I used to groom dogs as a part time job and would love to groom yours free of charge while sitting for you! I usually arrive at the client's house, let the pet introduce themselves to me naturally (no threatening behavior, no forced petting, no loud or excited talking, just let them get to know me!) and then hang out in their space for a bit, offering treats if allowed, letting them get used to me, then going on with the routine of feeding, walking, etc, if I'm allowed to groom them, once they're used to my presence, I'll begin that, making sure to stop immediately if they seem upset or threatened! I always end our day together with some treats/food and spending some time with them!

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. About: Since I was 9 years old I have been fortunate to grow up in a household that has always included dogs. Throughout the years, we have cared for a diverse range of breeds, including Terriers, Boxers, and Mastiffs and I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe more dogs). Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since before the age of 10. Family members and neighbors have continued to entrust me with there fur babies for time spans long and short. To their joy they have also left with a peace of mind. I am currently a WFHM ( work from home mom) so my schedule is very flexible. My two girls attend school full-time which allows plenty of time for walks and belly rubs. I have a spacious apartment in a dog friendly neighborhood.
