑ins, or evening visits, I’m able to give each pet the attention, structure, and comfort they’re used to. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress‑free as possible. I know how much comfort pets get from being in their own space, so I make sure everything I do matches the rhythm they’re used to. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, walk times, medications, crate routines, and any little quirks that matter to your dog or cat. I take the time to learn their personality, whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and slow to warm up, or somewhere in between. I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and structure so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Because I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, both growing up and now as an adult, I’m comfortable handling all kinds of needs: puppy energy, senior care, anxious pets, or those who just want someone to sit nearby and keep them company. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for pets is something I truly love. I have over 10 years of experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve dog-sat many times for friends and families, including caring for multiple pets in one home for weeks at a time (3 dogs and 4 cats). I’m comfortable managing feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I also have experience with senior and special-needs pets. I once cared for an elderly German Shepherd whose back legs no longer worked. I helped with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and cleanup, and made sure she stayed comfortable and loved. This experience taught me patience, compassion, and how important gentle care is for older pets. I treat every pet like my own and always aim to give pet parents peace of mind through reliable, attentive care. I work part-time at a restaurant, so my schedule is very flexible. On days I am not working, I am available to stay with pets all day and provide overnight care. On the days that I do work, my shifts are typically about 5 hours long, which still allows me time to care for pets before and after work. If I am scheduled for a double shift, I have a 1-hour break in between, which I can use to check in on pets, walk them, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. I always prioritize making sure pets are not left alone for long periods and maintain a consistent care routine. When caring for pets, my top priority is creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and house rules to ensure consistency for the pet. I always make sure doors and gates are secure, keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, and maintain a clean environment including food areas and litter boxes. I take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace, especially those who may be shy or anxious. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and provide dependable, attentive care so owners can feel completely at ease while they’re away.

About: I worked in veterinary clinics for roughly 13 years. I would love to help care for your pet. I believe the health and safety of your pet is main priority. I am currently sitting full time and would have plenty of time for your pups and kitties. With my professional experience I feel I am a good fit for any situation. In this line of work safety is my number one priority but equally as important is the happiness of your bestie while you are enjoying your time away.
About: I have a wealth of experience working with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I have encountered various breeds, temperaments, and specific care requirements, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of their needs. I believe in tailoring my care to meet the individual needs of each pet. I take the time to get to know the animals in my care, understanding their personalities, preferences, and any specific instructions provided by their owners. This personalized approach ensures that each pet feels comfortable, loved, and well-cared for during my time with them. I am meticulous and detail-oriented in my care. I pay close attention to every aspect of a pet's well-being, including their physical health, emotional state, and overall comfort. I am diligent in maintaining their routines, administering medications accurately, and providing the necessary exercise and mental stimulation for their specific breed and age. I recently had my dog Gracie pass away who was 10 years old and she would want me to love others dogs I am taking care of like I loved her. I understand the importance of trust between pet owners and sitters. I am committed to being dependable and reliable in my services. Perhaps most importantly, my passion for animals is what truly sets me apart. It is not just a job for me, but a genuine love and dedication to the well-being of pets. I understand that pets may need care at various times of the day or week, so I maintain flexibility in my schedule to accommodate their needs. This includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and even holidays. I aim to ensure that pets receive continuous care and attention without disrupting their routines. I allocate specific times each day for feeding pets and ensuring they have access to fresh water. I follow their feeding schedules as instructed by their owners to maintain consistency. Communication with pet owners is essential, especially when caring for their pets in their absence. I make it a point to provide regular updates to the owners, sharing photos, videos, and written reports on their pet's activities, behavior, and overall well-being. This allows owners to stay connected and reassured about their pet's care. If any pets require medication, I strictly adhere to the prescribed schedule and administer it as directed. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to maintain a sense of familiarity and routine for them. I follow their established feeding, exercise, and care routines as closely as possible. This helps reduce stress and anxiety, as they are in a comfortable and familiar environment. While caring for pets in their home, I maintain open and regular communication with the owners. I provide updates on their pet's activities, well-being, and any concerns that may arise. Clear and consistent communication helps pet owners stay informed and reassured while they are away. In my home, I ensure a secure and pet-friendly environment. I have designated areas or rooms where pets can relax, play, and sleep comfortably. I remove any potential hazards and provide a cozy bed, toys, and other amenities to make them feel at home.

About: I’ve grew up around dogs and it was always my job as a kid to feed and water, play, exercise, and do their potty breaks! I’m currently working part time cleaning houses, so I’m available most days! Just contact me for scheduling and I would love to fit you in! I keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable in their own home—following all instructions, making sure they have water, and giving lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away.
“This was our first time having a dogsitter versus boarding our dogs. Crystal was awesome - she sent us pics and our dogs love her. I am the type of pet owner that HATES leaving our dogs to travel, but I really felt good that they stayed in their own home and Crystal was dropping in on them throughout the day. It seemed like they didn't even miss us! Am already booking her for our next vacation!”
“Aylissa was great with my dog and cat. I hardly ever leave my dog behind while on vacation and she made sure he was comfortable, walked, and even let me know when his tricky paw was acting up so she could give him his pain medicine. She also kept my cats litter box cleaned and brushed her! I work in the animal industry myself and knew right when I first met her that she would be the right fit for my animals.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Aragon. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
