She's slow to warm up to new people, but surprisingly, she immediately took to LaToya! This literally has never happened, so I knew right away that it was a match made in heaven! LaToya was incredibly responsive, shared pics daily and provided updates about our little one's adjustment process and her week. Leaving our dog with LaToya felt like leaving her with family. About: When I was a child we had three family cats. We also had a pregnant cat that showed up that we took in and cared for the babies. I now have a 1 year old Sphynx. He thinks he's one of the dogs. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I have never left my 11 year old pup with anyone besides friends or family so I was quite nervous about leaving him for a week for his first time. After meeting Yvonne and Joe and seeing their home, I was not just put at ease, but actually excited for Bentley to spend time there. Yvonne sent me multiple updates a day which was really nice to know he was doing well throughout the day. I feel so good to have found a safe place for Bentley where he enjoys himself. He came home completely normal, happy, healthy, and stress free!”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”
“It’s always nerve racking trying to find a new sitter when the old one falls through but Chyann was great! Addressed all concerns and kept great communication while we were away. Best of all our husky didn’t come back home with bad habits which happens a lot. 10/10, I definitely recommend”
