About: Hello, My Name is Ashley and Ive always had a passion for animals. Between cats, dogs of all breeds and sizes, and exotic animals, I have experience with them all! I went to a technical high school and completed a vet assisting program, where I learned how to administer meds and work as a vet assistant. After that I worked as a Kennel Technician for a couple years. I went to grooming school and learned how to become a professional groomer. After leaving the field, I have started doing pet sitting and dog walking. I am moving to New Hampshire and wanted to join Rover to provide quality care to dogs of all sizes! My Golden Retriever, Marshall, is a sweet and well-loved boy who adores making new friends. He loves to play with other dogs, nap on the couch, and splash in a pool on a hot day. I always make time for my dog whether it’s taking walks during breaks, playing in the yard, enrichment games, or sunbathing time (for the dogs, not me) I have a fully fenced in backyard that always has fresh water for the pups. There’s plenty of toys to play with, shade under a gazebo, and on a hot day, a mini pool to cool off in! The yard is treated with all natural, pet safe flea and tick deterrent.

About: I was a dog mom for 17 yrs. I had two dogs, Kiya and Elvis, who were the best friends a girl could ever ask for. Sadly, they are both gone now. I have watched dogs for friends and family and I volunteer at my local animal shelter. I find so much joy in it. I'm semi-retired now so I have found I have a lot more time to do both now. I would love to care for your dogs. I never met a dog I don't like. I know it can take time for some dogs to trust and I accept that, especially with the shelter dogs. I always miss the dogs I've watched and the dogs who get adopted. From the time I was a small child, I have been drawn to animals. I'm semi-retired now so I'm frequently available to care for your dogs. It can be a potty break on a long work day, a weekend get away or a vacation. I've watched dogs as small as a 3 lb chihuahua to a 75 lb lab. I easily adapt to whatever routine and care your dogs are used to. I have an agreement with myself that I don't leave your dogs unless I absolutely have to. I've watched dogs in Florida and Colorado where I was encouraged to venture out and enjoy myself but I preferred to do that with their dogs or not at all. I will treat them with the utmost care, after all they are like your children. I'm happy to have them sleep with me if that's what they feel best with. My dogs slept with me every night. I respect if people crate their dogs as well.
About: I have spent lots of time with a family dog and have been a sitter for several breeds over the years, often through friends and family. My home is a haven for dogs, with a fully fenced-in backyard where they can play, sniff, sunbathe, and explore safely. My Golden Retriever, Marshall, is a sweet and well-loved boy who adores making new friends. He loves to play with other dogs, nap on the couch, and splash in a pool on a hot day. I always make time for my dog whether it’s taking walks during breaks, playing in the yard, enrichment games, or sunbathing time (for the dogs, not me) I have a fully fenced in backyard that always has fresh water for the pups. My dogs are allowed on our couches, so yours would be too. They sleep in my husband's and my bedroom, so your dog would also be welcome to sleep in our bedroom, or downstairs in the living room/kitchen if they prefer. Free-range dogs are welcome and crate training is not required unless your dog is destructive or unsafe when left unattended. We have a fenced in yard to let them out for potty-breaks and to play. If you would prefer me to stay in your home overnight, I have a lot of experience staying in clients' homes with their dogs, and often bring my dogs with me to provide socialization (if you want).

And while the barn may be bigger than the house, the house is designed for this in mind and they will have the run of it! I have a professional flexible full-time position in our family business. By limiting my clients to one family at a time I am able to fulfill my promise to provide the best possible care. We have 7 acres, 4 of which are 80% fenced in. We also have a sand horseback riding arena we are working to also utilize as a dog play area so they can be securely playing off the leash. I have extra large dog crates in their room for security at night if needed, and they will 100% always be on a leash.
