“Jacob did an amazing job with our two dogs and home. He came out and met them the night before on short notice. He was a lifesaver and we will be calling him again! Our dogs can be choosy and they hit it off with Jacob right away. Great Experience!”

“Timothy was awesome with my sweet boy Dozer! He did everything as instructed including medication administration and followed his special diet. We will be booking with Timothy again in the near future. He even sent photos!”

About: I bring over 6 years of pet sitting experience, along with a year of hands-on service dog training. This background has given me strong skills in structure, positive reinforcement, and confidently working with dogs of all temperaments. I’m comfortable reinforcing training for puppies, providing mental stimulation for high-energy dogs, and offering patient, attentive care for seniors who may need a slower pace or extra support. Safety, consistency, and clear communication are always my priorities. In addition to training service dog pups, I’ve trained my own dogs using cues in different languages, strengthening my understanding of how dogs learn and respond to clear, consistent guidance. I don’t just “watch” pets — I actively engage with them. Whether it’s structured walks, playtime, or reinforcing good manners, I make sure your pet feels secure, stimulated, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I can accommodate weekday and weekend bookings and will communicate clearly about any scheduling changes in advance. Every pet deserves patience, consistency, and a safe space while their family is away. I’m attentive, reliable, and committed to providing loving care while maintaining clear communication and a secure home environment.
“Nessa was fantastic! She house sat and cat sat for me while I was on vacation. She was attentive and very communicative. She made sure to send pictures while I was away. I will definitely rebook with her!”

About: Growing up in a suburb of Columbus, I started house-sitting, pet-sitting, and babysitting for my family and neighbors at 12 years old. Over the years, I've been trusted with the pets of loved ones and strangers alike. I am comfortable with dogs, cats, and exotics. If you have young pets, I am also happy to reinforce their training. As a fourth-year Biology student at Ohio University, I am taking one in-person class T/TH. The rest of my time is spent collecting data and writing my thesis, so I have a ton of flexibility with my schedule! M-F I can be at your home after 5:00 PM, but I can also arrange drop-ins before then. I live in a small apartment, so unfortunately I cannot board any animals. However, I'm more than happy to pet-sit at your home! I love detailed instructions and will update you with pictures throughout the day. The safety of your pets and home are my #1 priority.
“Audrey was excellent. Both our dogs and cat were well-cared for; our house looked great upon our return. She communicated regularly, reassured us that out pets were doing well and were well looked after while we were away.”

“Elaina was a great dog watcher. My dogs loved her and it was obvious they felt comfortable with her. She provided a ton of photos and updates about our animals. She even went above and beyond as my pest control had to come by the house and she was willing to coordinate with me for them! I’d definitely use her again!”

“Stefania was great. She watched Theo for a week. We live out in the country and it was when there was a really, really bad snowstorm and she was able to make it work. She even came back an extra time on the last day because I was running later than I thought I was going to.”

“Shelby was awesome for our dog Dewey. She kept us constantly informed and asked questions whenever she was concerned about him or needed clarification. We'll definitely be using her again and would recommend her to a friend!”
About: Constantly taking the time to do my research on different breeds and how they differentiate from another. I love to understand animal behaviors and know proper training techniques to help your pup be the best they can always be. I will always put your pets needs before anything else, and ensure they have a fun time in my care! Learning your pets routine is always at the top of my list. I have trained anything from puppies to senior dogs. I have plenty of experience with administering pet medications to animals if they have a daily medicine or they are temporarily on something for any condition they may have. They will always have a pawsitive experience in my care 🐕🦺💫 Daily I care for my own pets and have the opportunity to bring my pups to work occasionally to meet and greet with people. Owning 5 cats and 2 dogs myself makes me the best fit to care and be trusted with your animals as well! I have so much love and care to give and being around animals and learning how to handle a variety of behaviors has always been such a passion for me, and one day I would love to see myself go back to school to be a vet! I do not currently offer care for other peoples pets in my own home, but it is something I would like to work towards eventually. In your home, I follow your pets routine and find out their likes and dislikes. I will keep them engaged in play, keep their water always clean and fresh all the while learning how unique your pets personality is! Walking your pet, I will always carry cold fresh water with me and a clean bowl, as well as treats and bags to clean up their poop if they go while we walk. If your pup struggles with walking on a leash properly, I am more than willing to help train them to not pull while we walk and reward them with high value treats when they do good! My love for animals and proper care of all pets is constantly shown in my daily life and grows every day!

“Laura helped us out last minute and took such good care of our little Oliver! She even stayed some extra time when we made an error with our booking. We will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life, which ended up as me taking care of the dog. And I have also taken care of my neighbors dog multiple times. I recently have got three baby guinea pigs with my boyfriend! I’m currently a full-time student at Ohio university with my Monday, Wednesday Fridays free! I only have one morning class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so my care would be flexible I always try to keep an eye on my dog when he is outside just for safety purposes and in case the fences ever unlocked or anything goes wrong that I’m there to witness it. I’d always make sure to keep an eye on anything. I also always ensure that my pigs have a completely safe cage.
About: I love all pets of all shapes and forms! I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, and I adjust my care to match. I’m a graduate student looking for ways to make some money! I am available to stop by any day of the week after 3pm, and on weekend. We can communicate about more possibilities! Whether your pet is high energy or more shy, I take the time to learn their routine, favorite activities, schedules, and any special instructions so they feel safe and loved.

“Wendy was great. She snatched up an impossible to cover NYE dog sit in our home last minute. She was great at communicating and we came home and our pup seemed tired from being exercised and cared for.”

About: Student Affairs professional for OHIO and love all furry animals. I had an amazing Norwegian Elkhound Mix and 2 cats. Now I have 9 month lab mix and 1 cat. Both very friendly and good with everyone. I'm very patient, optimistic, and kind. I have experience with pups & senior dogs. I'm comfortable administering medication, including injections and promise to love your pet unconditionally while they are in my care. Depending on the needs of your pets they'll enjoy at least one walk a day, potentially a hike, and get plenty of attention throughout their stay with me. Before rescuing my current dog, I trained two Great Pyrenees from 6 months to 3 years for a friend. I'm comfortable with all dogs and cats and hope I can help provide care for you soon! During the school year I work from home 2 days a weeks and in the summer 3 days! This gives me plenty of flexibility to check on your pets as needed. Additionally, I have the flexibility to check during my lunch break if needed when I'm in the office. I have a fenced in backyard and will gate off sections of our home until we know the dog is comfortable in our home and with our dog & cat. We block off the stairs to keep them on the ground floor with us.

The Plains pet parents share their Rover experiences
Stefania was great. She watched Theo for a week. We live out in the country and it was when there was a really, really bad snowstorm and she was able to make it work. She even came back an extra time on the last day because I was running later than I thought I was going to.

Jane did an amazing job watching our three pets! During the meet and greet, she was so knowledgeable and asked great questions. While she was watching our pets, we got a bunch of positive updates and could tell that she definitely took the time to get to know our fur babies. We felt confident and assured that she would do a great job, and she surpassed our expectations. She also took great care of our home. We definitely recommend her!

Moki was well and lovingly cared for in my home. Maryrose kept me updated daily with pictures of their daily trail runs and walks. Maryrose’s has a special connection with animals that put Moki at ease right away. I will continue the trail runs as Moki is more energized and feeling like a pup again! I would highly recommend her.

Jacob was amazing and we felt comfortable knowing our babies were safe and being cared for. He was super quick to reply to my messages checking in and he sent me pics and thorough updates daily. I have an older dog who is diabetic and blind and jacob was great with him giving him his insulin shots with no issues. We also had a newly adopted dog and Jacob was comfortable taking care of a dog that we were still getting to know.

Gillian was great. She’s trustworthy and prompt. Unfortunately we have an extremely skittish dog who just doesn’t warm up to everyone and that made it impossible for Gillian to complete the job. Not her fault whatsoever. I would recommend her for “normal” pets.
