âKatia was very helpful. Her home was clean and her dogs and kitten seemed to do well with Connor. Connor chewed his leash in two and Katia went and bought another and said we did not need to pay her back for the cost. Of course we did though. We would recommend Katia.â

âOur 4 month old puppy stayed at their house while we were abroad - canât thank Gabriel enough for taking such great care of our pug puppy! Highly recommend.â

âAlexis was great! From picking him up to dropping him off, and everything in between, our dog was happy and we had great peace of mind. She sent us pictures throughout our vacation with updates on our sweet guy.â

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. I am willing to keep special needs pets and am able to give medication. I am open to discussing any special requirements your pet might have. I live at home with my mom and this is my only job. I am free to give your pet all the love and attention they need. I have a lead in our yard for potty time and live near a dog park for fun and exercise. We will take walks, having brushing time to bond, and have lots of play time. I do have a dog kennel available inside and will have food and water bowls for your pup. We do have cats, so please make sure your dog is cat friendly.
âSuper nice guy. Great communication. Easy-going and friendly. Also, super nice that Brendan has a pup of his own for my 2-year-old Bernese to pal around with. Highly recommend.â

âRiley (the dog) seemed to be happy in pictures that Bethany took. Bethany was easy to deal with and had good communication. Very satisfied with the overall experience. I would use Bethany again.â

âKylie was an amazing sitter. My cats almost didnât want to leave! She sent pictures with updates which kept my mind at ease. Will definitely be using her again when visiting family :)â

âSteve took excellent care of Max! We haven't had the best of experiences with our dog being cared for while we are away. I am so glad we found Steve on here. He went the extra mile to help us feel at ease and we appreciated the updates!â

âKyungyeon was AMAZING with our depressed doggie! He always mopes and eats very little when we are away, but Kyungyeon would not give up until he felt comfortable and happy in her home! We got so many pictures and updates and I am so grateful for the amazing care she took of our Obi!â

âMallory was absolutely amazing with Harvey & Jackđ¤ She kept me updated throughout their stay, made them feel comfortable, & treated them like her own! Harvey immediately bonded with her (which says a lot because heâs very shy), & Jack came home happy, tired, & well cared for. She was attentive, communicative, & clearly loves animals. I would absolutely trust her with my boys again & highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, & patient with dogs of all personalities & sizes!â

âCrystal went above and beyond for our Teddy! She was very welcoming and we loved getting all the updates and pictures. We highly recommend her caring for any dog!!â

âWeâre so grateful for Julie! It can be really difficult to find willing and compassionate care for longer trips. Julie was very responsive and flexible with changes we had to make. She went above and beyond for George and took such good care of him. We had no concerns or worries while we were away and it was such a gift to our family. I highly recommend Julie to anyone and weâre excited to have her care for George in the future!â

âKaren is very kind. I feel very comfortable leaving my small dog with her. I would definitely use her again. Kallie is a lap dog and I have not left her in over a year and a half because of Covid. Karen let Kallie sit in her lap and gave her the love and attention that she craves.â

âJosh has watched our dogs a few times and has done a great job. They adore him and it feels so good to leave them with someone we trust. They get good exercise and we love getting pictures of them!â

âEllie is a fantastic dog sitter. She watched our Beagle for 4 days and he was well cared for. He takes several medications and she was experienced with older dogs on meds. I could relax on vacation knowing he was in good hands.â

âYelena is set up perfectly for dogs to stay with her and her two pups. And she sent more photos and updates than any sitter weâve ever had. It is so comforting to see and hear about how your dog is doing. Your dog will be in good hands with Yelena!â

âAmy did an excellent job caring for our dog, Penny. Penny loved playing and snuggling with Amy and her son. We received great communication and pictures throughout the time Penny was with Amy. We would definitely recommend Amy and will use her in the future.â

Samantha and James are amazing people aside from caring for George :) They went above and beyond caring of our pup while we were out of town. Samantha was proactive with communication and pics - putting our minds at ease that George was doing well and thriving. We are so incredibly grateful they folded George into their loving home at the last minute with confidence and joy. We would absolutely recommend Samantha and James to any one!

By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
