Our dogs are quite reactive to people and other dogs which made us anxious to leave them in the first place. Abigail was more than understanding and accommodating of the schedules we have in place to prevent tense situations in our neighborhood. “Schuyler was an absolute life-saver. The first day of our vacation my mother fell and broke her hip and I was extremely stressed and spent my entire vacation in a hospital in Charleston, SC. Schuyler continued to check on me daily and sent pictures and updates about Crosby and Murphy. She managed my house, checked my mail, and made sure everything was running smoothly at home so I could focus on my mother and her care. About: Student Affairs professional for OHIO and love all furry animals. I had an amazing Norwegian Elkhound Mix and 2 cats. Now I have 9 month lab mix and 1 cat. Both very friendly and good with everyone. I'm very patient, optimistic, and kind. I have experience with pups & senior dogs. I'm comfortable administering medication, including injections and promise to love your pet unconditionally while they are in my care. Depending on the needs of your pets they'll enjoy at least one walk a day, potentially a hike, and get plenty of attention throughout their stay with me. Before rescuing my current dog, I trained two Great Pyrenees from 6 months to 3 years for a friend. I'm comfortable with all dogs and cats and hope I can help provide care for you soon! During the school year I work from home 2 days a weeks and in the summer 3 days! This gives me plenty of flexibility to check on your pets as needed. Additionally, I have the flexibility to check during my lunch break if needed when I'm in the office. I have a fenced in backyard and will gate off sections of our home until we know the dog is comfortable in our home and with our dog & cat. We block off the stairs to keep them on the ground floor with us.

I’m also a dog owner myself, so I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive. I stay active, love spending time outdoors, and always make sure pets get the exercise, love, and attention they deserve. Whether it's sticking to a feeding routine, giving medications, or just making sure your dog gets plenty of playtime, I’ve got it covered! I’m currently working part time but I’m very flexible. I can do early mornings, late nights, overnights, etc. if you need me, I’m there to take care of your pet! When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would my own. I make sure your pet sticks to their usual routine, gets lots of attention, and feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how your pet is doing while you're away.
