Hi, I’m Alexis! I have a lot of animal experience from previously working in animal shelters and boarding facilities to doing pet caregiving in mine and other homes. I have knowledge of how to handle many different situations that could arise while sitting or walking your fur baby. I have experience with all sizes and breeds, from your littles to your giants, and I have no breed preference. I continually stay updated on animal handling by going to training with my own dogs, volunteering at shelters/animal organizations, and attending classes on animal behaviors, etc.

Alexis was great! From picking him up to dropping him off, and everything in between, our dog was happy and we had great peace of mind. She sent us pictures throughout our vacation with updates on our sweet guy.
Alexis was fantastic with Bentley! He can be anxious when away from home, but he always seemed relaxed and happy in the daily updates I would get. He even let Alexis trim his nails, which he seldom does with anyone!

Programa
I can provide baths, nail trims, feeding, medication administration, walks, playtime, and anything else your fur baby may need. I currently work a full-time office job, but I love being able to care for pets on the side with my husband. We have a fenced-in yard where most playtime will happen during nice weather, along with plenty of indoor options for enrichment and fun. We also have 3 dogs and 6 cats of our own. Boarding animals will not physically interact with our dogs or other boarding dogs unless approved beforehand. All animals must also be up to date on vaccinations from their vet. Since our schedules can vary, we do prefer dogs to be crate trained for times we are not home.

I can accommodate special needs as long as I have clear instructions and details ahead of time. My goal is to make sure your fur baby feels safe, loved, and cared for while in our home!

Fun activities can include rope toys, balls, puzzle bowls, KONGs, skill play, and more! On walks, I like to take different paths to keep scents and surroundings interesting, and if the location allows, I can also take dogs for a swim.
