About: [Please note: I am back in Maryland for this season.] I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, whether in my own house or my neighbors’. I’ve become used to both the chaos and peacefulness of pet caretaking, and I’m always ready to learn something new. In terms of dogs, most of my experience has been with small to medium or slightly large dogs, but I’ve spent time with all types and am excited about new experiences. I’ve walked dogs and pet-sat for neighbors as the majority of my paid experience, and I’m looking to expand outside of my neighborhood. As someone who goes to college in another state, I am often in Maryland during the summers and winters, where I have extra love to give to pets (there aren’t many on campus)! While back home for summer or winter vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and love to go walking, which is why dog walking and pet sitting suits me perfectly. My other job is during the school year, so it doesn’t interfere with my summer/winter schedules. That means that I am available most days of the week, and I will try to be as accommodating as possible for my clients. As someone who’s grown up with pets, I regularly help with feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up their litter box or taking them to the bathroom, administering medicine when necessary, along with any other additional care that they need. While working with clients, I write down any specific instructions they have for me and build a consistent routine, especially if I am pet sitting. About: From house sitting and petting sitting for neighbors when I was young, to fostering pets for the past 5 years, and caring for friends pets when they go away, I have always enjoyed meeting new dogs & cats and caring for them, feeding them or administering medications, playing with & walking them, or just sitting & talking with them, even bathing them! I have a calm and friendly personality that animals gravitate to. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. My kids are 17 & 18 so they drive themselves around. I can help on weekends, overnights, weekdays, nearly any time, as well as on short notice. I would offer my own home as well but I have a cat and a dog so sometimes the guest pets don't get along with other animals. In your home I can sit with them and talk to them if they're a lazy pet, or take your pup for a walk or running if they're high energy. I could also take him or her for car rides to get a pup cup at Starbucks or to my large fenced in backyard to run around. I live off Sunshine Way in Westminster near the Wal-mart.
About: Simply put, I truly LOVE animals. I have always enjoyed spending time with, and playing with pets of all kinds. I will put your pets' needs above my own. I'm currently working full time, but I am usually home when not at work. I live 5 minutes away from my job, so I will always be available for your fur babies even while working if I need to be. I care for pets the same way I would care for a baby. Their needs are always more important than mine, and I will always make time for them. They also get plenty of attention and play time! Please note: I will have to crate them while at work. This is the ONLY time they will be crated. I will also be home around 1:30 for lunch to take your pet out for a potty break.

About: I have had dogs since I was born - big dogs, little dogs, hyper dogs, and lazy dogs. I took care of those dogs growing up whether it was walking them, watering them, feeding them, or cleaning up after them. However, I’ve taken care of other people’s pets since I was 10, walking and feeding neighbors dogs and cats, as well as sitting for friends and family. I currently am a senior in high school who gets up at 6 for school, so I have early mornings available, and get out of school at 2:30pm. However, this means I do have weekends free all day every day! I have a huge back yard that so many dogs have enjoyed. I have crates from when my dogs were being crate trained, however now they roam so those crates are open if needed, otherwise I love a dog that likes to sleep in bed!

Sam was wonderful with our dogs! She was able to build a positive relationship with our fearful pup and keep both engaged. Sam sent lots of pictures and video. I felt so relieved to know that my boys were comfortable in their own home and in good hands. Sam was respectful of our home and preferences. We'll definitely hire Sam again for our next trip!
We booked Lauren to house and pet sit for a week while we were at the beach, and she was so wonderful and accommodating, even on semi-short notice when the sitter I had originally booked fell through! I had very detailed notes and instructions which she followed to the letter and was also super helpful with household duties like taking the trash out, washing dirty towels/linens, etc. Came back to the house exactly as we left it and a very happy house of pets (two dogs and a cat) who barely even missed us!!
