About: I am a responsible, reliable, and intuitive dog lover, who will care for your dog as if they were my own. I understand the importance of showing up when scheduled and tailoring the service to your dog's individual needs. I grew up with family dogs since birth, and have cared for my own dogs over the past 20 years. I started my own professional dog walking and sitting business in 2018. I have experience with many different breeds, ages, and abilities. Through my dog walking business, I also have extensive experience walking small groups of dogs off-leash in nature. If you are interested in this service, I have two female golden retrievers who would be thrilled to join your dog on an adventure hike, providing enrichment, socialization, fun, and lots of exercise! I've recently relocated to Strafford, NH so I'm looking forward to building my clientele in a new area! I serve the Southern Lakes Region of NH. Please note: -Boarding and Sitting Nightly Rates include potty breaks in the morning and evening, as well as a 30 minute drop-in visit or private walk midday. Additional time for the midday walk, adventure hikes, or additional walks may be added on at a discounted rate. Dog care is my full-time job and life! Drop-In Visits & Walks: I'm available Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, for walks and drop-in visits, with some after-hours availability on an as-needed basis (please note, after hours requests may incur an additional fee). Overnight Sitting & Boarding: Available 7 days/week. Since I care for many dogs during the week, your dog may be hanging out at home for a period of time while I walk other dogs or run errands. Other than that, I'll be home with your dog! Your dog will be treated the same as my dogs, and that means they will be the center of my attention! Boarding: This is a very calm and quiet household (with the exception of some barking) - no kids. My two female golden retrievers (2yrs & 10yrs) are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too if you allow it. Your dog is welcome to sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer a cool tile/wood floor. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. Please bring your dog's crate if needed, as well as their bed, food, and any other items they may need. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play with each other as well. Overnight Sitting: I have many years of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs. In addition to caring for your dog(s), I'm happy to take in mail/packages and water house plants. If you want, I can even bring one or both of my dogs with me to provide socialization and companionship.

Since I keep my service radius close to home, I can easily fit in drop-ins, feedings, walks, and playtime without feeling rushed. I make visiting and caring for your animals a dedicated part of my day! I live in Barnstead, but work in Portsmouth so don't me afraid to message me if you appear outside of my radius. Safety and clear communication are my top priorities. When visiting your home, I strictly follow all feeding, medication, leash and other guidelines to keep your pet safe and comfy. I ensure entryways, doors, and gates remain secure at all times, double-check that food and hazardous items are out of reach, and treat your home with respect. During every visit, I provide thorough updates with photos so you have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well-cared for.

About: I have spent lots of time with a family dog and have been a sitter for several breeds over the years, often through friends and family. I am always over the moon to meet and spoil (to the owners comfort) a new furry freind! I am currently a graduate student which allows me the flexibility to schedule quality walks and play time with your pups! I typically work from home 50% of the work week, so getting out for a walk in between computational work is a win win! As a dog walker I will make sure your pup has a positive high quality walking experience. If I am sitting, I will ensure all fur babies get the level attention and care they need to feel safe and happy.

About: I have taken care of pets, including dogs, cats and farm animals, since I was a small child. I currently have two active dogs, one of which has epilepsy and requires multiple daily meds, therefore I have a great deal of experience keeping up with medication schedules and administering appropriate meds. I trained one of my own dogs to be a therapy dog and we are a current therapy team. My husband and I travel with our dogs whenever we can, but sometimes it's not possible to take them. Because of this I easily understand the importance of finding pet care givers who we can trust and rely on. I am a responsible, retired professional looking to help give others that peace of mind. I retired from my full time career a year ago and in general have flexibility to pet sit at any time. My husband takes care of our own pets when I am away. I will manage care for your pets according to your wishes, including walking, playing, giving medications, crating, etc. I will give them kisses and cuddles if they allow it and will enjoy getting to know them and their personalities.

About: When I’m not boarding, walking, or doing doggy daycare I’m hanging out with my kiddos. Occasionally I also foster puppies at 8 weeks old and start the potty training process and prepare them to go to their furever home. Does your dogs like to sleep on the couch? Perfect! I do too! Do they prefer to sleep in bed with you at night? Not a problem, come on in! Does your dog need daily walks? You got it! I live on a quiet road off the beaten path. I tend to treat all animals with the respect and love I give my children and I teach my children the same morals. Pets aren’t just pets in my eyes, each dog has needs they need to have met and it’s my job to make that happen when they are in my care. During my high school years I spent my time after school volunteering at the local veterinary clinic assisting the vet techs preform their daily tasks. Growing up I worked on a dairy farm. I know how to administer medications, potty train, bathe, and trim nails. I’m a stay at home mom during the week so I am always home to give my furbabies all the love and attention they want. When I’m home and need to leave your pups will tag along with me through my daily routine and hangout with me. Or if they’d prefer to relax at home and have free range they can! I try to keep a potty and feeding schedule the same as when they are with you. I live in a lake house so if your pups love to swim then this is the place to be! I also have a decent size yard (unfenced) for playing. My two dogs will keep your furbaby company in a doggy sense. My children will also play with your babies so they will definitely have a lot of attention. Inside my house is baby proof so it is also dog proof. Do you want to FaceTime your dog while they are with me? Not a problem, call whenever. I will send pictures and updates throughout the day for you so you know they are okay. Your pets truly are treated like family in my care.

About: I provide attentive, loving care to animals while their owners are away. My responsibilities include feeding, walking, playtime, administering medication if needed, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I understand how important it is to maintain routines and build trust with each animal, ensuring peace of mind for both pets and their people. Pet care fits naturally into my routine—I enjoy early and after work walks, scheduled feedings, and making time each day to give pets the attention they deserve. I am currently a bather and groomer at Petsmart. I care for pets in their home by feeding them at scheduled times, taking dogs on daily walks, cleaning litter boxes or cages, refreshing water bowls, giving medications as directed, and spending quality time playing, grooming, or just keeping them company to ease separation anxiety. I follow all instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual routine and comfort.

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and rescued a cat while in college. I have also taken care of my friends/family’s pets when they are away. I work night shift and have a somewhat flexible work schedule that only takes up 3 nights per week. I’m willing to work with you to coordinate the care of your pet and can make schedule changes with enough advance. I can adjust easily to the routine typically done for the pet and will honor the wishes of the owner. I abide by leash laws and use an abundance of caution during interactions with other animals or people.

About: I have a degree in animal science and behavior from UNH. I am also a certified dog groomer from the Whole Pet Academy. I am experienced with medical emergencies. I have experience with puppies and have whelped and cared for a litter of 8. I am CPR certified and have 5 dogs of my own. I am capable of walking and looking after many dogs because I do it everyday! I have worked for a dog day care/boarding facility as well as dog groomers. I have also been house sitting and dog walking for many different breeds and cats since I was 15. I will love,care and protect each pet as if they were my own. I currently work for myself from home and create my own schedule. I have plenty of time to walk and play and help your pet with any needs they may have! I also have well behaved and social dogs if they ever need a play date or someone to romp around with safely. I have a fenced in area for my dogs that can also be turned into two areas if your pet prefers privacy, I also have large dog crates available for space, I also have an inside pen that the dog can stay in if they are not used to being crated. The dog can sleep with me as well if that is what they are used to, I do have well behaved dogs that would love to play if thats what your pet would enjoy. I want your pet to have as comfortable an experience as possible while their loved one is away. Its what I would want for my pets and I would treat yours the same way. At your house I will follow whatever rules you have for your pet whether it be leashed walks or play in a fenced yard or area

“After meeting with Gwen we felt they were a good fit, and we scheduled nightly check ins/ feedings for our cats for the 10 days we would be visiting family. Gwen has such a pleasant demeanor and always talks to our cats just like we would! We made it clear that our priority is the cats getting love and attention and they consistently played with and loved on our cats. They are great at following instructions and not only made sure our cats were loved and fed but also took care of our many plants, and even tackled the weekly deep clean of our giant litter box! Our cats always seem happy to see Gwen and we got detailed updates and excellent communication throughout our trip. When we had to extend our trip for a couple days, they went above and beyond and accommodated to be able to continue the check-ins for those days. Gwen is a friendly, responsible, attentive person and is a fabulous sitter! We highly recommend their services!”

About: I've walked dogs before, but I am not as experienced with dogs as I am with cats, however, I like dogs and hope to get more experience caring for them. I currently attend university, I'm also a student athlete, but I'd love to make some extra cash and I really love animals. I am studying animal behavior at school. For both cats and dogs, I will do whatever asked of you in terms of how often to feed them, take them out, medicate them, etc. However my schedule is very busy and I might not be able to go to your house multiple times a day.
