About: Some would say i’m a pet whisperer because of my influence on dogs. I love to care for other dogs as if they were my own. I had two of my fur babies pass the rainbow bridge both living up to about 12 years. Mia is my 4 year old Shih tzu Bichon mix and despite her being a handful I wouldn’t have it any other way. I work full time so i usually take my dog for an hour or so walk after work and on the weekends. I try my best to squeeze in a walk in the morning but I’m more of a night owl. I have a maintained fenced yard for the fur babies to run around should they need! With plenty of toys to go around as well.

About: Hiya! I’m Bea, a college student with years of hands on experience caring for both dogs and cats. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’ve spent most of my life helping care for the pets of friends and neighbors. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m usually the person everyone asks to watch their pets when they’re away! What sets me apart is the amount of care and attention I give every animal. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and cautious, I’m patient and let them adjust at their own pace. I’m experienced with: - Puppies and kittens - Senior dogs and cats - Large and small dog breeds - Multi pet households - Administering medications (including pills and eye drops) - Feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, cleaning litter boxes and/or pee pads, and playtime - Basic training, including recall and simple commands One of the puppies I currently care for has been with me since she was about 2-3 months old. We’ve worked on recall and basic tricks together, and I love helping young dogs build confidence while making learning fun. During teething, I noticed she had stopped eating her dry food, so after discussing it with her owner, I recommended switching to a softer option and monitored her closely afterward to make sure she adjusted well. I also have experience with senior cats, including caring for an 18 year old cat with vision and mobility changes. I understand that every stage of life comes with different needs, and I’m happy to adapt my care accordingly. When we’re out on walks, I always bring waste bags and water, and I make safety my top priority. At home, I enjoy keeping pets engaged with play, enrichment, cuddles (if they want them!), and plenty of attention. I’m also more than happy to send frequent photo and video updates, because I know how comforting it is to see your pet happy while you’re away. I’m a bit of a neat freak, so you’ll never have to worry about coming home to a mess. I’m happy to clean up after pets and even help with little household tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants if needed. My goal is simple: I want every pet to feel loved, safe, and cared for as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! As a college student taking one class each weekday morning during the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. Outside of class, I’m available for walks, drop in visits, daycare, and house sitting. I believe every pet deserves individual attention, so I make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, affection, and mental enrichment while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I like to spend the first little while getting to know your pet’s personality and comfort level so I can adjust my care to their individual needs. Every animal is different, and I believe they deserve care that’s personalized rather than having a “one size fits all” ideology. I also take the time to learn each pet’s routine and any special instructions before providing care. During walks, I always bring waste bags and water, pay close attention to my surroundings, and make sure your pet is secure at all times. In your home, I’ll respect your space, keep everything clean, and follow your care instructions closely. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy and safe.
About: CPDT-KA since 2021, Positive Reinforcement dog trainer since 2019. I’ve had rescue dogs since I was 13. Between experiences with my own rescue dogs, working and volunteering in animal shelters, being lead supervisor at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, pet photography, and several years in the pet retail industry, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and experiences. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. I can easily crate dogs if need be, and can give medication to even the pickiest of eaters. I have no issues with getting dogs leashed, including getting them into harnesses or head-halters.
About: I have had over 7 years of experience taking care of my own dogs, as well as dog-sitting/walking for family and friends, so I decided to take my skills and passion for dogs to Rover. I have also recently fostered and trained a one year old (and 80 pound untrained) foster puppy at college this past year! I am such an attentive, responsive, and caring dog lover and will always adapt to owners’ requests! This summer I will be freshly graduated from college, waiting to start my full time job in August, so my schedule is completely free and I am available to take care of your pups round the clock!!! I have a couple weekend trips planned here and there but my summer schedule is otherwise wide open! I am super respectful of the property and privacy of other’s I have dog and cat set for numerous friends and family before and will always leave your space cleaner than I left it! As someone who has hired and used dog-sitters in the past, I understand how much trust it takes to allow someone else to take care of your precious pup, so I will be sure to keep a constant line of communication about how your dog is doing whether it’s just me letting them out to go to the bathroom or a full dog-sitting stay!
About: I love all animals and treasure every opportunity I get to care for them. I am very dependable and hold their needs highly dedicating my self to keeping pets happy and secure. I am mostly open to walking and sitting pets in the early morning, afternoon and evenings during the weekdays. I'm also flexible on the weekends for onboarding and overnights. I am always on call so the owner feels secure. I make sure that pets have the right space for their needs and feel comfortable. Lastly, I make sure to always have the pets under my watch and that they are just as happy and healthy as they came if not more.
“Alexis was amazing with our new puppy who is still learning how to walk, not jump, etc. She was always patient and willing to be flexible if our pup wouldn’t walk, playing with him in the yard instead. She is reliable and on time. We highly recommend Alexis!”

I am also available for last minute requests such as walking or drop in services. About: Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for—even when you’re away. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family. I share my home with my sweet 6-year-old Cavapoo and my gentle 10-year-old Scottish Fold cat, so I know firsthand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. Before joining Rover, I worked at Dogtopia, where I cared for groups of up to 20 dogs at a time. That experience taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize body language, manage dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and ensure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and happy. When I was younger, I babysat and walked dogs for relatives and neighbors. I also know that leaving your pet can be stressful for you, too. That’s why I make communication a priority. You’ll receive regular photo updates, videos, and text messages so you can see your pet enjoying their day and have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. When I care for your pet, my goal is simple: I want them to feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as they do when they’re with you. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra helping hand. I am currently on summer break from college. From September 2026, I will be available to work at any time on Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturday and Sunday. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll tailor every visit to their unique personality and routine. I believe every pet deserves individual attention, patience, and lots of affection. That is how I am with my dog Flash and my beautiful cat, Princess Leia. Honestly, no request is too much, my dog and cat both are very particular in their ways.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
