About: I’ve taken care of pets for my co-workers and friends for the past several years while they traveled out of town for an extended amount of time. I make sure to check-in every day, feed them, and make sure they get enough attention. I am raising money for marathons I have signed up for over the next year. I’m preparing to run the Marine Corps Marathon and aim to run the Boston Marathon. I usually work evenings from 3-11pm Wednesdays through Sundays and I will have time to take care of your pet in the mornings before I get ready for work. When I am in charge of your pet, I make sure sure they have the food the need to remain healthy, give them a walk when they need it, and provide them with enough attention.

About: My family had many pets growing up. I enjoy making connections with pets by showing patience, lovings, empathy, prioritize safety and of course have respect for the owners. I’m an educator home for the summer eager to keep busy with animals!! Most of the time, I’ll be able to tweak my routine to accommodate services. I would treat every pet the way I treat my own pet. Spoiled! I truly enjoy being attentive to their needs and especially their WANTS.

About: I have had pets ever since I can remember. Growing up, I had dogs, but I have also had birds, a bunny, hamsters, a snake, and many fish so animals have always been a part of my life. I pet sit frequently for friends, family, and neighbors when they are away. I, myself, have one dog (Mr. Beans - border collie/chocolate lab mix) and one cat (Moose - maine coon mix) at home. I work full time in childcare. I typically work Monday - Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm. Just send me a message and I’m sure we can work something out! I have a fenced in back yard that my dog enjoys running around and playing in. While pet sitting at your house, I will follow any rules that you have for your pets to make sure they have a stress free environment and stick to their routine.

“Brien took my request to housesit my 2 dogs at the last minute when my previous boarder cancelled. He took great care of my babies & was fantastic with communication & pictures while I was away. Additionally, he was very accommodating when my cleaners came while he was there. I'd definitely hire Brien again!”

Pet care is part of my daily routine, including walks, playtime, and attention to each dog’s needs. I am experienced in safely administering medication when needed. I ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I create a safe, calm, and clean environment in both my home and clients’. I follow all instructions carefully to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for.

“Taylor was absolutely wonderful with our 3 month old puppy! We didn’t worry for one second knowing she was in such great hands. We appreciated Taylors check ins and photo updates :) I would recommend/we would love to have Taylor back in a heartbeat! Our pup misses her already!”

About: I have been walking and dog sitting since I was 14 years old. I love all kinds of dogs, big and small! There isn’t a time I won’t stop and ask someone if I can pet their dog while walking past on the street. Over the past 6 years I have done frequent dog sitting within each dog’s home. I love getting to stay where the dog is already comfortable and they are able to stay within a familiar environment! I absolutely love getting to know each and every dog’s personality and matching their energy. Whether it is a super active hyper pup, or a chill and laid back older pup, I have worked with many different personalities and needs and I will meet them where they need me to be! I am physically able to keep up with high energy dogs, you name it I can keep up with it. Connecting with a dog is one of the greatest feelings and I have developed a bond with each dog that I have cared for and love them as if they are my own! I am currently working part-time for this upcoming school year while searching for a full-time teaching role for next year. The 2025-2026 school year I will be substituting when needed as well as working an aftercare program from 2-6pm. If scheduled to care for a dog in your home or taking them for a walk I can devote my time to them during the day and can be flexible with my substituting schedule! If I am caring for your pet they will be my first priority and I can work things out around their schedule. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priority! I will follow their usual routine as provided and ensure that they are feeling cared for and safe. I will spend quality time playing, cuddling, or simply being present with your pet to help reduce any stress of you being away from them. I will take your dog for their usual walks and follow any specific instructions regarding your pets limitations or needs/energy level/desired walking distance. Follow specific feeding instructions as well as refreshing water when needed. I love to send updates and photos of the pet if the owner would like that! I also make it a point to monitor the pet closely to recognize any changes in behavior or ability, and get in touch with the appropriate contact immediately. If staying at your home I can also bring in mail/water plants/follow other home instructions if desired!

Addison pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time using Rover. I’ve always had family, friends or neighbors able to watch my two cats. Two of the of the ones who were available the most moved and I just needed to find someone I could rely on and where I didn’t need to stress about the care. I scoured Rover and the reviews and ended up meeting with Patricia for a meet and greet before I decided to follow through with this. ( it wasn’t easy at all!) Patricia was punctual, professional at ease with both cats and comfortable with some of the needs of my boy cat. I decided to give it a go as it was only one overnight 24 hr trip. She texted with adorable pictures and updates throughout which I really appreciated. She followed every one of my instructions and truly left my home as I left it (actually better, she emptied the garbage and stripped the linens off the bed) I’m really glad I took the plunge and went with Patricia. I would absolutely recommend and have her again.
