“Sadie enjoyed her stay with Kaia & Desean…she is a very skiddish puppy and did incredibly well with them 😆 They sent a pic daily with an update, which was greatly appreciated!! We would highly recommend them to take great care of your beloved pet!!”

“We feel like Laura and Spirit have become pals. Laura treats her like her furry roommate. We plan to leave Spirit with her anytime that it works out. She has a true love for and knowledge of dogs, that is very obvious in talking to her. We would highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“Booking with Ryan was great. He sent loads of pictures of my dog Murray enjoying his stay. Murray is tuckered out from all the fun and walks, which really puts me at ease that he was comfortable staying with Ryan. Cannot recommend him enough.”

“Autumn was very accommodating with our last minute booking. We were from out of town and she was willing to watch our pups. Our pups seemed to enjoy their time with her and I would definitely recommend! Thank you, Autumn!”

“Katherine did an amazing job watching my rescue Doberman. Was unsure about Kane with kids but she did an amazing job keeping them on a routine for zero interaction and kept me 100% updated on anything that was going. She is a wonderful dog mom and mom and will keep your baby’s safe during their stay. She will be my number one pick for future vacations.”

“Our dog LOVED her time with Sandra and Mark. She normally takes a little time to warm up to new people and things, but she was instantly at home with them. She loved running around their yard and sitting in a little pool and sun tent that they offered her. They had excellent communication and sent us so many pictures. It’s so reassuring knowing your pup is in good hands when you’re away from them. We’d recommend them to anyone and would love to use them again in the future!”

“Leif and Dani were the best. They took very good care of our pup and kept us updated with photos throughout the stay. Very communicative. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a rover in the area!”

“Leaving Cooper for a full week over the Fourth of July was a big deal for me, but from the very beginning I knew he was in great hands. Kristen welcomed him into her home like he was part of the family and kept me updated every day with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The best part was seeing how happy and relaxed Cooper was when I picked him up. It was obvious he had been well cared for, loved, and made to feel at home. I never had to worry while I was away, and that is priceless. I would absolutely trust her with Cooper again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him!”

“I had a great experience with Dominik boarding my two dogs. What stood out the most was that he was willing to take them in at the last minute, which helped me out tremendously and truly meant a lot. From the beginning, Dominik was professional, responsive, and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs in his care. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals and wants to make sure they feel comfortable. My dogs were well taken care of, and I appreciated knowing they were in good hands while I was away. Finding someone dependable to trust with your pets is not always easy, but I would absolutely recommend Dominik to anyone looking for reliable and caring boarding services.”

About: *exotics welcome (please message so we can work out details)* I have had a variety of pets throughout my life and have watched many neighbors pets through High school and college. For the last 3 years I have been an Emergency and critical Care Veterinary assistant overnight in a veterinary emergency hospital. I am directly responsible for patient care of critically sick or injured or post-op pets. I am very comfortable caring for chronic conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, etc and will seek care if needed. I am comfortable with cats, dogs and a variety of other pets such as reptiles or birds, I have had them all as patients in the CCW. If your pets are under my care they are treated the same as my pets, whether I am dropping in for visits or they are staying at my house! I currently am in school during the week, I am able to go home for lunch if needed so most pets would not be left alone for longer than 4-5 hours, if not less. Weeknights and weekends I am generally home or in the area so they would not be left alone long on those days either In my home, I have a separate room for pets to stay so that they can be separated from my other pets if needed . I have a fenced in yard and my neighborhood is entirely walkable. If I am doing drop in visits, I will ensure your pets are happy and safe on each visit and give them some attention (if they want it ! )
About: Growing up, our neighbors on our street all had animals that they would trust my family with taking care of while they were gone. Being older now, I still have the same love of taking care of animals whether it is my own dog and cat or other people’s! I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy look after such an important part of your family and would love to be that person!! I’m a teacher so I get off work fairly early and have weekends off to help others who need it! Whether that is letting them out, taking them for a walk or feedings! I know animals prefer their own environment and would love to create a safe and trusting experience for them right inside your home to make them as comfortable as possible!

“Kailyn was awesome! She was very attentive and loving with my two cats. She sent pictures every day and was very prompt and thorough. She was easy to work with and responded quickly to every message. I will definitely be using her again. Highly recommend.”

“Bailey was amazing! Communication was fast and easy, she went above and beyond to ensure our babies stayed fed, and checked in even on days family popped in to town unexpectedly. We defy look forward to booking her again!”

“Lana was polite, friendly and professional. We were impressed that, despite an extraordinary emergency situation, she worked hard to find a way to ensure that our kitties were taken proper care of. Thank you.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means going on runs with high-energy dogs or taking slower walks and giving extra comfort and attention to more relaxed pets. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and so loved while their owners are away. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years and absolutely love them as well. I know every cat is different, and I’m always patient and attentive to their routines and comfort level. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work a 9–5 job during the week, but I have an hour lunch break that gives me flexibility for walks, check-ins, or midday care. I also usually go on a run in the mornings and take walks after work or after dinner, so I’m very used to staying active and would love bringing a dog along if they enjoy extra exercise. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.
“Second time havinf Calista taking care of my fur baby and I can only say she is a fabulous as the first time. Very patient and caring towards my skittish kitty, and on my end, sending lots of wonderful photos! Definitely will continue to use Calista in the future”

About: With 10 years of diverse experience, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, and exotic pets. I’m very patient, reliable, and studying veterinary science for added expertise. Pet care is a natural part of my routine. I balance it with school, while working part time, making time daily to give pets the attention and love they need. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, fenced backyard and a loving family that adores them. In clients’ homes, I follow routines and provide attentive care.
About: From horses, goats, and chickens to dogs, cats, and hamsters I have taken care of or had most animals under the sun. Growing up on a farm, taking care of animals has always been something I enjoy and a number one priority in day to day life. If I can take care of something 10x my size I promise I can take good care of your fur baby. I’m currently a student at Auburn University, but don’t worry I only have one or two classes a day allowing me plenty of time at home to walk, play, or simply enjoy the company of your pet. I love being outdoors so walking and hiking are some of my favorite things. I live in a trailer with a doggy-proofed screened in porch and fenced in yard, with doggy door access to inside the house. I have a friendly border collie mix to keep your baby company who loves to play, but can be separated if needed. I can crate if wanted in my absence for classes, or allow free roam to the porch and yard.

Don't worry about attention. There is plenty to go around! If I'm caring for your babies at your house, I will follow the rules you provide.
“This is the right person for your pup — Tori was amazing with Salle. I only needed a sitter for a few hours while I went into the archives for a research trip and she stepped up, was caring, asked the right questions (pre vet student) and fun (throw in a pup cup). Sal didn’t hesitate to hang with her and cried a little when she left- wouldn’t hesitate to leave my dog with her again!”

It started off small, but I fall in love with animals more and more everyday. I also love the bonds I form with their owners built on quality care and trust! I work part time, so I am available whenever for dog walking, overnight, or even just drop in visits for some daily attention when life gets too busy! I have no other animals at my home, so it would be a one on one experience with great care. When taking care of pets at someone else’s home I check in 3-4 times a day and stay overnight if the client would like. I can also provide many references from bookings I have done outside of Rover.

I am currently a vet student with over 5 years of experience working in a general practice and emergency veterinary medicine. I am available most of the summer to help in whatever way is needed. I can walk, feed, let outside, and play with your pet. I am able to accommodate any of your pets needs. I can walk your fur baby on a leash or simply just let outside. Additionally, I have experience with giving medicine to dogs and cats. Any medical or other needs that your pet may require I can provide.
About: I’m a biology Ph.D. student with a strong background in animal behavior, so pet care is something I take seriously beyond just “I like animals.” I’ve worked with and studied animal behavior across different species, including birds, fish, reptiles, ferrets, cats, dogs, and other small animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable reading body language, stress signals, fear responses, curiosity, overexcitement, and the difference between an animal needing attention versus needing space. What sets me apart is that I do not treat every pet the same. A nervous cat, an energetic dog, a shy lizard, a curious ferret, and a bird that is easily startled all need different handling. I pay close attention to each animal’s normal routine, personality, and comfort level. I move calmly, avoid forcing interaction, and try to earn trust instead of assuming it. I’ve had my own pets and grew up around family pets, especially cats, and I’m also comfortable with less “typical” animals like ferrets, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I know that some pets are easy right away, while others take time, patience, and consistency. I actually enjoy working with the ones that need a little extra understanding. I’m careful with the basics: food, fresh water, litter boxes, walks, enclosures, doors, gates, leashes, temperature needs, and owner instructions. I’m also very comfortable giving updates, noticing behavior changes, and communicating if something seems off. My goal is to keep your pet safe, calm, and cared for in a way that matches their normal life as much as possible. My schedule is flexible, especially with advance notice. As a student, I’m used to balancing responsibilities and planning ahead, so pet care fits well into my routine. For drop-in visits, walks, or sitting, I like to know the pet’s normal schedule so I can keep things as familiar as possible. I’m happy to work around feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication instructions if clearly explained, and any specific routine your pet is used to. Safety is the main thing I focus on. I’m careful with doors, gates, crates, leashes, food instructions, and anything a pet could get into while their owner is away. I do not assume every animal wants the same type of attention, so I move calmly and let them warm up at their own pace. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely and try to leave things exactly how I found them. I’m respectful of the home, the pet’s routine, and any boundaries the owner sets. If something seems off, like a pet not eating, acting unusually stressed, or having an accident, I would rather communicate than ignore it.

Most of my classes are online, so my schedule is open most of the time! In my own home, I treat all my animals like they are my biological children (which they are). About: I bring hands-on experience from working in both kennels and animal shelters, where I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments. My time in these settings has taught me the importance of routine, trust, and compassion. I also have a unique skill set in caring for exotic animals, making me versatile and prepared for any type of pet. Whether it's a playful puppy, a senior dog needing extra attention, or any other kind of pet that requires specialized care, I’m ready to provide the best care for your furry (or scaly) friend! As a college student on a pre-vet track, I’m used to balancing a busy schedule while still making time for animals. I have multiple availability blocks throughout the week, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine. I’m organized and plan ahead, so I can make sure pets get consistent care whether that’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or check-ins. Caring for animals is already a big part of my life and future career goals, so I naturally prioritize it in my day-to-day routine. I care for pets by treating them like family and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine for meals, walks, and playtime so they stay comfortable in their own environment. I’ve had many pets of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to give them not just the basics like food and water, but also attention, patience, and affection. Every pet has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them feel most at ease.
“Thank you, Laura for taking such great care of Coco our 13 year old Shi Tzu and for keeping us in touch by sending pictures of her during your stay. Knowing she was well cared for, made our Anniversary trip all that more special. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have hands-on experience working as a veterinary assistant, where I safely handled dogs and cats of all sizes, administered medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision, monitored pets during recovery, and learned to recognize signs of illness or distress. I'm also experienced with senior pets, puppies and kittens, and pets that need a little extra patience or special care. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, someone to stick to a medication schedule, or simply lots of love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them like one of my own. I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and my goal is always to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care while keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages. I'm currently taking a gap year before beginning my bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology Management at Auburn University. This gives me a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. My availability may vary slightly from day to day, but I keep my calendar up to date and always communicate clearly. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or extra attention while you're away, I'm committed to providing reliable, compassionate care. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. With my experience as a veterinary assistant, I'm comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including seniors and pets that require medication. During every visit, I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of exercise or playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of love and attention. I always respect your home, follow your care instructions closely, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return!
About: I have a passion for animals. With two cats of my own, I understand the necessity of having someone care for your babies! Travel with peace of mind knowing I will leave your babies better than you left them! I am a licensed REALTOR® in Auburn, so my work is flexible and mostly remote. This gives me the availability to care for your animals to the best of my abilities and meeting time crunches that most people can't at an eight hour shift. I come to my clients homes. By coming to your animals, they are already in a trusted environment, so it makes the process much easier for them and for me!
About: I’ve owned and cared for four dogs throughout my life. I’ve also been trusted to care for several friends pets while they’re out of town. I love any excuse to hangout with dogs! I am currently a student and part time worker so my schedule is spotty at times but any time I can help I would love too! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I love having a furry friend to accompany me on walks. I am used to taking dogs out regularly since I personally do not have a fenced in yard so poop bags and leashes are not an issue for me!
About: Hi! I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years now, and I truly love it. I’ve looked after dogs, cats, and even small animals like bunnies and hamsters. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or just giving them love while you’re away, I make sure every pet feels safe and happy. I’m super responsible, easy to reach, and always treat pets like they’re my own! I’m available every day, anytime, so I can be flexible to fit your schedule! Whether it’s a last-minute request or planned in advance, I’m here to take care of your pets whenever you need me. When I watch your pets, I make sure they’re as comfortable and happy as they would be with you! I’ll stick to your pet’s routine—whether that means feeding at a certain time, taking daily walks, or playing their favorite games. I’m also happy to administer any medications if needed.
About: I recently graduated from Auburn with a degree in Animal Sciences: Pre-Vet. I’ve grown up with dogs, horses, and cats since I was 5. I’ve also had rodents and friends with reptiles that I have taken care of. I’m patient, friendly, and can work on training basic commands. I’m fine with administering oral medication or shots. Since I do have my own pets, I can't house-sit, but if you'd like me to check on your residence while you're gone I'd be happy to! I currently work full-time, but I come home during lunch to let my dogs out and visit with them. The longest they're left at home is about 4-5 hours. I love taking them everywhere with me as long as its not too hot, cold, or bad weather. I have a fenced in backyard to play in and I live close to Kiesel Park if your dog needs some extra room to run and play. I crate my dogs when I leave and would either crate your dog(s) or close them in a room while I'm gone. My pets get fed 2x a day, have a bin full of toys, and a full water bowl at all times. I let my dogs sleep on my bed with me and I let them on the couch, but if you don't want your dog to learn that behavior then I won't let them.

“Brian, his wife, and his home are the perfect place to board your dog. My dog Cali has felt right at home and couldn't be any more spoiled. The attention, energy, and love she recieved while staying with them couldn't have been more perfect. Their house was immaculate, the yard, and location is perfect. Brian is easy to communicate with and responsive and very flexible. I was going out of town for work and needed a place for my dog and wasn't sure how long I'd be gone. They were helpful and extending was easy. If you're looking for a loving home away from home you don't need to look any farther.”
