About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 10 years, I own an animal rescue, but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss haveing dogs around all day. I am home 90% of the time so I am there to let dogs out who might not be potty trained or sometimes it is just for company, laying on the couch watching TV and getting rubbed. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam. I also have Mr Donovan, 110 pound hound mix that lost his 2 playmates in the last 2 months, so he would love having anotherfriend to hang/ play with.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for over 25 years. Since I've retired, I wanted the opportunity to watch dogs on a more regular basis. I love dogs.. They say, a happy wife is a happy life.. In the same vain.. A happy dog is a happy household. My dogs are my family. Any dogs I am entrusted to take care of will be treated as an extension of my family. They would be loved and given free reign of the house. My first priority is the welfare of any dog I am taking care of. While you are away, you will be sent daily updates about your pet. I will follow your instructions as to the care of your dog. Your dog will be well cared for.. My priority is the welfare of your pet. I look forward to hearing from you. I'm retired so my schedule is flexible. Dogs are welcome to stay for a day or any extended period of time. All breeds are welcome. I have a fenced in back yard and care for all dogs as if they were a member of my family. I abide by any specific instructions the owners have.

About: I became a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind right around 2000. It was a great program to help me stay in tune. My favorite take away - your emotions travel through the leash. It reminded me to stay focused on my 4-legged guy when we walked especially. I stayed a sitter for the non-profit even when I wasn't raising. I currently work FT - most days remote. My routine with my own was a morning walk to the entrance of the neighborhood (15-20 min). Mid-morning and mid-afternoon of just the street (~10 min). And a longer after dinner walk (~30 min.). And a night-night walk before turning in. I am currently without a furbaby, so yours would be my focus. I have a gated back deck we could hang on nice days. Leash walks throughout the day.

About: We got our first pup in 2011. All 3 dogs we’ve owned have been since they were puppies. We’ve taken care of pups who require shots and pills. We treat pups in our house like family members. My husband and I have off weekends. My husband works from home so dogs get let out frequently. I’m a high school teacher so I also have summers off. We’re happy to follow your routines so they feel at home. I have 2 friendly dogs who love kids & pups. We just ask that your pup is friendly with kids and dogs, and is comfortable being crated for short periods of time, if needed.
