About: I grew up with pets in my home since I was a child, it was always a mixture of dogs and cats! I love taking goofy pictures of them! I‘m currently going to school, but I‘m free most of the time! I have summers completely off so just let me know what you need! I have the most experience with bigger dogs and cats, but I love all animals! I can handle pets with a lot of energy as well. I‘m very organized and can handle a lot of instructions, like if your pet needs medicine or special food!

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be available from 3 pm-8 pm. If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I currently own a cat, Higgins, who is a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I've been in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He's also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving him a pill. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

About: I’m reducing my current job schedule to part time as a mental health therapist in order to engage in my passions. With this in mind, I would love to direct my empathy, patience, and connection towards any animal(s). I currently own 3 cats and would want nothing but the best for them if I were to be away and so I will use this as my guide when keeping care of your pets. I have been around animals most of my life and have taken care of dogs, and cats primarily for family, friends, and strangers throughout my career experience. This is my first time on an app so please feel free to ask any other questions as it is welcomed! I live by treating others the way you want to be treated, so if I am at someone else’s home, I will be respectful on the space and property. About: I have had pets my whole life. My first cat grew up with me. My parents got him while I was in Preschool. I have many fond memories of him, and used to help with his care whenever I could. I have house/dog sat for neighbors while I was growing up. I have experience raising a Pitbull, he was an awesome brindle coated sweetheart. He was my roommate's dog but I loved him as I would my own. I also raised a Shiba Inu, she was amazing. So beautiful, and loyal. She was my best friend for 14 wonderful years. Anyone who knows that breed knows that they can be especially challenging, but we got along great. I volunteer at Cascades Humane Society in Jackson. I love going there in my free time to walk dogs, cuddle or play with cats or just try to help with anything I can. Currently my close family (parents and siblings) have six dogs and six cats combined between all of us. I am also the Dogfather to some of them, and they would come to me if anything happened. Right now I have a 13 year old rescue cat named Daisy. She gets special food from the vet, and regular pills. She also gets lots of love and lap time. I also have a Norwegian Buhund puppy. He is super friendly and outgoing. I have walked dogs of all sizes and personalities. From Huskys that want to go, go, go! to lazy little dogs just want to sniff and stroll. With our own fur baby. We have a regimented feeding schedule with our cat. Breaking up her can of food into many smaller meals throughout the day to help her with her conditions. Our dog gets multiple daily walks and lots of attention as he is still just a pup and prone to “tasting” things he shouldn’t. We’re doing lots of redirection. I spent years as a maintenance man for a property management company. I also spent years as an appliance repair man. Respecting people, their homes, and furry friends is nothing new to me. I have been trying to absorb as much information about animal behavior as possible and do my best to communicate with animals in a way they understand. Giving your dog a friendly greeting is very different from how most people greet them. Some need some time and an indirect approach. Walking straight toward a dog head on is instinctually considered quite rude in canine interactions. Cats also have their own language and way of doing things. I try hard to always respect that.

About: I grew up in a 6 cat household at one point, so I have the most experience working with cats, however I've cared for many family members dogs while they are away, such as my sister's very active 5 year old, blue heeler mix (Sora) that she has had since 2021. I am comfortable caring for, feeding, playing, and walking small to medium dogs. My schedule is pretty flexible and open at the moment as I am studying to take a board certified exam and applying to future positions within my field. I can assist in early mornings, midday or in the evenings. Unfortunately since I have two cats at home, I am unable to board other animals at our location. I am flexible and adaptive to caring for your pets in your home for drop in visits, depending on their discussed needs.

I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts (typically on or near holidays), homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.

About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: My family always had dogs and cats while I was growing up. I sorted the pictures of the dogs I have known the longest to the shortest, with a photo of me at The Hemingway House in Key West FLA petting a cat. First is my childhood dog named Fezz who passed away in 2020. Second is my brothers beagle, Jack. Next is an old friend’s tan Pitbull named Louise. Then there is my dad’s white puppy named Piggie. The next photos are my friend Andy’s dogs. Two Bully Breeds. The white one is Biggie and the grey one is Gianna. I have watched them a few times and I walk them together. Biggie is a rescue and is considered a high risk dog. He has bit 10+ people, but he loves me so much and is very comfortable around me. I wouldn’t say I’m a dog whisperer, but I certainly have a way with dogs. I have watched my brother’s beagle as well a few times. When I lived in CO (about a decade ago) I watched a German Shepherd and an Alaskan Malamute. They were a handful and hard to walk together as they were both pretty big and strong, but I was still able to do it. I work remote doing life and health insurance, so I’m just looking for a side job to supplement my income until I build my book of business up. I could watch them at my house as I have a huge fenced in yard, but I would rather meet the animal at home where it’s most comfortable for them. When I watch Andy’s dogs, I watch them at his house.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was at least 15 and they have been dogs of many different breeds. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and stay with their pets. Pet care fits into my daily schedule by allowing the given time the family needs for me open and to be able to work with that schedule if given one. For the pets in my home, I put him on a leash to go outside, he normally barks but for my grandparents, I will always make the dog go outside when I feel like they need to go or every so hours. Now for client's homes, I will do whatever they normally do for their pets.

About: I’ve never not had a dog in my life. Currently I have a turtle, 2 dogs and I watch my bosses dog all the time. I’ve always been good at taking care of animals and sensing their emotions and things they may need. I have a zoom class Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 6. I work Thursday - Friday but I can work visits or walks in between shifts. I’m very familiar with all different types of needs for your animal(s). I’ve crate trained dogs my whole life, I’m very experience in walking dogs, I walk strong pit bulls on a daily basis so any size I can handle.

About: I've always had a dog since I was little and recently started to volunteer at the lenawee humane society. I've watched over my family's and friends pets while in vacation or out of town as well. I work at a library about 3 days a week and would like to find time for other part time jobs. I kove animals and think that this would be a good time filler for me. I live in the country and have a big yard for dogs to rumn around and play.my yard isn't fenced in but I do have a long lead for them if they would like to stay out for longer. But I do have a crate if your dog is crate trained. I have lots of toys and dog food if needed.
