She asked great questions to understand Quincy’s needs and gave him all the care and attention he deserved. Heidi provided the perfect amount of updates and even went the extra mile to give Quincy additional stimulation by taking him to one of his favorite walking spots. She truly goes out of her way to understand the dogs she cares for and makes sure their owners feel at ease. It’s been a pleasure working with her!”

About: While I’ve never had the chance to own a pet of my own, I’ve always loved animals and have been deeply involved in helping care for them. I’ve helped raise and care for two cats and three dogs within my close network of friends and family by taking part in everything from feeding, walking, training to playtime and building trust. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to read animal behavior, respond with patience and calm energy, and understand the daily needs and routines that keep pets happy and healthy. I may not have had my “own” pet yet, but I’ve shown up for animals like they were my own and I am looking forward to caring for animals while I'm exploring new opportunities in my career. I'm currently available full-time in the DMV area [Mon-Sun] between the hours of 0500 & 1800. I'm willing to travel to build a customer base. Caring for animals comes natural for me. I have a keen sense of awareness and can anticipate and meet the needs of animals just through observing their breathing, posture, and reactions to environmental stimuli. I always travel with water, treats, and blankets to account for changes in weather or in case of emergency.

She went above and beyond to make sure that our pup got his exercise every day. It was so nice to hear that our pup was comfortable snuggling and sleeping with her.
