In my single years, I cared for a beloved Jack Russel terrier from when she was an energetic pup until nearly 17. Currently, I live with my husband Seth and our two daughters, ages 11 and 13. We are considering adopting a dog to keep our chickens safe from predators and to be a hiking companion in our travels. I am a full time homemaker and homeschooling parent. My schedule is very flexible. My days include educating my daughters ages 11 and 13 and running a small homestead of a few chickens, bees, and a cat. I love hiking at Ringing Rocks, Lake Nockamixon, and Delaware River canal towpath. Your dog would be a welcome companion on the hikes! If you have a senior dog, he will receive plenty of loving attention and companionship in our home. Our small homestead offers privacy and space for play and running. Your dog may enjoy cooling off in the creek that runs through the property. We live near Delaware canal towpath and Nockamixon state park. Both places offer excellent hiking and walking options for dogs!
