Very thankful for Beth's flexibility! She was able to watch my dog at her house (for the second time) when I had to go on a quick work trip with only a few days notice. She also sent me pictures of my dog to let me know that my dog was having fun!

I’m so happy we found a new dogsitter through Rover. Deb is a perfect fit for our 4 year old Cavapoo. Deb has a very warm, friendly demeanor, and has vast experience with dogs, both as an owner and a service dog trainer. Her golden doodle was a nice companion for our dog over his stay. I highly recommend using Deb as a trusted dogsitter.

Brenda was amazing. She sent lots of pictures and updates. I like that she only takes care of one dog at a time. She took our dog on lots of walks because he is so hyper and we appreciate that because we take him on a few walks every day. First rover I plan on using again.

Jo-Ellen is an outstanding Rover host!! She really went above and beyond to make sure Zoom was comfortable given this was only his second rover stay. I'm grateful for the A+ communication and attention given to Zoom. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic and lots of grassy lawns. Definitely will be leaving Zoom with Jo-Ellen during future travels!

Amber is everything you could hope for in a pet sitter! It was clear that Amber and family treated Milo like he was one of their own during the five days he stayed with them. She understood that he needed a day to settle in, and was patient and attentive to his needs. We received daily photos and could see how happy Milo was. We are so grateful to have found Amber and look forward to booking her again soon (and Milo will be so happy too)!

About: I grew up around dogs and understand the love, attention, and exercise they need to be happy and healthy. I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy everything from casual neighborhood walks to longer adventures. When caring for your dog, I’ll treat them like one of my own—providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which allows me to provide dog walking services in the evenings and on weekends. Most weekends I am available, especially with a little advance notice to plan ahead. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that fits both their needs and mine. Growing up with dogs and having a love for the outdoors, I enjoy spending time walking and caring for pets, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Having grown up with dogs and spent years caring for them, I understand their body language and can recognize when they’re tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need a break. I will treat your dog as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs—so you can feel confident knowing they’re in caring and capable hands.

Mollie was awesome! We had a wedding to attend a few hours away and we needed her help to watch our dog while we were gone. She gave us updates on our dog and even stayed up late so that we could pick him up that night. We would definitely ask Mollie for help again the next time we need someone to watch him.

As a pet parent, there is no greater feeling than knowing your pet is being loved and cared for in your absence. I enjoyed my vacation so much more just knowing Sunny was getting lots of TLC from Kristin and Jeremy.

We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life from German Shepherds to our little cavachon. Since my kids are getting older and don’t need as much help, I have time to take care of your precious pets when you need it! I’m here to take care of everyone! My day is full of making sure every person and every pet has what they need! Walking, sleeping, eating, drinking, and mess making-someone has to take care of it all! I have a good sized yard and a nice wooded park with walking paths nearby for daily walks and outside time. Our home is clean and comfortable with big kids coming and going who love animals like I do!

Had a meet and greet with Betsy for our corgi, Maggie ,last Thursday. Today Maggie spent 4 hours with Betsy. Betsy was excellent with her and their home and environment is dog friendly. Betsy has also been very responsive to any texts or requests that I have sent to her. We have arranged for Maggie to have a sleep-over in July!

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I am currently taking care of my mom who has dementia 24/7 and I am home with her all day. The only days I'm out the house is when my mom or myself have a doctor's appointment. The time I have during the day, I can do dog walks and drop by to feed and let your dog out to your yard. I currently have a chiwawa mix dog name Romeo and he is fed, taken out for walks and sleeps on my sofa everyday. He is encouraged to play, fetch and have treats as rewards. He is shown love everyday and has all his shots and vet visits up to date.

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

94% of Adamstown sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Adamstown landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Adamstown home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Adamstown.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Adamstown sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
