2. Lorrie D.
“Lorrie is a wonderful pet sitter. She communicated with me daily and sent wonderful videos of the dogs. I highly recommend her if you want a great dog sitter. She also has 2 acres for your pups to explore and play. I can’t thank her enough for making my vacation worry free about my fur babies.”
3. Aimee D.
“Took great care of our dog. I can tell that he really had a great time over there and was well cared for. I will happily have them watch my dog again in the future.”
4. Tracci B.
“Tracci was a doll! She accepted my 2 Australian Shepherds only hours before we were leaving town for the weekend. She was extremely communicative throughout the weekend and seems like such a dog lover. Her house is beautiful and the dogs have lots of space to be inside or outside. We received text and pic updates the whole time. If we ever need dog boarding again this will be our go to! Couldn’t recommend her enough! Thank you again Tracci :)”
5. Alora F.
“A big thanks to Alora and her family for caring for our boy Koda for 6 night, so that our family could secure housing in our new town. Koda came back exhausted and has been sleeping all day long! That’s the sign of one happy camper! We would highly recommend Alora to care of any dog! I appreciate them so much!”
6. Isaiah & Alyssa F.
“Isaiah did a wonderful job watching our pup! We got multiple pictures and videos while we were gone. Due to some bad weather, our flights ended up getting canceled and delayed. He was extremely flexible with us and was able to extend his time to watch our dog while we were trying to get home. He’s always extremely fast to respond and more than willing to accommodate different needs. I would totally recommend Isaiah.”

About: I have been involved in raising dogs, cats, livestock and more since I was in diapers. The first part of my childhood was spent living with Shitzu's, while the second half was spent with Bull Mastiffs, shepherds and other medium-large breeds. Simultaneously, I was involved in the caretaking of many cats, sheep, pigs, horses and more fun kinds of animals. I was the kid our neighbors often relied on to care for their pets when they went out of town. My favorite thing about adulthood, and even apart of motherhood that I love, is being able to continue bringing animals into our lives and loving on them for as long as we can. I am also a part-time photographer and will use any chance I can to photograph animals! I am currently a full-time homemaker, caring for our three kids ages 11, 5 and 3 while my husband works full-time as a Law Enforcement Officer. I am a part-time photographer, part-time teacher to our kids and spend any free time with our pets, family, reading a book or doing anything creative. The majority of my days are spent at home with my kids and our pets. Our cat, Sherlock, is timid at first meeting but quickly warms once he knows mom approves. And our pack of three dogs, Watson, Charly and Timber are always here with us too. We love this close-knit community and there is no shortage of love in this home for animals, that's for sure! We have a moderately sized home with a long, decent sized fenced in backyard. There is a covered kennel in the backyard in addition to a covered patio filled with dog beds and toys for dogs to relax in. Our dogs enjoy swinging with the kids on the tree swing out back or splashing in the plastic puppy pool. In the home, our dogs are welcome anytime, although they prefer to be outside since their double coat makes them easily adjust to outside weather. We are able to crate your pup(s) if needed or they can have free reign of the house while they are visiting. I have experience giving medications and vaccinations, so if needed, your pup would be in good hands no matter what the case.
8. Anna T.
“I was able to take my trip and Chewie was able to enjoy time with other dogs. He seemed very happy to have gotten to do so. Anna was prompt to respond on Chewies status when asked. Overall real happy.”
9. Ashley S.
“Ashley & Dave and their 2 daughters do a wonderful job loving and taking care of our dog! They are compassionate & caring which allows me to leave our dog & not worry. Truly a blessing!”
10. Vidalia L.
“Vidalia is very accommodating and patient. I was moving from a different state and I had to move my cats separately as I was flying by plane. My cats arrived a day before me and Vidalia agreed to take care of them even though it was very late at night. One of my cats was stressed out because of the move and was even aggressive towards her. Despite all, she took care of them patiently. I highly recommend her to care for your fur babies :)”
11. Rachel V.
“JD had a wonderful stay. Great communication and care.”
12. Jennifer C.
“Jennifer is really nice and accommodating. She even took care of our pit Jada with short notice. She provided daily updates for Jada including photos of their activities. We found the perfect dogsitter for Jada in the Redding area, and we look forward to her dogsitting Jada in the near future. Thanks again Jennifer!”
13. Alison K.
“I felt 100% safe leaving my dogs with Alison while on a 2 week trip. The dogs immediately loved her, her property, and her dogs. Alison was great about sending updates, and immediately took care of an issue when Remi got sick after finding treasure in the kitty litter box (I had forgotten to warn her that my pups think it’s a candy box. 😜) I will leave the dogs with Alison again without hesitation.”
14. Kira D.
“This is our 2nd time bringing our pup to Kira, she’s awesome! She’ll update you with pictures, videos, and is very flexible with requests. Her pup Lola will make a great fur friend too! We’d highly recommend her.”
15. Patricia D.
About: I've worked with dogs since I was a little girl. I used to take care of my neighbors animals when they would go our of town. I would walk the dogs and feed them. I am an early bird and go to bed late. I currently work at an emergency vet so I am used to the go go life. I want nothing but the best for all my animals I have a fully fenced in yard when I come home for lunch and bring in my dogs because it is to hot. My dogs sleep inside 2 on my bed and the others around it.
16. Shannon M.
“Our Larry had a great time with Shannon! He went to the park, played with other dogs, walked and enjoyed her beautiful spacious home! She gave us daily updates with photos and was always so responsive. Shannon is definitely a dog lover, she is considerate and knows how to take care of a dog well, you can tell by how behaved her own dog is, I highly recommend her for quality care! ”
