About: Hey there, call me Jessy! I have 5 years of professional animal care experience under my belt (read more about it below!) and I have been petsitting (not on Rover) off and on for the past 3 years. I have experience caring for many animals, including but not limited to: dogs, cats, small animals (rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc.), reptiles, amphibians, bugs, and more. I have always been an animal person, practically since birth. My family had dogs, cats, and fish while I was growing up. Back then, I wanted to be a veterinarian or dog trainer, and I loved teaching our dogs basic obedience and simple tricks using only their usual kibble. This love for animals (and strengthening their relationships with their humans) pushed me into becoming a Kennel Tech at my local animal shelter as soon as I could. I worked there for 4 years, and learned so much during my time there. During a typical day, I would take care of either dogs, cats, or intake for the day. "Dog days" entailed cleaning and resetting 100+ dog runs, taking time to ensure dogs were walked, put into exercise yards, fed according to their individualized diets, and more. "Cat days" included administering cat meds (oral, topical, and injection), cleaning up after anywhere from 40-200 cats at a time, feeding them, taking time to feed cats with specialized diets, and more. Intake days included temperament-testing new animals, vaccinating them against kennel cough and rabies, bathing and treating them for any fleas/illnesses/injuries, etc.... every day was different, but there was no shortage of work to be done for the fur babies! We were a dog/cat shelter, but there were times when we would take in other animals in need. There were times that we were caring for koi fish, bunnies, quail, chickens, ducks, goats, and even baby opossums. After working at the animal shelter, I spent a year working for my local pet store as their Aquatic Animal Specialist! This meant that that I was responsible for all aquatic life in-store (including but not limited to: freshwater and saltwater fish, crabs, turtles, frogs, snails, and more). At the time, we did not have an Animal Care Manager, so I would also take care of all the other animal life in-store (cats, small animals, reptiles, bugs, and more.) I developed a strong love for betta fish while working there - they're an extremely intelligent and underrated fish! During this time, I saw and learned so many things. I am ready to apply what I have learned as a professional animal caregiver to caring for your beloved pets at home. When you book with me, you'll never have to worry about whether or not your pet will be mentally and physically fulfilled, while being taken care of by someone with years of experience and nothing but their best interests in mind. In between these and other careers, I have petsat for all kinds of animals owned by friends and family, and have loved every second of it. Feel free to read my reviews, or ask for extra references! I'm currently working a flexible part time job, so my schedule would be centered around your pet's needs! Got an early riser who needs a potty break first thing in the morning? No problem! Do you have a special needs fella who needs let out to potty more frequently? I'll make sure to schedule extra check- ins! Does your cat have a special nighttime routine that he MUST complete with someone every night? I know how it is, and I've got you! I will care for your pets in the comfort of YOUR home, where your pet is already familiar with the environment and likely to feel the most comfortable when you are away. I will arrive at your home, feed and water your pets as needed, give them parent-approved treats and enrichment (play), and make sure they are in a safe place with access to water before I leave. Pets who need to be crated will be crated. Upon leaving, if given a house key, I will lock up for your pet's and home's protection. You will receive a minimum of one photo with every check in, though I love to take videos and lots of pics so you're likely to receive more. I am always happy to give an update whenever asked. You know your pet better than anyone, so all care and any "extras" such as treats, toys, or chews will only be given with pet parent consent and instruction. Your pet's safety and happiness as well as your peace of mind will always be my top priority.

About: I have cared for many animals throughout my personal & professional life. I have experience from working at an animal shelter where I gained extensive knowledge on a variety of different dogs & cats. I am good with reactive dogs, escape artists, special needs (behavioral & medical), & this goes for cats as well. I have cared for animals newborn to senior & am familiar with giving medication if necessary. Friends & family rely on me to care for their babies whenever they need help. I love animals of any breed or size. I currently have a 75 lb catahoula, a 75 lb catahoula/pyrenees mix, & three cats ( two of which have only three legs). My schedule is flexible but I do work so just let me know when I am needed & we can work it out. I unfortunately cannot offer boarding in my own home due to my current dogs being reactive towards others ( recent rescues). I live minutes away from several parks & walking trails. I love hiking so I also know many different hiking trails varying in distance & popularity. I am familiar with crate training & can cater to any training that is currently used so as not to interrupt what is being learned.

About: I have been in the industry since I was 15 years old!! I have always loved all animals and especially love dogs and horses. I have worked at vets, boarding facilities, breeders, and have owned dogs big and small my whole life! Your pups will be so loved while they are with me!! I also have trained all of my pups myself :) I am a teacher, so during the year I get up early to spend time with the pups and let them play and do their business. I set them up for the day and then when I get back at 3 they are let out again and it’s play time!! I have breaks and summers off which also helps with my schedule as well! I have a fenced in yard with 3 pups who are my pride and joy!! They love everyone and there ages range from 1-8 years old!! We are crating our one year old but the rest of the pups are so well behaved that they have free roam of the house! My goal is to make them feel loved and comfortable!! They all have access to dog beds or the couch and a basket of toys available for them to play with with each other or us!! We also love to take walks and play in the back yard for hour!! They have a set dinner time also.

About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of many different types of dogs and cats as well as volunteered at Furkids cat shelters. In addition, I tend to cats myself and also tend to chickens that I own. About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

Although I am passionate about my work with kiddos, I am a huge animal lover! I have had many cats and dogs in the past, having only 1 cat currently and looking to start fostering dogs soon. I have 5 summers of experience of pet sitting, transportation, and care during the summers when I am not working full-time. I can help with pet transportation, pet sitting, pet check-in's, pet walking, in-home care, or anything you need! About: I’ve taken care of and owned all kinds of dogs my entire life. I have experience with rescues, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with short temperaments. I recently graduated from The University of Georgia this past May and am living with my parents in Ellijay this summer before starting grad school this Fall! I am able to visit your pup multiple times throughout the day or stay overnight if needed! I have a rescue pit bull/lab mix named Tux who my family and I adore. Unfortunately he is not dog friendly so my house is not available for boarding.

About: I have only ever cared for certain dogs for very short intervals of time. I care for my personal dog, which is a yorkshire terrier/poodle mix, and he is a small dog under 15 pounds. I have walked a few dogs before that were of medium and big size. I am a very caring person and love dogs of every breed. I only want the very best for your furry companions because I would want the same for mine. I am hoping to gain a lot of experience from pet sitting and hope that you consider me a good fit as your sitter. I do not have any special skills, I just really love dogs and want to spend my spare time having a ton of fun with them. Thank you. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week from 7pm-7am so I am available on my days off for drop ins and walks! I prefer a notice a couple of weeks in advance if booking an overnight stay so I am hopefully able to tweak my work schedule. Thanks! When I am with your sweet baby they will feel at home. They will get plenty of exercise and be well rubbed. I love to take the pups hiking or down to the river to get exercise. I am available throughout the day due to my flexible schedule. Let me know what you need and I can most likely make sure it happens.
