“Sadie enjoyed her stay with Kaia & Desean…she is a very skiddish puppy and did incredibly well with them 😆 They sent a pic daily with an update, which was greatly appreciated!! We would highly recommend them to take great care of your beloved pet!!”

“I will forever be grateful to Katie. While I was giving birth, she watched my dog as normal, but it was able to incorporate, baby blanket and baby crying to help introduce our new daughter to him. I am so blessed that we found her as she is a wonderful human mom and dog watcher. You cannot go wrong with Katie.”

“I had a great experience with Dominik boarding my two dogs. What stood out the most was that he was willing to take them in at the last minute, which helped me out tremendously and truly meant a lot. From the beginning, Dominik was professional, responsive, and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs in his care. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals and wants to make sure they feel comfortable. My dogs were well taken care of, and I appreciated knowing they were in good hands while I was away. Finding someone dependable to trust with your pets is not always easy, but I would absolutely recommend Dominik to anyone looking for reliable and caring boarding services.”

“Great experience! Our dogs were well cared for, and we appreciated the photos, updates, and the wonderful interaction with them. Thank you for taking such good care of our pets!”

“Samantha helped me out at the last minute and was wonderful!! I have an older dog that I don’t just leave with anyone, and I was very pleased!! Thanks so much! I would definitely use her again!”

“Donald took excellent care of Rani while we were away. He shared updates frequently with photos which our family appreciated very much. He cares for our pet like they are his own. We can tell she was given a lot of love. We have already rebooked Donald for Rani for her next stay, that should say it! Thank you, Donald.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience caring for and training my own pets. I grew up with two dogs and a cat, and now that I live on my own, I have two cats and a dog of my own. I personally trained my dog, so I’m comfortable working with basic obedience, reinforcing routines, and helping pets learn through patience and positive reinforcement. I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to get to know what makes each animal feel safe and happy. Whether I’m caring for an energetic puppy, a playful dog, or a more independent cat, I’m attentive to their individual needs and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m also comfortable maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic care, keeping pets active and entertained, and giving them plenty of attention and affection while their owners are away. I am recently post-grad and work as a server full time. My schedule is very flexible and my availability is open across the week! We are closed on sundays as well! I ensure a safe and happy environment for your pets to have a fun time whilst making sure theyre staying active and playing all the time!
About: I have grown up with pets, I got my own dog when I was 12. I walked, bathed her, and fed her. After school I would walk many neighborhood dogs. I love all animals. We had a cat that got fixed and she ate out her stitches completely and the wound opened up. I calmly held her, packed the wound, and wrapped her up. I held her all the way to the vet. I’ve always loved animals and will take care of yours just as I would my own. Since I have a dog I care for her everyday. I have a job currently at a restaurant so my schedule varies every week, I usually work morning shifts until around 5 pm, but my schedule is different most weeks. I take my dog out right when I wake up and right when I get home, I will also feed her right when I get home. I have a little front yard but the neighborhood I am in is a good place to walk dogs. I have a little dog of my own and I make sure to keep my house clean and anything that could harm her is up and out of the way. In another clients home I would make sure to keep the area just as I found it and take the dog wherever the owner usually would walk there’s or if they have any other requests I would be willing to do them.
About: As a vet student, I am very knowledgeable about animal health and behavior. I will treat your pet as one of my own while you’re away! I am currently on summer break so I’m home 90% of the time. I will make sure your dog is walked at least 3x a day and receives treats! I have a friendly 3 year old cat who loves making new friends. I have a patio where your baby can get sunlight and I can also send you pictures upon your request.
“Carter was awesome! I was very nervous about leaving my young puppy with someone new, but I knew the socialization opportunities would be invaluable. He took her to a farm, she got to interact with other dogs, and he even took her on errands in the car with him! I really appreciated the updates and pictures as well!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years as I have three dogs of my own, so I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine. I’ve helped care for family and friends’ pets by walking, feeding, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m patient, dependable, and love spending time with animals. Whether your dog needs a quick check-in, a long walk, or some extra attention and playtime, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, or special needs. I’m in college but I have plenty of time to care for your pups! I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the week and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s normal routine. I know consistency is important, and I’ll make sure your pup gets the care they deserve! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! I have three dogs of my own and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. During visits and walks, I’ll carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and any special needs. I’m happy to send photo updates during each visit so you know your pet is doing well! I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect that I would expect for my own family.
“Sierra was the best sitter I could have asked for, responsive and sending tons of pictures! She even washed my pup’s crate pad after she had an accident. 11/10 would recommend and book again!!”

“Amanda is simply amazing. She updated me with daily pictures and took my pooch for a daily adventure walk/hike. I feel at ease knowing that Freyja is being loved just as much while I was away for a week. And yes, my dog is not the easiest, she needs a lot of attention and has a hight energy level for a 3 years old Malamute. Thank you again Amanda for providing such a loving boarding experience for Freyja. 🥰”

About: I have loved dogs all of my life and have always had one. I connect with any and every dog that I come across. When you are away I want you to have the peace of mind that someone that cares is taking care of your dog. Your dog is apart of your family, and I will treat it like that! I am able to walk all sizes of dogs, and have experience with many large breed dogs. I prefer to take care of bigger dogs, because that is what I love to do. I have experience with labs all the way up to Great Danes (my favorite)!! I currently own a Great Dane who gets along with any dog. I work full time during the week, but am home most weekends. When I am home, 100% of my times will be devoted to your pets. I have a fenced in yard that is .5 acre. Dogs will have plenty of room to run out energy. Dogs are allowed on furniture.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
