About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, as well as fish. I have most experience with large bully breeds. I had a black Labrador/Chow mix and English Mastiff growing up. I unfortunately recently lost my 13yr old American Bulldog in November of 2023, and 10 yr old Pitbull in May 2024 to cancer. We had both girls since they were pups so it was an huge devastation to our family. We currently have our 10 yr old Calico cat that was raised with them since a kitten. I have dog sat for friends and family as well in the past. I have experience giving oral medications and supplements if needed. I know how hard it is to work full-time and still have time to give the love and attention to your dogs that you want for them. I know many people have a hard time trusting doggy daycare with other strange dogs and the little one on one time they receive with handlers. I can give you the peace of mind knowing your pet is being well taken care of and receiving all the love and attention they deserve. During the school year I work at my son’s school on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:50-1:15. Outside of that I am open for any pet drop-in or walking needs. :-) Your pets will receive a lot of attention and love along with any necessary needs. I am in good physical condition and can lift or handle strong, heavy dogs as well.

“Lisa was great. I left my dog with my mother who cannot walk him. She worked with my mom and found good times to walk Darwin each day I was gone. Darwin loved her and so did my mom. Thank you Lisa!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember—growing up with dogs, cats, and even reptiles! I currently have a boxer mix, a Rottweiler, and a rescue cat! I also worked at a pet hotel for two years, where I made sure furry guests were well-fed, squeaky clean, and had tons of playtime. Whether it’s a tail-wagger or a purring cuddlebug, I’m all about keeping pets happy, healthy, and having fun! With working part-time & going to college, I have certain availability. Here are my available hours! Wednesdays after 4:00 pm and Fridays-Sundays anytime! I am based in Macomb but I also offer services to Chesterfield, Washington, Romeo, Clinton Township, Ira Township, Algonac Since I offer dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable right in their own environment. During walks, I make sure your pup gets the right amount of exercise, mental stimulation (sniff breaks!), and of course, plenty of love and encouragement. Safety is always a top priority—I stay aware of surroundings, and adjust walks to fit your dog’s energy level and needs. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding, playtime, potty breaks, or just some cuddle time. I always make sure water bowls are full, paws are happy, and your pet feels cared for and content while you're away.

“I can't imagine leaving Button with anyone but Lauren. She's kind, efficient, genuinely cares about how my pup is feeling and gives us such great feedback every single day that we're away. I feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Alicia is always great with our Lucy! I appreciate that she is always willing to come to our home even with such short notice! :) She sends pictures and updates of Lucy which is much appreciated as well.”

About: I have had experience with multiple kinds of animals. I have a Flemish Giant (Rabbit), a dog (Chihuahua), and have had 2 (Parakeets). I also have some Vet Tech training as well but not limited to clipping nails, giving injections, bandaging, bathing, feeding, training, walking, and bottle feeding. I am available during the weekdays from 8:30am-3pm. I can also do some weekends if given advance notice ahead of time. Look forward to meeting you and your pet! I am always making sure to check for behavior cues of other animals if applicable when your fur baby is in my care. Securing leashes to make sure that your animal(s) are safe at all times, and making the environment animal friendly as well as comfortable for your animal.

About: I have always loved animals. So I immediately applied myself at an Animal Hospital after high school, assisting in dog/cat care(nail trims, baths, behavioral therapy) and surgery for 7 years. In addition, I worked as a bather for Pet Smart grooming. I was pet sitting before covid, but stopped when social distancing was put into place. Unfortunately, my best friend crossed the rainbow bridge, and I would like to cope by helping my community again with their pets. I will only be able Friday evenings, and weekends. Sometimes my schedule changes, so hopefully I can make adjustments if possible. I currently work full time in Detroit, packaging wound ointment called HoneyCure, for dogs, cats, and horses. Depending of the dynamic, I will utilize a loop leash for added safety when walking your dog or taking potty breaks. I live an apartment, so dogs the weigh 20Ibs or under are welcome. I am willing to drive though, for pups who weigh more than 20Ibs. I am attentive when it comes to pet care because safety is important, so I will ask a lot of questions when meeting your dog or cat, and ask for written instructions on how you would like me to take care of your pet’s needs. I’m experienced with medication administration, and I have knack for a pet’s body language if they are feeling unwell or have behavioral issues.

About: I’ve taken care of my relatives dogs and cats, while they are on vacation or occupied. I am most familiar with big dogs but I have experience with all types of dogs and cats. I have two dogs in my family, that I love to spend time with and care for. I’m home from my college Grand Valley State University currently, and have some spare time. Since I love dogs and animals in general so much, I would love to work with them while earning some money for school! I have a partially fenced in back yard for one German Shorthair Pointer(Dalton) and a year old golden retriever(Kirby). My family takes them on frequent walks, and feeds them with mostly cooked meals. They have lots of play time, and lots of snuggle time.

About: Being a dog lover is part of my identity. I have 2 (high-energy) rescue pups and they're my besties. I walk them 1-2 times a day and would love to be your pup's new favorite walking buddy. Whether your dog needs a power stroll, a sniff-filled adventure, or just a little midday movement, I’ve got you covered. I'm new to Rover and currently have a flexible schedule. I'll mostly be available Monday- Friday from the hours of 6am- 3pm but open to accommodate additional requests. I will treat your dog as I treat my own- with love, belly rubs, & ear scratches. I know how to walk dogs safely, as I have experience of walking my own.

About: I've taken care of my dog and others’ since I was 10 years old. This includes a variety of rescues, pit bulls, golden retrievers, small dogs, and larger dogs. I adore all dogs and any animals! I could walk/spend time with them for ages, so I would love to have an opportunity to meet/walk your kiddos(pets). I also have experience with cat sitting and have been around many different personalities. I adore cats as well as dogs and would love to have an opportunity to meet/be with them! Kind regards:) I can fit pet care in whenever needed. I just graduated from IIT in Chicago, and I am currently living back with my parents in MI. I don’t have plans for work quite yet, so I have availability for drop ins, walks, and house sits usually any day! I know how to keep dogs safe while walking, and I allow them to smell what they need to while also getting in the exercise. My love for animals is immense, and I will treat your dog with the same passion/care I have for mine. As for homes, I am blessed to have been raised well because I know to clean up after myself (of course) and leave any place better than I found it!

“Courtney did a fantastic job with my boys. I had a family emergency out of town and she was reliable and efficient. The boys liked her pretty quickly too! My pup decided to demolish a box of Kleenex while I was away and Courtney cleaned it all up for me too! I will definitely have Courtney watch the boys again in the future! She is a little angel! Linda”

“Mikayla walked our dog for 5 days. She was always on time and Enzo loved his walks. We would definitely recommend her and will be working with her for our future needs.”

About: I've been watching and taking care of dogs for the past four years plus a cat and till this day I help take care of my sisters cat when she leaves for out of town. I'm currently working part time so at the moment so I have a lot of free time during the weekdays, and I am starting college this year so hopefully this job can help me out. I understand that every animal is different and every owner has their own rules for their pet and I will respect any rules given to me.

About: I love all animals! If they could talk I’d be in heaven. All pets are family. I’ve always been very protective of animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, turtles, chicks any animal I can care for. When I was 15 I started a small “business” taking in stray cats and dogs cleaning them up, getting them shots, ridding fleas and finding them forever homes. I recently moved from Michigan so I’d buy supplies for heated cat/dog homes outside for the ones I couldn’t take yet when it was cold out and my house was full. Knowing that I can give an animal some comfort and let them know they are loved means the world to me which is why I alway wanted to become a Vet. I currently am able to watch pets from 3pm to 7pm mon,Tues, wed, sat,Sun. I can watch your pet any time on Thursday and Friday. I am flexible I have a cage if needed but I wouldn’t typically cage any pets unless requested. I also have two cats of my own who vibe in their own room with the doors closed. I have feliway plug ins so your bestie will be calm and ready for the day.

About: I currently have two yellow labs, I've never met a dog I didnt love and who didnt love me! My take is simple, your dogs will be my grand children. They will be loved and spoiled and taught manners with patience and care. We will play fetch, chase butterflies, and cuddle. Kisses are accepted and encouraged. I have never NOT had a dog as an adult and have always trained myself. My dogs are well mannered, do not jump up on people ( that's important for large dogs) and find myself with time on my hands. I make my own dog cookies and use only fresh ingredients like apples and carrots. My home is large and dog proofed, because a little hair never killed anyone. I no longer work outside my home. This is my full time job that I absolutly love. Your pet will get a ton of love and attention. I have tie out runs and a two door safe net. Your pet will never be outside alone. We get lots of excercise with family walks daily.

“Megan is so helpful and loving to my dog Betty when she takes her on her walk. Betty’s favorite time of the day is her walk and Megan makes sure she is taken to all her favorite spots and gets in all the sniffs she needs. My work requires me to be on-call all day, so Megan really helps out so much when Betty needs to go out before she gets restless. Betty loves Megan and she gets so excited anytime Megan comes by to see her.”

Tareah H.
“Tareah is a very honest and understanding dog lover. With her having two dogs in her family it helps with her having experience. Both dogs are of different ages so she is used to taking care of older and younger dogs.”

Michelle L.
“Michelle is my sister but I am not biased when it comes to properly caring for anyone's pet. She has watched my 2 dogs on occasions where my husband and I are out of town, and they are both on Medications. She has her own dog that is a rescue. Her dogs owner contacted her when she went into the hospital to pick up her dog and watch while at hospital. Her friend ended up dying, and because she had watched the dog on many occasions in the past, and her son could not take on a 95lb. dog in an apartment, my sister agreed to keep the dog. She will be a very responsible dog sitter.”
