“We have two English Mastiffs and this was our first experience with Boarding. Our girls have always been watched at home and they’re a big pair of ladies to accommodate, so we were a bit apprehensive. At our meet and greet Heather was fantastic. Her experience shined through; she was easygoing and patiently answered all of our questions. We decided to have a “dress rehearsal” overnight and it was a hit! The girls had a great time, we received loads of pictures and updates and when I arrived for pickup our girls were both relaxing in the den. If our girls were at ease then we’re at ease. About: My first task/jobs given to me at the rescue was with cats until I was bigger and heavy enough to walk the dogs. I was coined “Cat Companion” and socialized kittens and cats so they were more affectionate and calm, so they would be more likely to find a home. I cleaned litter boxes, dishes, beds, cages, blankets, etc. Sometimes I work with the cats who have leukemia so I often help clear eye boogies and nose snot, as well as practicing extremely thorough cleaning afterwards and they are always my last stop at the rescue. My baby, kali (pictured), who was a calico that lived until 19 years old, however she became senile in her last couple years so i’ve also dealt with dementia and things of the sort as well if that was ever the case.

Lindsay grew up with a dog from the age of 10 until she moved out of her parents' home and is accustomed to the care, love, and energy needed to make a dog feel at home. For the last decade, she's often been entrusted with the care of family members' and friends' dogs when they've been on vacation. Our home is large, with plenty of room for a larger dog to feel comfortable, 3.5 acres of wooded land for us to go on trail walks, and a safe, friendly neighborhood for street walks. I also regularly sit/walk dogs for friends and family members. I had several cats growing up as well, so I'm happy to care for them. Additionally, I grew up next to a neighbor with a horse farm who I would help, so I can groom, muck, and ride horses. I'm a big animal lover, and a very active person, who enjoys playing, running, walking, and hiking with all animals. I'm happy to house sit as well. Saturday through Monday my schedule is open to care foe your pups! Tuesday and Thursday I am available from 12:30PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 2PM onwards. My complex has a dog park where I can regularly take them for bathroom breaks. I don’t mind dogs on furniture or beds but I am happy to adjust my style to however you care for your dogs at home. I have a trail very close for long walks and play time.
About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I've dog-sat little dogs, big dogs, disabled and elderly dogs, as well as young pups and households with multiple animals! I will give you the best care, whether it be for your pets, home, or more! Right now I work part-time at a bakery on Sundays, and I am also a full-time college student! Thankfully, my schedule is very flexible and my attention will solely be on your furry friends. I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.
About: I have over six years of experience caring for animals through my long-term involvement with Animal Rescue, Inc. in Pennsylvania. Through this experience, I have worked closely with a variety of animals and developed a strong understanding of their individual needs, behaviors, and personalities. When I am in clients homes, I stay in respected areas as long as the animal doesn’t go somewhere I need to get them for safety reasons. Depending on the animal, I try to get them active and make sure they use the bathroom, especially if I feed them. I make sure I always lock up afterwards and turn off all lights.

Her experience shined through; she was easygoing and patiently answered all of our questions. We decided to have a “dress rehearsal” overnight and it was a hit!
