“Susan watched our two Huskies for several doggie day care visits. She and her husband were so friendly and easy going, we immediately felt at ease leaving our furbabies with them. You can tell that they really enjoy having dogs around. Our dogs got walks, playtime, and we got plenty of pics/updates. I would highly recommend Susan. She will be one of our first choices when looking for care again.”

About: Hi! I’m Cassy, modern day Snow White who’d love to care for your fur babies! I’ve had family dogs my whole life. I got my “very own” dog for the first time when I was 15, and that sweet lady lived until I was 30. Taking care of her in her senior years was one of my greatest gifts. I have tons of experience training dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. Currently I own 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own, and also care for a feral cat colony in my neighborhood. I am very patient, caring and compassionate with animals, and which helps to deal with even the most difficult personality types. While here, we will maintain your animals current feeding, walking and play schedule, and give them all the love and attention they need. I work full time from home, and am only gone for a few hours on weekdays to do school carpool and errands. On the weekends we are generally home, with the exception of family dinner on Saturday evenings and church on Sunday mornings. I have a fenced in patio with grass, and also have an unfenced front yard where dogs can go potty on leash. All visitors will have their own kennel and will be kenneled for meal time, and any time I leave home to prevent safety concerns. There is constant supervision when animals are not kenneled. Walk times can vary during summer depending on summer temps to ensure paw safety, and if you have dog shoes we highly encourage you to bring them.

“Rachel was great and very communicative. Lucky loved his time there and we plan to use her again for our upcoming trips when Lucky isn’t joining us.”

“Pamela takes such good care of my miniature schnauzer puppy! She takes her on walks every morning and has a big backyard for the pups to play in. Pamela is dependable and reliable!”

“Madison and Austin took great care of our dog Blake when we needed to both be at work for the day. Blake can be anxious around new people, and they were attentive to that and made sure we brought some of Blake's things (pad/blanket, toys, treats) so that they could make him comfortable. Blake had a great day with them and settled in and Madison provided updates throughout the day to let us know how it was going. And of course the next time Blake saw Madison and Austin he was jumping up and shaking his body all over to greet his new friends. We appreciated how patient they were with Blake (and us) and highly recommend them to take care of your dog.”

About: I’ve always had 1-2 dogs at a time throughout my whole life. My friends and neighbors have described me as a responsible pet owner as I love walking my own dog multiple times a day, we might as well bring on a few friends! Sometimes our own dog tags along so if your dog loves car rides, that’s not an issue for us! We have a 7 seaters that can easily turn into a doggy joyride. We recently lost our big black dog in the photos so it’s only the white little dog now. I have a fenced patio with pet friendly fake grass for emergencies (if a dog is a little sick or night time potty break) that I clean daily, other than that I walk my dog around a safe neighborhood. On weekends we like to go on easy hikes to get that good exercise.

“We needed someone to watch our 7 year old German Shepherd during the day while I went off and played old man baseball. Kelly turned out to be perfect. Very flexible and didn’t require any of these meet and greets a number of Rover sitters want. Being from out of town that never works. She sent pictures and videos four the four days we used her. Can’t really say much more she seemed to like him and he came back a tired pup. Good Job!!!”

About: I love watching fur babies and have been doing so since last five years. I would love and care your pup as my own. I am stay at home person whom you can easily rely on taking care of your lovely pup when you are on vacation/work. Feel free to drop a message to reserve a time. Currently, I cannot accept if your pup is Pitbull/mix with Pitbull, Rottweiler, Dobermann. I can dedicate my time to take care of your pup at least for 2-3 hrs a day/night. I can pick up/ drop off if i am available at that time. I have a fenced backyard where your pup can play and enjoy some fresh air. Also, I will take your pup for walks for every 2-4 hrs and follow the diet as specified by the owner. Can only take care of friendly pups. In summer time, will make sure to take them for walks no longer than 15 minutes once in the morning and in the late evening.

“I felt super comfortable leaving Topo with Krystal. She was super welcoming and understanding that he can, at times, be a bit timid and defensive. He came back to me in a great mood!”

“Kristy was very nice and accepted my request for day care at a moment's notice. My puppy was well cared for by her whole family. You can see they are all animal lovers.”

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs from big to small since I was in high school! I have always had a good relationship with dogs and they always seem to love spending time with me! I like to keep the pups company and comfortable as much as I can especially since I work from home! I currently work from home so they would fit just fine into my daily routine! I’m often home just about all day and would love nothing more than to spend time with a fur baby! I like to keep a good eye on pets while allowing them to explore and get comfortable with their surroundings. Although I don’t have a fenced in yard, I will always leash your pet when taking them to go potty!

About: I've grown up with many pets throughout the years. Even as a young child, I had 5 dogs all at once! And many more pets aside from that over the years! I've worked with birds, dogs from all ages, and cats of all ages! I do not work or go to school, so I am home 24/7 to care for pets! I also live with my boyfriend who works 2am-the morning, so he is also home most of the day and night to care for pets. I have a balcony and several huge grass areas for dogs to run and play. I also have a separate second bedroom setup with cat furniture and accessories.

About: Hey there, my name is Estefany. I am a full time student at GCU. My schedule revolves a lot around school but I love checking on pets during my free time! I can take short notice requests as early as same day visits as long as I don’t have much going on! When it comes to boarding pets I try to do mostly pets that are crate trained so they are safe at times that I’m not home. Your pet’s safety is my upmost priority! I have worked with many animals and many different personalities. Currently, I offer drop in visits and walks with no meet and greets required. I am not currently offering house sitting because I don’t think I have the free time your parents deserve when they have someone caring for them at their house!

“Kimberly was a lifesaver. She responded to my request within minutes and was able to come to the track meet location and PICKED UP my fur babies to watch over them while I went in to watch my son compete. She was professional, caring, and made sure to send me updates and pictures throughout the day to ease my mind. After driving 6.5 hours to Phoenix and despite the minor set back at the entrance with the meet crew not allowing us in with the puppies, thanks to Kimberly, I was able to enjoy the track meet and support my son without worrying about my puppies. She went above and beyond to make sure my fur babies was well taken care of and I am so grateful for her help. In the end, my son did great in his competition and I was able to celebrate his success without any worries. Kimberly truly saved the day and we couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter. She was a true hero in our time of need. Not only did Kimberly save the day by taking care of my puppies but I also got to enjoy some free time at IKEA after the track meet. It's always nice to have a little bit of relaxation and shopping time after a busy day. Thank you, Kimberly!”

About: I’ve been a dog trainer for 11 years, six years full-time and five years part-time on Rover. Teaching obedience isn’t always easy, but it’s one of the most rewarding things anyone can do. I love helping dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships through training. I have the flexibility to work remotely, which means I can devote quality time to your pup during the day while working diligently in the quiet of the night. Late nights are especially helpful for house training young pups and reinforcing their outdoor potty routine between 1-4 a.m. Spending time with animals is truly the highlight of my day. I enjoy taking your furry friends on walks, playing fetch, and making sure they feel happy and engaged. Keeping a watchful eye on their every move, both indoors and outdoors, is a key part of my pet-care approach, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort at all times. Working remotely has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to spend quality time with my furry friends throughout the day. One of the biggest benefits of this setup is the flexibility to take quick breaks for playtime, whether it’s a game of fetch, a refreshing walk, or just some extra belly rubs. This balance ensures that pets get the attention, exercise, and care they need while I stay productive. As a compassionate pet caregiver, I understand that consistency and routine are key to keeping pets comfortable, especially those with separation anxiety. By closely following each pet’s regular schedule and their owner’s instructions, I provide personalized care that meets their unique needs. Whether a pet thrives on extra exercise, playful interaction, or quiet time, I ensure they feel safe and at ease by maintaining a familiar and secure environment. At the same time, I remain adaptable, adjusting routines when needed to give pets the best possible care. My top priority is creating a stress-free, comfortable experience for every furry friend. Through attentive, compassionate, and personalized care, I strive to mirror their home routine, offering a sense of stability and trust while their owners are away.

About: I did not grow up with any pets, but my experience has rooted from having multiple different roommates with pets of their own, needing additional care when their parent was not home! Additionally, my primary care experience comes from caring for children in both a professional (school, social work) and personal (home) settings. Alongside the human childcare, I’ve been able to broaden my knowledge and understanding of caring for the family pets, as well! In my time with caring for pets, I’ve been responsibilities for walking, feeding, bathing, and taking those most needed bathroom breaks! I’ve also had experience with both cats and dogs! I work remotely out of my home in Tempe or at my boyfriend’s home in Phoenix (near Papago Park), and have flexibility in my schedule for midday drop-ins, overnight stays, and other flexible pet care. It is of the utmost importance to me to ensure your pet’s safety and well being are protected! I will tend to each of their individual needs whether physical or emotional. I will make sure that I listen to owner instructions. Most importantly, I will love your pets, as if they were my own! :)

Tejaswini K.
“I couldn't be happier with the dog boarding experience for my poodle, Nala! From start to finish, Tejaswini was absolutely amazing. provided timely updates with pictures and videos of her daily walks and playtime, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Always responsive and clear. What truly stood out was how gentle and caring she was with Nala. She can be a bit shy at first, but made her feel comfortable right away. Also, took special care of her dietary needs, ensuring she avoided anything with chicken due to her allergy. It was such a relief knowing she was in safe hands. Tejaswini was incredibly accommodating, letting her snuggle on the furniture and even allowing her to sleep in the same room, just like she does at home. That extra level of care made all the difference! I could tell she had a blast because they were so playful and engaging with her—she came home happy and well cared for! If you're looking for a place that truly loves and understands dogs, this is it. Highly recommend!”

Alegre Community dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alyssa is such a sweetheart and has been such a lifesaver for me and my Sophie, one year old Shepherd mix. I moved to a new area and was starting a new job, and at the last minute was told I had to come into the office for the day. I reached out to many Rover Pet Sitter’s and decided to go with Alyssa as initially, she was super easy to work with and very communicative, and once we got to know her her and her boys, and her 2 dogs, they were all wonderful with Sophie. I will definitely be booking with her again and recommend her for anyone out there looking for a great Pet Sitter. Thanks again, Alyssa.! 🙏💕

Karli was incredibly kind and attentive with both me and my pup. My dog had a wonderful time playing with her dog, and I really appreciated the frequent updates and photos she sent throughout the day. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pup was in such caring hands!

Our dog can be a little anxious with new people and in particular leaving the house with them, and Krystal was very kind and patient with Blake and he had a good walk and a good day with her. He was very excited when we saw her the next time and she was again very good with Blake. We won't hesitate to contact her again about spending some time with Blake.

Madison and Austin took great care of our dog Blake when we needed to both be at work for the day. We appreciated how patient they were with Blake (and us) and highly recommend them to take care of your dog.

So happy Basil had a good time. I appreciate the flexibility with booking and being able to pick him up early. The videos and pictures were great and super happy for the care you gave him! Thank you again for everything, if we are in town again I will reach out to rebook!

Nina was absolutely amazing with taking care of our dog while we were visiting Phoenix. Simba was very stressed out with travelling and the heat and hadnt eaten in over a day, Nina was very attentive and did an amazing job at comforting him that he even ended up having his dinner! Nina was great at sending pictures and giving us updates during Simbas stay. I highly recommend Nina to anyone who needs their little one well taken care of. Nina has an amazing energy to her that will instantly gravitate your pet! I wish she lived local in my city so I could use her services more often!

Hannah and her husband are incredibly kind and caring, taking excellent care of our pup. They regularly share updates and photos, which is such a thoughtful touch. Their home is not only clean and comfortable but also very dog-friendly. A bonus is the shaded backyard, which is perfect for dogs!
