Her house is very spacious and her backyard is huge, with a lot of empty spaces for dogs to run around--that was perfect for our dog who is full of energy and loves to run around. Our dog stayed with Patricia for about one week. When I picked our dog up from Patricia's place, our dog was in very good spirits and showed a lot of affection towards Patricia, which must be because of the great care of Patricia. Patricia also packed everything neatly, which made the pick up very quick. The per-day fee was very reasonable as well. Overall, we are very happy and will use Patricia again.”

“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and currently have one of my own! I am also a teacher, so I have plenty of experience providing a safe and caring environment! I am available Monday, Friday, or Saturday at anytime! On Sundays, I can be there anytime after 2. Wednesdays I can do anytime between 1:30 and 3:30 and Thursdays I can do anytime between 11 and 2! About: I had cats growing up, but I’d say my real journey as a cat person began 4 years ago when I adopted my tuxedo cat, Tyson. He was 3 years old when we adopted him, but he adjusted quickly! I like to make sure everything is up to his standards like the litter box, his food bowls, and his mug he likes to drink out of instead of the water bowl I got him. 2 years ago, we adopted our “gray guy”, Miso, as a kitten. He’s a bundle of energy and is always playing. Quite a difference from his older brother! To this day Miso’s still a bundle of energy and we try to play with him every day. I might be rambling on, I could talk about my boys all day, but I want to communicate to you that I love cats and I’ll be happy to care for yours!
“Jen is absolutely the BEST petsitter you will ever experience. My cat is very high maintenance with her attitude and her massive hair (forest cat). Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. In my younger years, I regularly house-sat and walked dogs for coworkers and friends, helping them feel at ease while they were away. Life got busy with marriage and raising a family, but now that my kids are more independent, I have the time and flexibility to do something I truly enjoy again—spending time with animals and providing loving care when their owners can’t be there. My family and I have four friendly, sweet dogs and some chickens of our own, so I truly understand how much pets mean to a family. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets. I’ll treat your pets like family—giving them attention, love, and care while keeping you updated for peace of mind. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply making sure they’re happy and safe while you’re away, I’m here to help. I work part-time as a nurse, and caring for others—whether people or animals—is truly what I love to do. My nursing schedule gives me several days off during the week and some weekends open for pet care. My availability can vary, but I’ll always keep my calendar updated so you can easily see when I’m free. Just reach out—I’d love to help whenever I can and treat your pets with the same care and kindness I give my patients and my own family. I have a fully fenced-in yard where your dog can safely play and socialize with my four fur babies, making sure they get plenty of fun and exercise. If needed, I can also crate your dog if you supply the crate in a comfortable and secure space. I’m attentive and responsible, prioritizing your pet’s safety and comfort at all times. While I am most available for dog walking, letting dogs out, and spending quality time with them, I’m happy to tailor care to your pet’s needs. You can trust me to provide a loving and safe environment, following your instructions closely and keeping you updated.

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. “Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”

About: Ive had cats and dogs since a very young age I currently have 4 dogs and three cats. I have many years of experience and love them all! I am currently a student at University of Delaware and I thought maybe this job would work for my class schedule. I have a lot of free time outside of class. I have 3 cats, a boarder collie, australian shepherd, and a west highland terrier. They are all very good animals most of my animals live at home except for one of my cats that lives with me at school, but I’ve taken care of all these animals from almost all my life.
