About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, and birds. I treat them with respect all the same. I will always treat with respect to them. It can benefit to my day to day life. I left the bay area where my folks have their dogs and I can't see them right now. So, it would be nice to spend time with dogs again. I have a wonderful home where I have 3 cats that are spoiled rotten. If I had a dog, they'd be spoiled too. The dog will be leashed the entire time I'm with them. Because I believe in safety above all else. Like when I'm going for a walk, if I see a situation, I'll take my dog across the street. No interaction whatsoever. Because I want to avoid confrontation.

“Amanda is great for all your pet care needs! Very sweet with my cat while I was away and made sure he was well fed and had plenty of cuddle time:)”

About: Your pets have my full attention when they’re in my care. I’ve raised and cared for animals my entire life—from dogs and cats to horses and chickens—and I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. In high school, I apprenticed as a vet tech, which gave me hands-on experience with basic medical care, handling anxious pets, and recognizing when something’s wrong. I'm currently raising three dogs, including a working-line German Shepherd trained in service tasks and a high-energy husky/malinois/wolf mix, so I’m no stranger to active, smart pups who need structure and stimulation. I have experience with puppy training, senior care, and building trust with shy or reactive dogs. Whether your pet needs calm companionship, a brisk walk, or mental engagement, I adapt my approach to fit their unique personality. As a professional photographer, my schedule is flexible and allows me to give your pet consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Walks are built into our daily routine—weather permitting—and if it’s too hot or stormy, we switch to indoor enrichment and play. I’m usually home during the day and evening unless I’m out for a shoot, and I’ll only accept bookings that allow me to maintain that level of presence and care. Pets in my home or yours will always feel seen, safe, and included. Safety is a top priority in everything I do. My background as a vet tech apprentice helps me spot issues early and ensure all pets stay healthy and comfortable. At home, our dogs are treated like family—but with boundaries. We maintain structure, encourage good behavior, and never let things slide just because a pet is cute (though we do think they’re all adorable). Our home is pet-friendly with lots of enrichment options, supervised outdoor time, and cozy spots to relax. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll respect your space, routines, and pet’s comfort zones—leaving everything just as I found it (or better).

About: I’ve always loved taking care of animals! For most of my childhood I even wanted to run an animal sanctuary! I love seeing the unique personalities of each pet. I care for my own pets every day with play time and making sure all of their needs are met. I also help out friends and family when they need pet care! I always make sure all needs are taken care of and the pet is getting proper love and stimulation! Play time and other games are a must!

About: As a compassionate and experienced animal caregiver, I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animal companion, focusing on their overall physical and emotional well-being. I am excited about the prospect of meeting you and your adorable pets As I'm presently working from home, I've found myself with a substantial amount of free time, and I'd like to capitalize on this opportunity to engage in an activity I thoroughly enjoy – being around animals. I have a fenced yard and own five dogs, including four small ones and one medium-sized dog, all of which are friendly, loving, and playful. If necessary, I can provide a kennel and separate them as needed.

“Eva was amazing. I really recommend her as your pet sitter. Every visit, she would update me with pictures and videos of my pet and made me feel calmed knowing my pet was in good hands. Thank you Eva! ??”

About: I am a current vet tech student and working in the veterinary medicine field I know how to administer meds and watch for irregular signs in pets so you can vacation with ease I have 2 of my own dogs and a cat. They get along with other animals well and I take great pride in being a pet parent My 2 dogs sleep in their own crates on side during the night and during the day while I am home we play fetch in our large fenced in yard and love to walk down to the creek to play in the water on hot days

“Jennifer is a very kind, understanding person who takes pride in caring for animals. She was very communicative, sent us updates and photos of our fur baby Mia and showed compassion! Definitely looking forward to having her care for our fur baby again in the future. Thank you again!”

“Lillian was very patient with my challenging pup! She's awesome.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been part of my world—feeding chickens before breakfast, brushing horses after school, and getting covered in dog hair in between! I’ve looked after everything from bouncy puppies to mellow senior dogs, and I’ve always had an easy, natural connection with animals. They seem to sense that I’m one of the good ones. I’m great at picking up on their vibes—whether they’re in the mood to zoom around or just want some chill cuddle time. Taking care of animals is second nature to me, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite things to do. I live a flexible lifestyle and am fully available to care for your pets. Since I’m not tied to a traditional job or schedule, I can offer your fur babies lots of time, attention, and consistency. Whether it’s daily walks, extended stays, or last-minute needs, I’m here to help and happy to adapt to your routine. I prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment wherever I’m staying. I care for pets in their own familiar space, which helps them feel secure and relaxed. I’m attentive to routines, respectful of your home, and can adapt to any special needs your pet may have—whether that means crating, administering medication, or extra cuddle time.

I am looking forward to learn about the different personalities and fun your animals come with! I am currently working but normally in the mornings and off by noon or before that! “My first experience with Kandace was awesome. She was able to accommodate very short notice, less than two days, for longer than a week of care. All of my fur clan warmed up to her instantly, especially the doggie. I don't have an attached yard so the dog requires two walks a day and Kandace went above and beyond with the walks. She also knew when Arti needed a break to just relax and hang out. All of the cats' litter was well kept and my place was exactly how I left it. I highly recommend Kandace and hope to use her for future trips.”

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs in my life, largely on my own. I have a particular soft spot for them and a happy dogs make me happy. I have experience in all stages from little puppies, to your older seniors and would be grateful to be able to care for any of them! I don’t currently have a job but I’m trying to save up for when I go to college in the fall. This means almost everyday I’m completely free to take care of your four-legged friends! Doing in home visits, I will remain entirely respectful. Only doing what I came there to do and ensure your pets are well taken care of and happy while still remaining professional. For walks, I would take them around your neighborhood or to a safe park area where they can explore while being closely supervised to make sure they’re being safe.

“Abby was able to drop in to check on our cat. We scheduled pretty last minute but Abby was very responsive and able to work with us. We really appreciated the communication and attention she gave when she noticed our cat wasn't feeling the best. Thank you!”

Maci P.
“Maci is a responsible young lady and has walked our dogs over 20 times. She always shows up on time, welcomes the dogs with positive energy and they appear happy to see her. She ensures she fulfills her expectations for the walk and clearly communicates with both my husband and I. Maci always stays attentive to the dog’s behaviors and needs while walking. I have had neighbors inquire about Maci and her time availability to walk their dogs They have shared her pleasant nature and professionalism when they have encountered her on the local preserve trail. I recommended Maci Pontoni and feel more than confident she can be an asset to rover.com and the neighborhood pets will reap the benefits of her loving care.”
