The last 3 summers I have been lucky enough to do long-term stays with my friend's 4 dogs and cat to help build my experience with pets. Additionally, my family has 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks of our own, so I am no stranger to larger dogs! I am currently working part-time on the weekends so my week is normally pretty free. Since I am an incoming college student, I have some commitments throughout the summer, but have no problem talking about those with clients! I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. About: As the go-to person for friends in need of dog-sitting, I recently figured "Why not expand?", hence my decision to register with Rover. Setting dogs and their people at ease brings me joy! I've had two dogs over the past 20 years: one slightly demonic and requiring special precautions, and the other a big, gentle galoot. Both absolutely stole my heart. I work from home and am available for walking (give me allll the exercise) and sitting (give me allll the cuddles). I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm around to give attention as needed, 7 days/week. I'm an early riser (6:30 give or take), so early walks or breakfasts would be no problem. I have a fenced yard that would be secure for all but the most accomplished escape artists. Your pet would have full access to all parts of the house (including furniture). That said, if crating, furniture restrictions, etc. work better for you and your dog, I would happily honor your typical rules and routines.

“Dorian was great with our pups, and I can tell the dogs had a nice time. We were In a pinch to find a sitter since both of our boarding facilities were full for the weekend and Dorian made the process of booking very easy. We weren’t aware there would be other dogs in the house at the same time but our dogs are friendly and had no issues. Would be good to give a heads up in case other pet owners were to have a problem with that. We would use him again!”
About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for many years and currently have two senior dogs of my own, so I understand the patience, attention, and consistency pets need to feel comfortable and safe. I have experience with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and the extra care that comes with older dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I give my own. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets while you’re away, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks on both weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, routines, and household rules. I take time to learn each pet’s personality and respect their boundaries, especially with senior, shy, or anxious pets. When staying in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space, keep the home secure, and provide regular updates so owners can feel comfortable while they’re away.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for years. I previously worked at a veterinary hospital, where I cared for pets in a kennel setting and assisted with appointments, giving me experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and also currently furthering my vet med education. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply cuddling on the couch, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am a stay at home (expecting) mom, and my schooling is also done at home. You can rest assured knowing that your fur baby will get constant attention and affection I have ample house space and yard space for your fur baby. I also make walks apart of my daily habit so you can rest assured knowing your baby will get all the exercise they could dream of

“Jennifer is 100% a dog person! Very warm yet very professional. We didn’t a meet and greet and she had a checklist ready to go over everything. She has spare bowls and toys. She took great care of my Odie! Even though she has a fenced in yard she still took him for walks. I got lots of pictures during his stay. Odie did have an incident and Jennifer handled my pup with the utmost care and was very friendly and professional while we worked it out. Even if Odie’s not welcome back I would still 100% recommends her. Anyone can do a job when everything goes right. It takes someone special to handle when things go wrong. 10/10!”

“Emily did a great job watching our two pups! This was our first time leaving our dogs since one was diagnosed with diabetes, so we were understandably a little nervous. Emily is skilled at giving injections and used to have a diabetic dog herself, so that immediately put us at ease. Emily did a wonderful job and kept us informed with updates and pictures. We will definitely use her again!”
