She's slow to warm up to new people, but surprisingly, she immediately took to LaToya! This literally has never happened, so I knew right away that it was a match made in heaven! LaToya was incredibly responsive, shared pics daily and provided updates about our little one's adjustment process and her week. Leaving our dog with LaToya felt like leaving her with family. About: I have grown up with pets since I was a baby. I have always had large dogs, such as rottweilers and pitbulls, and as an adult I have owned small dogs and cats as I live in an apartment. My sister is a vet technician, so I have some secondhand knowledge on medical care for animals of all types. I am currently unemployed so I am available any time, any day for care. I have my own transportation so traveling to your home for your pet is no problem at all. I always make sure any animals I adopt get along and have no tension before I leave them alone. If I feel any animals cannot be left unsupervised, I keep them in a secure location, such as a large kennel or a room with a closed door whenever I need to leave. I always make sure to monitor their eating habits and adjust their diets accordingly. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. “The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
