About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been lucky to spend my life caring for them in many different ways. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and bunnies, so being around animals feels completely natural to me. I currently work at an animal shelter, where I care for pets with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. About: Having two dogs since they were puppies and raising four cats has taught me a lot about animal behavior, patience, and daily care routines. I've experienced everything from the teething phase to handling older pets, all which have made me a confident and attentive care-giver for all kinds of pets. I'm currently a student in high-school so my a.m. time is limited. However, I am very much willingly to assist in after-school jobs and opportunities. About: I have grown up with German Shepherds my whole life. I have walked, fed, and groomed them. I also play with my dogs all the time outside! I work part time, but do plan on going on a few little vacations here and there this summer. I am also in college, but home for the summer right now! I have an invisible fence in my front yard and a fenced in backyard, so I know how to deal with both! I also know how to properly walk dogs on leash. I also take dogs on car rides and ensure they have seatbelts on! Also, I will send pictures and videos of the dogs while I am with them :)

About: Hello, I’m Melissa. 37 years old, I have a 19 year old son and 22 month old son. My husband works full time as a truck driver. I have a 9 year old pit mix her name is paisley. I have worked at Veterinarians in the past with kennel work. Dog feedings, cleaning up after them, bathing etc. Love working with animals on the side. I am attending online college for my associates degree for medical assistant. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to run and play. A lot toys. My dog gets along very well with other dogs. I am a stay at home mom to my 22 month old son so I will be here the whole time to take care of your fur baby. I also have camera set up in living room incase I need to run to the store I am able to take a peek at the dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard, I go outside with the dogs make sure they are ok and don’t jump fence. My dog is very friendly. I also separate at feedings.

About: I have 5 dogs of my own! I have a Pitbull mix, Australian Shepherd, 2 elderly Terrier Mixes, and a Redbone Coonhound! I have previously cared for 3 elderly Poodles who needed special medical care which was administered during my visits. I periodically sit for neighbors and family's pets while they are away. I have grown up with multiple animals my whole life and am always excited to meet new friends big or small! I have a current job at a retirement home in which I work about 5 days a week. I only work shifts of 3-4 hours from 4-7:30pm give or take. Outside of those hours I am almost always free! We currently have a fenced in yard for our dogs but I always provide supervision when I let them out. I take my able dogs for longer walks when the weather is fit. I always make sure our dogs have fresh water and food to keep them well nourished and healthy. For my elderly dog, we provide her with medication each morning.

But I am happy to take care of your pets in their own environment by staying at yours, which research shows is less stressful and traumatic for your pet.

About: Growing up in a big dog- and cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. In 2020, pet care grew outside of my inner circle of friends and family, and I gained clientele I still work for to this day. While in Hawaii from August 2024 to February 2026, I dog-sat for five families on top of my day job, regularly tending to their pets every week (and some every day). This included walks and meals, house calls, trips to the beach, hikes, daily visits to the local dog parks, bathing and brushing, extended stays at my home while owners traveled, and coordinating play dates with other pet-sitters. I’ve handled animals of all sizes and temperaments, administered medication, and adhered to the specific needs of the families in my care. My focus is on the comfort, stimulation, and enrichment of your pet! I am reliable and flexible, and find genuine joy in this line of work. This is how I would prefer to spend my time! My Pets: My 120lb Saint Bernard/Bernese, Hobie, was my dutiful companion in pet care, living up to his “nanny dog” personality. In July 2025, he sadly passed at the young age of 2 due to congenital kidney failure, but his short life was full to the brim of adventures with furry friends! He was equally as loving as he was loved. My world completely revolved around him while I had him. Thistle and Pants are my two cats. Thistle is a 7 year old domestic long hair, and I’ve had her since she was 6 months old. She has very much been a partner in my pet care as well, having grown up with big dogs and preferring their company over other cats. She gives off that annoyed older sister vibe, but always wants to be near the other animals and people. Pants is a 5 month old Maine Coon kitten, and he makes himself right at home in any space he occupies. He’s adventurous and outspoken, and keeps Thistle moving (and slightly irritated) throughout the day. He’s proving to be too clever for his own good! I will be adding a new dog to the family in several months, and will undergo training with a focus on companionship and socialization. I can’t wait to have another partner in pet care!
