She never responded or replied. At 9pm, the night before my vacation, with a departure time of 8am, I was in a panic. Kelly was very quick to respond, she answered all my questions and even worked with me to find a way to get our pup to her since we were leaving too early to drop them off. While our dog was there, Kelly sent constant updates and photos. Her and her husband truly enjoyed watching my dog and it made me so comfortable knowing she was in good hands. About: I have always been around animals whether they were my own or someone else’s. I have also shadowed at vet clinics and done kenneling briefly at a clinic. I love spending time with pets and taking care of them. I am a college student who is currently studying biology, I then plan to go to vet school. About: Hi! I’m Charlie and I’d be honored to help you with your pet needs. I have fostered 17 dogs, mostly seniors, from mid-size to xl and a whole range of breeds, temperaments and quirks! I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and have become adept at reading dog body language and helping them feel safe and comfortable with me. I have had my beautiful fur buddy (pictured) for 12 glorious years, together we have gone through puppy socialization classes and dog obedience training, (not to mention a transatlantic flight, 3 house moves & 5 deployments). He is a 12yo German shepherd, who has taught me how to be a kind, patient leader and how to work with headstrong, intelligent dogs. In 2022 the universe decided we needed another dog and we ended up with Blitz, a Siberian husky that has had a very hard life, after the family we were fostering him for decided they didn’t want him back and we couldn’t find anyone in the market for a “husky with issues”. Growing up with 2 dogs and 3 cats I am most happy when I can share space with animals. I have previous experience with dog walking and house visits for cats. I would love to meet, become friends with and help out with your fur-friend and will take care of them with diligence, love and joy. I look forward to meeting your family! I am available for dog walking and house calls weekdays, between 9.30-3. Weekends and evening walks and house visits can be arranged on an individual basis. We live on 8 wooded acres, perfect for exercise and olfactory stimulation for your pup. I have two senior pups that are used to sharing their space with other dogs and two respectful children that love dogs whilst also being great at respecting their boundaries (they have experienced all manner of foster dogs with their varied personalities and needs). I can accommodate crating if necessary but as I am home most of the day it is unlikely they will be crated unless you specifically request it. I don’t have a fenced yard, so if your dog is an escape artist then our space may not be best for them, but for most dogs this just means fun stimulating walks, instead of yard time. We do plan to add a fenced area in the future.
About: I’ve only had a personal pet. We had Bigs for almost 7 years before we had to put him down. I learned a lot from Cesar Milan at first but then realized consistency and love were the key to success. I’m currently care giving so I have a flexible schedule. I don’t work but I’m not available every day. I’m looking to help with your fur baby 3 day out the week, midday. I had to put my baby down recently, but, when he was around he was mostly indoors. We played with him outside and took him on regular walks. He had a bed in every room lol but was restricted from certain rooms in the room using a gate for the steps.

About: My husband and I are blessed to have a totally fenced in home with over three acres. I decided to use this blessing to bless dogs to come and run and play. Dogs were meant to run and roam not be tied up. I so enjoy being outdoors and being around dogs. I have always had dogs even growing up with my family. About: I love taking care of my 4-year-old pug and making sure she’s living her best life! I also have two pugs, so I’m very experienced with caring for dogs and giving them lots of attention and love. I’m a college student and play college field hockey, which has taught me responsibility, time management, and dedication. I will treat your dog the same way I treat my own pets and make sure they are cared for with patience, affection, and plenty of love! I am free anytime during the week starting at 11am-8pm. I can come visit your pet multiple times a day to take care of them. Previously my family and I had a pug when I was younger, but sadly she passed away at 12. During covid we got another pug we have had her for four years!
About: We are a military family and have three children (youngest is 15). We live on 41 acres, mostly all forest. We own four horses, two barn cats, two goats, four sheep, a bunch of chickens, a bearded dragon, an house cat, and three small dogs so we have a large variety of animal experience. We have an abundance of wild life that visit us almost daily which is always exciting. We absolutely love animals and spoil them to no end here. If you are just looking for a dog walker or someone to drop in at your home, I can certainly do that at least twice a day where needed. I just ask that your pet be leash trained beforehand. I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals in all different sizes so do not hesitate to ask me about other animals besides cats and dogs. Hope to hear from you soon! We have a small fenced back yard and three small dogs for playmates (the cat mostly hides 95% of the day). The rest of our property is secluded in the woods. Probably best to actively be on tick meds as even if we never go in to the woods, the woods do completely surround us and we have found a few ticks on the dogs in our two and a half years here so far. Kennel time as needed only, we prefer “down time” of just lounging around freely whenever possible, but do require animals to be kennel trained just in case something urgent or emergent arises.
About: Hi my name is Allie, I am currently a dog groomer and love spending my days with animals. If I am not at work grooming dogs I am taking care of animals either at home or for a family while they are out of town. I grew up on a farm so I do have experience with a wide array of animal types! I am comfortable around large and small animals of all kinds and will treat them like my own pets, who I consider part of my family. I know animal first aid, cpr and the Heimlich maneuver. I am able to administer medications and have a back ground with animals that are special needs. Your furchild will be well taken care of, loved and be happy and healthy when you return! Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

When we got to the house, Hugo jauntily walked right up to the right place, stopped to pee on a bush, and cruised right on in like he owned the place. I've never seen him so immediately at home in a strange house. He briefly greeted Bob and then explored. It was amazing. Brian has a very laid-back, positive vibe that transmits to people and to dogs. He is also very good at judging personalities and knowing how much affection and attention a dog is going to need.
