About: I am very versatile. Adaptable. I have always tended to lean toward older dogs and have had older dogs up to age of 18. I have an absolute love of all animals. I work 2 days a week Wed and Friday. Friday is an 8 hour day in Ankeny. I am available after 445 on Fridays. I love all living creatures but I am allergic to cats. I have owned dogs, my last one passed away last year. I am a nurse and am very comfortable giving meds, injections and recognizing illness in dogs. I have done all of these things with past pets and dog sits. It would have to be in clients home. My current living situation does not allow for sitting in my home. I have had many animals in my care, both domestic and exotic. It is incredibly important to me that your pet feels safe, so I always let them guide our interactions. I pay close attention to body language and context clues to ensure their boundaries are upheld. I love to provide photo updates with each visit, and a brief description of how they are doing. All dogs will stay leashed outdoors unless in a secure and private fenced in yard. All cats will stay indoors unless harness trained or you have a catio. Safety first!

I work from home, so I’m home all the time to watch after your fur baby. Your dog will get daily walks, treats, and affection. I have a fenced in yard, 3 lovely fur babies, and I can guarantee you almost every single toy in pet smart, I own😂 Your pet will be in a smoke and drink free home, we do have birds but they are caged together in their room, and do not get let out. My house, will now be your pet’s new temporary house until whenever you decide to come back! Getting to spend time with your pet, and keep mine company, is a delightful idea.

About: I’ve always taken care of cats because I’ve had one my whole life and now my roommate has some. I’ve also helped with my friend’s dog when needed.
