“Roger and Amy were very professional and accommodating to my pup’s needs. They were on time and made sure she got everything she needed for her meal and walks. I will definitely request them again in the future knowing I can trust them with my baby. 🤍 Thank you both so much!”

“Joanna was the best possible choice we could have made. When things fell through for a sitter right before our big family road trip she came to the rescue and helped us out so much. She loved our doggos just like they were her own and treated them just as good, if not a little better due to all the walks, then we would have! Definitely our go to for the next time we need a little help”

About: Hi, I'm Chelsea! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've had cats and dogs my entire life, and I currently care for dogs, and cats! Caring for a variety of animals has given me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care routines, and it's something I'm truly passionate about. For the past 10 years, I've worked for a residential cleaning company, cleaning high-end condos and homes. My job is built on trust, reliability, and respect for my clients' homes and belongings, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with both your home and your beloved pets. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra patience and attention, I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll provide dependable, loving care and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in great hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work part time and have a very flexible schedule to help with yours and your pets needs, most of the weekends im available as well! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I follow your care instructions carefully, provide plenty of love and attention, keep a clean and secure environment, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I also send regular photo updates for peace of mind.
About: $20 off for first time bookings using https://www.rover.com/sit/nates19697 I've ran my own kennel for 15 years for small to medium dogs. I have a lot of experience with taking care of your pets and making sure you can function without the thought of your pet being mistreated. I have been a dog lover all my life. I also have non-aggressive French bulldogs your family member can play and bond with. I'm available anytime time. I'm just a call away from dropping your family member/members off for a nice clean stay until you arrive home from work or vacation. A nice big fenced in backyard so they can run and rest and I have three French bulldogs of my own. So they will have friends to talk and play with 😂
About: Growing up with dogs I realize all dogs are good dogs but it takes time to understand them and build trust. It doesn’t matter if your dog is in training or well trained already, I’m ready to give them a home away from home while you are busy. I work from home and I am home most of the time. Your dogs will get the same attention and care I give my own three dogs. If you have a certain schedule, such as feeding and potty, please let me know. My dogs roam free around the house and yours are welcome to as well. They will also be able go in and out of the house into the yard freely while I am home. Please note that the house is partially fenced and smaller dogs can slip under the gate.
About: I grew up around dogs. I cannot remember a time in my life in which I did not own a dog. I love dogs with all my heart. Friends and family have always trusted me with their fur babies to dog sit and care and love them. I am also usually tasked with training their dogs to do basic commands. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all breeds. I have a couple years of experience volunteering at my local animal shelter, and even have an adorable Valley Bulldog mix as a result of volunteering. I could not resist adopting at least one of my shelter babies! I also currently own a black lab. I love my dogs sooo much, and I will take care of yours as I do mine. I work in the education field, so my schedule is FULLY OPEN from June throughout July. When school is in session, I am available from 4:30pm-10pm and open availability on weekends. I will be there to give your dog whatever care and attention they need, whether that is walking them for however long they are used to, feeding them or giving water, taking them outside to play, etc.
About: 🐾 A Lifetime of Love, Now Sharing It Through Rover Hi! I’m Isaac, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 9 years. Before joining Rover, I worked for free because I simply love animals and wanted to help people in my community. Over time, my passion grew into a professional career where I get to do what I love every day — caring for dogs and making pet parents’ lives easier. I’m also an up-and-coming book writer, which means I’m extremely organized, focused, and detail-oriented. I take notes on every dog I care for so I can fully understand their personality, quirks, and needs. I always do meet & greets before starting any job so that your pet feels comfortable and you can feel confident that they’re in safe hands. I’m calm, patient, and dependable, even in the most stressful or chaotic situations — whether it’s handling a dozen energetic pups, an overly affectionate dog, or cleaning up big messes (which I always do so well you’d never know it happened!). I can handle pregnant dogs, multiple pets, and any breed, and I even offer free basic training for dogs who need a little help with manners — as long as they’re not aggressive. I understand all a dog’s cues — when they’re happy, nervous, or uneasy — and I always listen to what they’re trying to communicate. I take pride in the fact that I’ve never failed a single dog I’ve worked with, no matter how challenging the job was. The only pets I don’t take are aggressive or unpredictable dogs that have a tendency to bite, nip. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and positive experience for every animal I care for. I’m quick to respond to requests and open to long-term clients who want a sitter they can rely on year-round. If you’re looking for someone who’s passionate, responsible, and treats your pets like family, I’d love to be your go-to sitter! 🐶💙 Hi there! I’m so excited to be offering my dog sitting, walking, and drop-in services here on Rover. While I may be new to the platform, I’m definitely not new to caring for dogs! For the past 9 years, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for family, friends, and neighbors — caring for pups of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve learned that every dog is wonderfully unique — and they deserve care that’s just as personal. Whether it’s a drop-in visit for some playtime and cuddles, a long refreshing walk, or overnight house sitting, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and understood. Here’s what makes my care a little different: 🐶 Heartfelt, Personalized Attention I don’t just “check in” — I connect. I take time to learn each dog’s quirks, favorite games, and comfort zones. Whether your dog is shy, energetic, or needs a little extra patience, I adjust my approach to make them feel completely at ease. 🚶 Walks That Nurture Mind & Body Walks with me are more than just a potty break — they’re time for enrichment, sniffing adventures, and positive energy. I match your dog’s pace and personality to make each walk both fun and fulfilling. 🏡 Respectful, Reliable Care at Home When I’m in your home, you can trust I’ll treat it — and your pets — with the same care and respect I give my own. You’ll always receive clear communication, photo updates, and peace of mind knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for. ❤️ Built on Experience, Fueled by Love I’ve spent nearly a decade caring for dogs simply because I love it. Now, joining Rover lets me do what I love most — bringing comfort, joy, and trust to pets and their people. Your dog isn’t just another booking — they become part of my extended furry family. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, not just someone who “sits,” I’d love to meet your pup! 🐾 🕓 Availability & Scheduling I aim to make pet care as flexible and stress-free as possible for every family I work with. 🐾 Drop-In Visits: Available any day and time — except on major family holidays. I’m happy to accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits to fit your dog’s routine. 🏡 House Sitting: I’m available for overnight or extended stays anytime. I just ask for at least one day’s notice so I can plan accordingly and give your pet my full attention. 🚶 Dog Walks: I offer walks daily between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM — perfect for after-work strolls, evening walks, or nighttime potty breaks. Please note: I do not offer walks past 11:00 PM. Communication and consistency are important to me, so I always confirm bookings promptly and keep you updated with messages and photos during my visits. My goal is to give you total peace of mind — knowing your pets are cared for with reliability, love, and respect for your schedule. Hello! “Mariah was GREAT! She watched our cats while we took a holiday trip this Thanksgiving and she was very attentive, caring, kind, and even sent us photos of our babies while we were gone! It was so reassuring knowing they were in such great hands! She is an animal lover who is currently studying to work with animals as well! We loved her care so much that we booked her for another vacation where we will be out of town! She will treat your pets the way you would treat them, it comes very natural to her!”

“Kristie lives within 2 miles of my secluded mountain home. I was thrilled to find someone so close. Kristie followed up via email multiple times. She is a knowledgeable dog person. My dog took to her immediately. They played together for about a half hour. Kristie did a follow-up email. I am very satisfied with the entire Rover process. THANKS”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,173 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Alray. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Alray. On Rover:
- 87% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
