About: Growing up in a cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. My Pets: Thistle and Pants are my two cats. Thistle is a 7 year old domestic long hair whom I adopted from a rescue when she was 6 months old. She looks like a plump raccoon, and spends most of her time perched cozily on the back of the sofa or sunbathing on the windowsill. Pants is a 5 month old Maine Coon kitten, and he makes himself right at home in any space he occupies. He’s adventurous and outspoken, and keeps Thistle moving (and slightly irritated) throughout the day. He’s proving to be too clever for his own good, but overall he’s very chill for such a young boy. He’s currently snoozing next to my elbow on the kitchen table while I type this. About: My husband and I were both raised with dogs. I also worked at a vet clinic in the past and learned a great deal about cats and dogs from my experience there. Additionally, my husband was raised on his family's sheep farm. The farm had sheep along with alpacas, chickens, cats, and dogs. I worked on their farm for about 3 years when we lived there while saving for a home of our own. We have a small friendly Yorkshire Terrier. We also have a 5-year-old who loves animals of any kind. If I need to go in to work, it is only 15 mins from my house so I can always run home to let your pup (and mine) out. :) We have a 3-acre lot. There is room to run and play. About: Me and my family have been around dachshunds for over 10 years. A little biased, but would love to share the love to other dogs! I currently work from home and take my dog out regularly throughout the day. She gets breakfast and dinner and her monthly medications. She gets too much attention, but that’s our fault:) I have a back fenced in porch that I have a grassy area for my dog to relieve herself, as well as an unfenced front yard. If the front yard were to be used, we keep our dog on the leash for safety. Our stairs are gated to prevent any injuries.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah and I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and I've always had a love for animals. Since launching my Rover business in 2022, I have boarded all different breeds of dog from dachshund to poodle, and cavalier spaniel to every color of lab. I have also boarded several cats and I've done house visits to cat sit. My dog clients don't have to worry about conflict with another dog because I only take one booking at a time. My cat clients will never have to worry about a dog being in the house at the same time I accept a cat booking. Taking one client at a time also enables me to provide top notch care, attention and lots of love (and playtime too!) I always allow dogs to eat their meals with the family in the kitchen and hang around the main part of the house. I also have a big yard I can let them run in, and a neighborhood for walks. For cat clients I have a setup in the finished basement (I call it the Kitty Club Room) with several litter boxes that I scoop daily and a couple of feeding areas. All of my furry friends are welcome to the main part of the house once they acclimate. Business hours: Pet Drop Off: 8am-2pm (any day) Pet Pick Up: 8am-6pm (any day) Thank you for considering me for your dog and cat sitting needs! I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently switching to working 2 part time jobs 7 days a week to only working 1 of those jobs maybe 2-3 days a week so I'm looking to fill my time with taking care of your furry best friends and probably working more at the horse farm too. My schedule for work is made at least a month in advance and I don't work weekends since I work for a dental office so I have some free time to do this now. Looking to walk your dog, drop in on your cats/dogs while you're away and maybe open to short overnight stays in your home if I can arrange for my own doggie to be taken care of because he gets really lonely and upset if I'm not home at night, otherwise I'd have it on my profile that I was available for that too. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

They will receive my full attention, whether that's playing, cuddling, etc. My friendly dogs can keep yours company, but I also have a separate room if they prefer to be alone or want breaks. My two cats are kept separately from dogs and visitors. In your home, I'll follow your instructions and routine. I can drop in for playtime, meals, walks, or overnight care. When house sitting, I am with your pets overnight and most of the day. I'll always keep things tidy and respect your privacy and belongings.
About: I am an Animal Behavior College certified dog trainer. My wife and I have over 15 years experience in dog boarding, daycare, walking and basic animal care. I work from home so I'll be here most of the day to care for your pet. There will be plenty of opportunities for you dog to go outside and play. I have a large fenced in yard for playing and daily activity. If your pet enjoys playing with other dogs I have two of my own who also enjoy playing.

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”
