“Such a terrific experience with Tricie caring for our dogs! This was our first experience using Rover, and we have been extremely impressed and pleased. Tricie cared for and loved on our babies and made us feel comfortable leaving them. Especially enjoyed the comments and photographs.”

About: If you’re looking for two dog obsessed floof enthusiasts🐶🐶🐾🐾🤩🤩 who provide full-time care and can't get enough of spoiling your fur children...look no further, you’ve come to the right place! We do this because we LOVE to do it, not because we have to❤️. We are Tom & Nikki and welcome to our Rover profile😄 - 🐶ABOUT US🐶 Hi, I’m Tom😊. I’ve been an animal and dog lover since I was a kid! When Nikki and I got married, I became a proud fur dad to her two beloved elderly English Bulldog children. Caring for their special needs and medications taught me so much about senior dog care. Sadly, when we had to say goodbye to both of them😢, our home felt empty without the tippy tap sounds of their toebeans running around everywhere😔. We truly missed the joy and companionship dogs bring, which is why we decided to open up our hearts and home to provide exceptional love and superior care to the wonderful dogs of our community. We consider your dogs not just pets, but cherished family members of our own family🐶❤️ - Hi, I’m Nikki😄. I’ve had a lifelong dog obsession for as long as I can remember🐶😍. I’m definitely “that" dog person who spots a furry floof in the distance and immediately drops everything to run over to squish it with love. It’s impossible for me *not* to get attached to every dog in our care😆. As a matter of fact, Tom always jokes that I need therapy because I never want to let them go. I’d happily keep spoiling each one forever! Of course, he also reminds me that they do have families they eventually need to go back to🤣. I’ve owned and loved three English Bulldogs, a breed known for being incredibly high maintenance in every way. Because of that experience, I’ve developed a keen eye for noticing even the smallest changes in a dog’s behavior, health, or mood. By default, every dog in our care is treated like our own❤️, and we don’t know any other way to treat these precious babies Tom and I consider angels on earth😇🥰 - 🐶SIZES WE CURRENTLY ACCEPT🐶 Nub🤏🏼 (teacup/toy): 0-10 lbs Floof☁️: 11-20 lbs Chonkmuffin🐽: 21-30 lbs Chonk🦛: 31-40 lbs Super Chonk🐽🐽: 41-100 lbs Floofasaurus🦖: 101+ lbs - 🐶PLEASE NOTE🐶: Because safety is our number one priority for all dogs under our care, we have a zero aggression policy. Meaning that if your dog currently has (or has any history of) signs of aggression towards other dogs and/or humans, unfortunately we cannot accommodate them here in our home. We do not offer segregated boarding. For the safety of your dog and the other dogs here, your best option may be a sitter who watches one dog at a time. In the event your dog were to show aggression during their stay and compromise the safety of the other dogs here, please have an emergency contact where you can arrange to pick up your dog - 🐶MEET & GREETS🐶 Meet and Greets will take place in our front yard and be limited to 15 minutes. We do not give a house tour due to liability reasons, however there is a collection of pictures on our profile that you can use for visual reference :) 🐶OUR CURRENT SCHEDULE🐶 Nikki is home full-time for doggy daycare and boarders. Tom is at work two days a week and home full-time the rest of the days for daycare and boarders when he is not doing drop-in visits and dog walking. On Sundays, dogs will be crated between 9:30-noon when we’re at church - 🐶SIZES WE CURRENTLY ACCEPT🐶 Nub🤏🏼 (teacup/toy): 0-10 lbs Floof☁️: 11-20 lbs Chonkmuffin🐽: 21-30 lbs Chonk🦛: 31-40 lbs Super Chonk🐽🐽: 41-100 lbs Floofasaurus🦖: 101+ lbs Our cozy home is an ocean of coziness with fluffy dog beds, blankies, and pillows in every area for your dog to lounge and relax in. We have a nice air conditioner that cranks in the summer and a nice heater that keeps the home nice and toasty in the winter, and we have a securely fenced-in yard where your fur baby can enjoy sunbathing, outdoor playtime, leisurely walks, and the infamous sniffing and exploring doggies love to do. Because safety is our number one top priority, they are never left unsupervised both indoors and outdoors. Potty trained dogs are allowed on most furniture (we regularly deep clean every part of our home, especially all the furniture upholstery and rugs). We want them to feel right at home the moment they arrive in our driveway! - 🐶DROP-OFF/PICK-UP🐶 When you arrive here for drop-off's and pick-up's (and Meet & Greets), please have your dog on a leash. We will unleash them once they're safely inside our securely fenced-in yard. - 🐶DURING YOUR PUP'S STAY🐶 When your dog first arrives, we closely observe and monitor their interactions with other dogs (because we typically have multiple dogs here with us at any given time) to be aware of any dynamics that require attention. If any concerns arise, we promptly separate dogs into separate areas (we have multiple gates secured to each doorway inside our home) to ensure their well-being and comfort. - 🐶FEEDING🐶 At mealtime, your dog will enjoy their food in a designated and separated area, ensuring they can savor their meal without interruptions from other dogs. This practice not only prevents food-related aggression but also reduces the likelihood of digestive problems that may occur when consuming unfamiliar dog food. - 🐶SLEEPING🐶 For the safety of all the dogs staying with us, for bedtime they all sleep in crates with a clean and cozy bed and blankie that we will provide. We have a wide variety of crate sizes available, so no need to lug yours over here. We’ve got you covered! All you need to bring is their food and their collar/harness.

“Christi did a very good job. I also like the fact that she lives in the area. Niko seemed to really like her and my home was immaculate when I came back Niko was very happy to see me, but it was good to know someone was taking good care of him. I will use Christi again.”

“Kaitlyn has been the best for us. She always sends me goofy pictures of my boy, and he is always so excited to have her over. She is easy to communicate with, and does an excellent job taking care of my young, crazy lab.”

About: I am an experienced dog owner and sitter. I grew up in a family that always had pets, including cats and dogs, and have owned multiple dogs since living on my own. Currently, I have one small chiweenie and regular dogsit dogs including Cocker Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, and Great Pyrenees. Shy or nervous rescue pets are no problem! I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. Pets with medical issues are welcome as I have experience taking care of dogs and cats with a variety of issues who’ve needed everything from shots throughout the day or diaper changes or to receive mobility assistance. I also have experience caring for chickens if you need someone to care for your chicks. I work full-time from 8 AM-5 PM. I have a long lunch, so I can stop by to take care of any needs during the day. Drop off/pickup prior to or after work is preferred, except on the weekends when I’m free. If you really need a specific drop off or pickup time, please let me know early so I can try to accommodate that. I am up early every morning to give pets plenty of time to eat and play before leaving. When I get home, the first thing I do is let pets out to potty and to play. Throughout the evening, there is plenty of time for walks and playtime before bed. . First and foremost, I will strive to match or mimic the care and routine you give your pets at home. With a fenced in yard, your pet will have a safe place to potty and play. There are also many parks nearby to take your pet on walks or provide them with socialization. Pets are able to climb on furniture, sleep on my bed, and have mostly free rein of the house — my home is their home while we’re here. However, I have a pet gate I can put up and experience crating pets (as well as crate training dogs) for any pet who can’t be left free to roam.

“Megan took EXCELLENT care of our dogs while we were gone. She also went above and beyond by playing fetch and spending some quality time when all she had to do was let them out in the morning. I was also so happy to get pictures every visit that were so cute and we definitely plan on getting framed.”

About: @ahartpetsitting on insta!! I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. Hermit crabs, guinea pigs, lizards, fish, chickens, you name it! I just love every animal, and I still believe that they can speak, just not when we’re in the room. I work professionally with dogs every single day as a manager of a dog care facility. I’m known for liking the “bad dogs” at work along with special needs and older pets as well (I love powdered sugar faces)! I treat each animal as my own, and I would do the same with yours! I work full time as a manager at a doggy daycare, I would be able to get you a registration forms and take your pup to work with me if you’d like! My job is very flexible so I can also come home at any point and let your pup out instead of bringing them with me. I am also open to not working during the time I care for your pet. Message me and let’s talk! If you don’t have a dog, I am more than happy to talk with you and figure out if I need to come home for breaks or not work! I care for each pet exactly how owners ask me too, just with lots of extra love! I can chill if that’s what your pet likes to do, or I can adventure. I love being outside in nature as well as cozying up on the couch :)
About: I've got multiple years of experience handling a highly anxious dog that can be dog selective during high stress situations. I was the one primarily training my family's two dogs, as well as the one taking them out on as many walks as I was able. I have multiple years worth of experience with senior dogs that had arthritis and who needed to have their food prepped especially for easier eating. I'm currently a student at the University of Georgia and currently looking into part time summer positions, however my schedule is very flexible with daily check-ins and overnight stays during both the week and weekend are very doable. During check-ins, outside of ensuring food and water are available, I would make sure to spend time playing and hanging out with any dog and if I have time to take them on a walk I will. For overnights, I would do the same thing with the only difference being the amount of time I'd be able to spend with the dog.
About: Hello! My name is Gina and I have years of experience with dog walking, house sitting, and boarding pets. I am very responsible, friendly, and believe open communication is the ticket. I do not smoke, and have a clean record. I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible and I am available to spend more time with your fur babies!
About: I have several years of experience with both dogs and cats. The largest dog I've handled was 120 lbs. I'm down to cuddle or go on a walk, whatever your pet needs. I am a college student so I am flexible daily and can come by your house when needed. I am free on weekends and most weeknights. I would love if you can give me specifics on your pet's routine and any behavior I should know about. I have some experience with oral medication if your pet ever needs it.
About: I’ve always been that person who immediately notices the dog before the humans (respectfully 😂). I genuinely love animals and take caring for them seriously. Whether your pet is full of zoomies, prefers a slow stroll, or just wants someone to sit nearby while they judge me from across the room (looking at you, cats), I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m reliable, patient, detail-oriented, and I’ll stick to your pet’s routine because I know consistency matters. Expect lots of updates, cute pictures, and the occasional message telling you your dog made a new best friend (me). I’m currently a PhD student, so my schedule has flexibility throughout the week. Pet care is honestly one of my favorite ways to step away from my computer, get outside, and spend time with some furry company. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive when I say I will, and make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. If your pet is in my care, they’re my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep a close eye on their behavior, and make sure they stay safe and comfortable. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel nerve-racking, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can actually enjoy your time away instead of wondering how your fur baby is doing.
“Shelby is awesome! She came through without a hitch when we found ourselves in a bind with our 4 cats as we were planning to go on vacation. She was close by and super sweet and even sent pictures. We would love to have her come take care of all our babies in the future.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
