Having cared for our own French Bulldog with IVDD, I understand the importance of paying close attention to a dog's individual needs and comfort level. I'll always make sure your pet has fresh water, receives plenty of attention and affection, and gets the exercise that's appropriate for them. I'll also treat your home with care by locking doors, respecting your property, and leaving everything just as I found it. Communication is important to me, so I'll send updates and photos during each visit to let you know how your dog is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, happy, and in caring, dependable hands while you're away.
About: I had my own dog for 15 years and spend lots of time training him, walking him, and learning to care for him on a daily basis. We got him when he was very young and he loved to an old age for a lab, so I have experience with both young and old dogs. I don’t currently have any pets as I am a college student, but I have experience caring for pets in the past. I can follow instructions easily and am very responsible when it comes to caring for animals. I make sure to keep the environment calm and peaceful as I know some animals can get scared when around unfamiliar people or in an unfamiliar place. I love to pet animals and show them affection, but also give them their own space when it is needed. I love to play with more energetic animals and take them for walks/runs, but for more sedentary animals I make it a priority to let them chill and keep an eye on them in case any needs arise.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have over 7 years of hands-on pet care experience. Growing up with dogs taught me how to understand their different personalities and needs. I also have a Shih Tzu of my own, so I know how important it is to provide pets with love, patience, and a safe environment. In addition, I’ve cared for my sister’s dogs, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and making sure they feel comfortable while she’s away. I have a friendly Shih Tzu of my own, and I always make sure introductions are done safely and only if everyone is comfortable. While I don’t have professional dog-walking experience, I’ve cared for family dogs for many years and am comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of attention. About: I’ve been a cat enthusiast since birth, and always had a few family dogs. Growing up as a kid my family did a lot of pet sitting for friends, family,and neighbors. About: Just hopping back on here after a couple years and am ready to get back to it for any of your pet care needs. I’ve taken care of many different types of animals growing up on a farm. I have two australian shepherd and two cats myself all of which i’ve raised and trained from babies. I’m currently staying at home so I have a very flexible schedule for drop in visits and all your pet sitting needs.
