When caring for your dog in your home, safety and respect for your space are my top priorities. I strictly follow your specific instructions, maintaining your pup's established feeding, walking, and crate routines to keep their anxiety low. I am incredibly mindful of home security—making sure doors and gates are always locked—and I will keep you updated with plenty of photos so you know both your dog and your home are in excellent hands.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up in a house full of animals—at one point, we had three dogs, two cats, two bunnies, and even a chinchilla! I’ve always felt deeply connected to animals and understand the unique personalities and needs that come with each one. I currently volunteer with the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group, and in the past, I’ve volunteered at North Shore Animal League and the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, where I worked with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. These experiences have helped me learn to read animal behavior, approach with patience and kindness, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Though I’m now a bunny mom, I miss being around dogs—which is why I’m on Rover! Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, or just a little extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I do have a full-time job and mainly do this as a hobby because I genuinely love being around animals! That said, my work schedule is flexible, so I can definitely be available on an as-needed basis to help care for your pet. If you’re able to give me a little advance notice, I can usually move things around to make it work. While I don’t offer pet care in my own home due to having rabbits, I’m more than happy to come to your home and care for your pet there! While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’ve spent most of my life helping care for the pets of friends and neighbors. I have always had cats and grew up with a dog, and I have adopted formerly feral cats as well as orphaned kittens and puppies, and I have fostered special needs animals. I lived on a small farm starting from the age of 5, so I have experience with various types of animals and love them all. I have taken care of puppies and kittens as well as older pets. I've always been told that I'm great with animals and wanted to go into animal care from a young age. I started my own petsitting business in 2023 and have loved getting to know so many different animals. I recently moved to New York and am excited to get know even more pets here! I have plenty of time during the day to spend time with your animals and give them all the care they need. I have open availability most days. I always want my clients to have peace of mind while they're away and treat all pets like they're my own. About: CPDT-KA since 2021, Positive Reinforcement dog trainer since 2019. I’ve had rescue dogs since I was 13. Between experiences with my own rescue dogs, working and volunteering in animal shelters, being lead supervisor at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, pet photography, and several years in the pet retail industry, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and experiences. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. I can easily crate dogs if need be, and can give medication to even the pickiest of eaters. I have no issues with getting dogs leashed, including getting them into harnesses or head-halters.

About: I am a teacher. I love to walk and will enjoy exercising with your pet and keeping them healthy and strong. We will treat them like parts of the family. As a teacher, I have lots of time to play,walk, and spend time with your dog. I know that dogs are like parts of the family. I have a fenced in yard where you doggie can play freely under my supervision. My neighbor has sidewalks where your pet can take long walks.

About: I have my own golden retriever that I care for and have lived and cared for a golden doodle while in college for 3 years. I make sure dogs are well taken care of on walks and have enough enrichment time. I am currently available full time to walk dogs/do drop in services. I am also available for last minute requests such as walking or drop in services. I have a very friendly golden retriever that can accompany your dog on walks or for play dates during drop in visits only if requested. If not requested than I will walk your dog alone and come for drop in visits alone.
