About: I started in the veterinary field at the age of 15 as a kennel technician and cross trained in the clinic as a veterinary assistant. I then went to school for animal/veterinary science and graduated with valuable skills and education. After school I went into zookeeping where i cared for a variety of taxa including but not limited to carnivores and hoofed animals. After leaving the field and changing careers, I became a foster home for Oh My Dog Rescue based in the Des Moines IA area. As a Retail Manager my schedule is not consistent however I guarantee that I will check on your animals a minimum of twice per day unless otherwise agreed upon. I do best house/petsitting for clients who leave detailed instructions and emergency contacts. I bring structure and high quality care to the table in every home I enter.

“Jessica was great! We were out of town 4 nights, and then our flight got delayed and she was able to adjust her schedule to stay a 5th night to take care of our dog. She sent photos and updates at least twice a day and I felt better knowing I had someone here at our house to care for our dog (instead of boarding him). Our dog has some anxiety and allergy issues and she took care of all his meds and gave him lots of love and cuddles. About: My whole life I have been surrounded by Dogs. From taking care of my own and my Grandmother's furry companions, I love being with Dogs of all sizes and energy levels. From Dogs who bounce off the walls, to those who would rather take a nap, I am up for any Dog personality. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as young ones. I am able to give medication to your furry friends, if they need it. I am available days and nights throughout the summer. I am also flexible to provide daily potty breaks for your dogs. I am able to stay overnight to keep your best friends safe! I'm used to having dogs in my bed, so they will always have someone to sleep with at night. If you have any questions please reach out. I would like to be given instructions on how the owners usually care for their pets. I don't want to disturb their feeding schedules. I also like to know how their pets like to play and what they're personality is like.
