“She took excellent care of our chickens while we were away. She was always prompt and on time, and it was clear that she was experienced with chicken care. Our chickens can be easily startled, but she handled them well and everything went smoothly. She did a great job cleaning the coop and kept us updated throughout our trip. She was also quick to respond to any questions we had and communicated very well. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable chicken care, and I will definitely book her again in the future.”

My schedule is very flexible while I am home from college for this summer. I will be out of town from May 31-June 3 and July 10-18. I leave back to college in late August. I can keep your best friend company for as long as needed and cater to any special needs such as mobility, medication, and temperament.
“Amber was great. She gave me a time that would work for her because she couldn’t do my time and turns out that worked too. I’m a dummy and thought I updated my address so it sent her to the wrong house and she still went to my right address to leave the pups out. Luna and Kallie look like they had a great time and can definitely trust her with my girls!”

About: I had Chows as a kid growing up and I've had my current Chow for 8 years. I love dogs and animals in general and understand the importance of having someone reliable to call on to be able to take care of them. I'll show your furbabies the love they deserve and make sure they're looked after while you're away. I'm available to take care of your pet as needed. I'd love to arrange a meet & greet to get to know your pet in their environment and discuss expectations. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and well taken care of while you're away. Let me know their feeding and activity schedule and your instructions for keeping their area clean and tidy.
“Morgan was a really great sitter for our dog and two cats. He was very communicative and gave frequent updates. He also followed our instructions very well. I’d definitely book him again!”
“We used Rachel for the first time this week and will definitely be continuing to book with her in the future!! Our kitty loved her and she had great communication. Highly recommend!!!”

About: As a veterinary technician with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, exotics, and farm animals, I bring an extra level of knowledge and confidence to pet care. I'm comfortable administering medications, monitoring pets for signs of illness or discomfort, and caring for senior pets or those with special medical needs. I understand animal behavior, body language, and stress signals, allowing me to tailor my approach to each pet's personality and needs. Beyond my professional experience, I'm a lifelong animal lover pursuing veterinary school, so caring for animals is genuinely my passion. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, a patient friend while you're away, or attentive care during a medical recovery, I'll treat them with the same compassion and attention I'd give my own pets. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Right now, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of booking types, including daytime visits, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute requests when my availability allows. Every pet is unique, so I always take the time to learn their normal routine and preferences before a visit. Whether I'm stopping in for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or staying overnight, my goal is to keep your pet's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I'll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, potty breaks, and any medications they may need.
About: Growing up with dogs all my life along with my animal science major I well versed in medication routines, early morning to late night potty breaks, special dietary needs to the ones who have been loved past their youth and need a little extra care. I’ve been bit, scratched, slobbered and thrown up on and there is nothing too much to handle I’m working part time at a restaurant however I am more than willing to make time during off days for your fur-babies, walks and regular exercise, quick check ins and long stays I will make time to do. Pets are watched closely, mostly nearly medication administration and meal time. If desired I can feed at specific times and can adapt a medication schedule periodically for any and all fur babies.
“Aleyah is always willing to help out even if she is not feeling her best. We had an emergency today and she came to the rescue for us. So I wish her nothing but the best always.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover for my girl Mindil. I have peace of mind every day that Mindil gets the love and care I would give her, while I’m away at work. Christina is super responsive and helpful and leaves the best cards for me to view after each visit. We got very lucky to have found her.”

“Jennifer dropped in on our 5 month old puppy Bones 3 separate times this week. She sent pictures and videos and clearly did her very best in caring for our boy. We really appreciated Jennifer’s clear communication and updates. Our pup was able to use the bathroom and get out some energy for the few days we had long work days out of the house. We will definitely be reaching out to Jennifer again / more regularly. Highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Amberleigh Farms
Shannon took care of the pawed minions over 5 days and did a fantastic job! Top notch care for 4 cats and a neurotic dog. I was impressed with the level of communication and pics to confirm everyone was still alive and not throwing a rave while we were gone. I felt like my gremlins were cared for the entire time. 10/10 would recommend, would be happy to book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
