About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. I am home 90% of the time, so I am there to let dogs out who might not be potty trained or sometimes we just lay on the couch watching TV and getting rubbed. I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam. I also have Mr Donovan, 110 pound hound mix that lost his 2 playmates in the last 2 months, so he would love having another friend to hang/ play with.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

About: We brought home our 1st puppy when our eldest daughter was 8 weeks old. Everything since then has been easy! Currently have an 8yr old Golden Retriever with a fenced in backyard. Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years. I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while. We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. About: We have been a dog family for the past 11.5 years! We love our dogs so much! We have an 11 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and a 2 year old Aussiedoodle. They are sweet and fun and love other dogs! We have 4 kiddos as well who love caring for the dogs including our 12 and 11 year old girls who love taking the dogs for walks! We are a homeschooling family so we are home most of the time and don't kennel our dogs at all while we are home! We have a huge fenced-in backyard that the dogs love to roam and run around in!
