“Ryne has been amazing since my relocation to the area. He is dependable, gives me great peace of mind while at work, and my dog adores him.”

About: I have always been able to communicate and interact with animals much easier than i have with people, it comes more naturally to me. The first thing that my closest friends and family say when introducing me to anyone, especially if they have pets, is that i’m great with animals. it fits in perfectly, i work at part time job at a clothing store but my shifts are only typically four hours, and i get off work anytime between 4-6 so right around dinner time. i have an open yard that my dog can roam freely whenever we let her out, she tends to stay within 10 yards of our front doorstep so we do not keep her on a leash. however, should i be taking care of a dog and it does need to be on a leash when being let out, that is no problem at all.

“Mandy is phenomenal! She truly cares for your pet and is flexible with scheduling. I worked from home for years and transitioned to an in office job. I was very nervous about my 15 year old pup but Mandy has made this transition easy. It's a blessing to have her! I highly recommend Mandy for your fur babies.”

About: I've been walking neighbors dogs since I was a small kid, volunteered at local animal shelters (walked their dogs), and also have cared for a senior dog (16 year-old poodle) before. I've learned to become patient with pets, especially when cleaning up accidents! I'm a college student at UTK, but I have open time in the mornings, afternoon, and night every weekday. On weekends, I have meetings in the afternoons, but I can still care for pets in the morning and night. I'm confident in my cleanliness, care to detail, and love for pets. I'll care for pets with my whole heart, love them as I would love my own pets, and ensure the pets have a nice experience with me.

“Robert was amazing! He helped me at the last minute with my two dogs. He was extremely good with my boys, and they're not easy to deal with. I highly recommend Robert!!”

About: I have had animals in my home my entire life! I absolutely love animals and my dream is to own an animal rescue. I have 2 cats of my own and they are spoiled beyond measure. I’m very well experienced with large dogs and cats. I do work a full time job Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00. I am available during my lunch break between 12:00-1:00 daily and every evening. My weekends tend to be pretty busy but during times when I’m free, I can make myself available as needed. Unfortunately, my dog does not do well with other dogs so overnight boarding in my home isn’t an option. However, I’m happy to house sit in your home if needed. I am very attentive to animals and a clean freak so you will never have to worry about coming home to a mess.

About: I have had animals my entire life, I currently have 3 dogs and a cat of my own. I have small and extra large dogs so I know the care that each size group requires. All of my pet owning friends come to me for medical and training advice. I am also always the first person they come to when they need someone to take care of their beloved pets. I can follow strict regimens regarding food, brushing, bathing, medicine etc. My availability is for weekends only, as I do have a full time position as a Teacher Assistant. I get off work at 12:30 pm every Friday and have every Saturday and Sunday off. My partner works for the Women’s Basketball team at the University of Tennessee and I often take care of their dogs for trips. I know I can easily fit in a few more fur babies to make someone else’s life easier! I have a reliable vehicle to take me to and from your house, as well as a love for exercise for walking your dogs! You and your animals experience with a walker/sitter is my top priority. I understand the fear of being unable to find someone trustworthy to watch your pets, having some of my own. I have a large fenced in yard and still make time to take all 3 dogs on walks to give them the exercise and stimulation they need to be happy.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life—dogs, cats, and everything in between—so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I currently have a 4-year-old chocolate lab named Stokely Mae, and she's truly my best friend. I’ve raised her since she was just 7 weeks old and trained her every step of the way—from basic commands to leash manners and socializing with other animals. Every day, I manage a household with four large dogs (three Labs and one Husky), each with their own personalities and needs. I handle their feeding schedules (three times a day), including different portions and diets, with consistency and care. Whether it's high-energy playtime, calm walks, or gentle attention for older dogs, I adapt to meet each pet’s unique needs. I treat every animal like family and always aim to create a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and happy. I'm a teacher, so my summer schedule is wide open—perfect for giving your pets the attention they deserve! During the school year, I’m available for weekend care and occasional evenings. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and I love being able to spend my free time with animals. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or drop-in visits, I can be flexible and reliable when you need a helping hand. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and needs—whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, managing medications, or providing a calm, secure environment. I take the time to earn each pet’s trust with patience, gentle handling, and lots of positive reinforcement. In your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I make sure your pet feels safe and loved while keeping their surroundings tidy and stress-free. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos, so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.

“Thank you, Jordan, for taking great care of Kojack!”

I currently work full time and am a dog mama of 2(11 years old and 6 years old) I have free time on evenings and weekends to care for your pals. About: (PSA - I’m getting married! 😅 In December, I’ll be closing my account here to focus on being a wife and pursuing my writing/marketing career. If you already have my number and don’t mind a married couple watching your pets, we will be more than happy to serve you if our schedule allows! The below agreement will still apply, of course; there’s just a second set of hands. 🥰) Home/Pet Owner Satisfaction Agreement: - My personal motto is "Leave it better than you found it." - Your home will be taken care as if it was my own. - I will do light cleaning and even landscaping if needed, so your home stays well kept. - Your pets will receive the attention they deserve. - I will do my absolute best to make sure their daily routine stays the same as if you were home. - I will send you all the pictures and updates, so you can have peace of mind that your pets are happy, safe, and well taken care of. - If you ask me to do something, it will get done. - When you return home, you'll be able to rest immediately because your home will be clean and your pets happy (though definitely excited to see you again!). I always don't trust people easily, and I usually rely on myself a lot to get things done. So it'd be scary for me to have a stranger taking care of my home and pets. I'd worry constantly over my furry family. That's why I try to immediately put you at ease during our initial conversation and respect your home and pet(s). I grew up with pets (hence the 20 years of experience), so I am definitely an animal lover. I've also house/pet sit here on Rover and by word-of-mouth referrals for two years now and already have 30 reviews of pleased home and pet owners. After reading the reviews on my profile and browsing the photo gallery (Get ready for cuteness overload and not from me!), here's how you can work with me: 1. Send me a message. 2. In that message, tell me about your pets, their needs, and what dates you'll be gone. 3. We'll adjust the pricing if needed. 4. Before finalizing the booking, I will meet you and your pet(s) in your home for you to walk me through the daily routine and see if we're a good fit. 5. If both parties agree, we confirm the booking. It's that easy! Thank you so much in advance for trusting me with your home and pet(s)! In return, I will strive to take the best care of your home and pet(s). So that you won't loose any sleep worrying if they're okay or not. That way, you can actually enjoy your vacation or fully focus on business and/or family while you're gone. I work remotely full time as a writer, freelance marketer, and conscious marketing coach, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m completely available any day for whatever you need and will be able to give your home and pet(s) the attention they deserve. I will follow whatever instructions you give to a t. As a creative person, my brain can be scattered, but having instructions in a text or list help a ton. That way, you have utmost peace of mind that your home and pet(s) are receiving the best care!

About: My first ever job in high school was working for a doggy daycare, training, and grooming facility. This is where my love for animals of every kind bloomed, and i personally have a horse, two dogs, and a cat at my home away from college that I miss very much. At my knoxville home I adore taking my friend's dogs hiking and to the dog park to fulfill that itch of spending time with furry friends. I am a student doing rover part time during the summer and I volunteer at a hospital in town on Monday every week for two hours and an animal shelter with kitties for two hours every Thursday evening. I am very meticulous about maintaining the perfect care for my pets and yours. I understand how important these members of the family are, and I do very well when given a specific list. My love for the outdoors and hiking specifically complement the energetic pups, but I am just as happy to relax at home to study or read.

About: I have been around animals my entire life! There was never a time I didn’t have a let of some kind. I was always helping neighbors and family members with their animals. I have worked at dog training facilities where we also had doggy daycare. I’ve worked many years at vet offices as well. Therefore my experience with pets with medical needs gives me the knowledge of taking care of your fur baby who may need a little extra attention. A little bit about my day to day schedule so you have a heads up: Mondays I am off work, T-Th 8-5 and Fridays 7:30-3. My husband gets home before me most days so sometimes he is able to help out with potty breaks therefore it is very important that your pet be ok with men. I have a large unfenced yard where your babies can enjoy running while attached to a long leash. They will get to roam around in the home as long as they are potty trained and dog friendly, as I have a dog that loves to meet new friends. I have a room that is a dedicated dog room where crates are kept for the dogs to be safely while I am away. YOUR PET MUST BE CRATE TRAINED! Please bring a crate for each dog you are boarding with me unless prior arrangements have been made!

About: I have had dogs all of my life. I have had small Jack Russells to large German Shepards, hunting breeds, purebreds and pound puppies. I have helped raise Brittany puppies and cared for senior dogs. Dogs always seem to attach themselves to me; partly because I am always loving on them and also because I am calm around them. I work from home so am available to take multiple walks throughout the day and play with them if they are high energy dogs. I am extremely flexible with your dogs needs or if there are special requests. Please don’t hesitate to ask. I will do my best to give your pet the best experience away from home and to treat them like my own. I work from home but when I am caring for your pet I make them the priority. I love getting to know them and their personalities. I don’t have a fenced yard so dogs are kept on a leash unless they are trained to follow commands. I try to give them the best experience in outdoor play within safe guidelines. When in a clients home I will typically try to keep your dog active with play or outdoor activities. They will also get lots of belly rubs and butt scratches. I do try to keep everything else consistent with their routine such as feedings and potty breaks. I try to never be gone more than a few hours at a time especially when getting to know your dog.

About: I've taken care of many different dogs, from chihuahuas, Pyrenees, weenie dogs, all the way to cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. I love animals, and I am willing to learn more about different breeds too! As of right now I am not working since I am a stay at home mom, so she is my working buddy (six months will not let play with the pets) so I am free pretty much anytime besides Sunday morning; because I like going to church. I can set up whatever routine you choose at your home, whether that is crating or letting them sleep out the couch, and so forth. I cannot do sitting at my house since I have large dogs that are protective.
