About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.
About: I grew up with 3 dachshunds and pet sat for many years during college. I've also had 2 cats during college that have since passed away. I've worked a summer on a goat farm, fed chickens, and watched pet doves. I have a good presence with animals and people. I am a freelancer and am at home for the majority of the day. I can bring your dog with me to the park and running errands. Sometimes I'm out on client meetings here and there, but am always close to home. We are at the Vespr apartment building which are a dogs haven. Minutes from the lake for morning walks, with a built in doggy spa and run for evening potty breaks. I am extremely protective of my fur baby and thus picky when it comes to who I trust him with! I was so relieved when I found Jeremy this summer before starting back to teaching. I have peace of mind now because I know Jeremy is giving my dog Teddy great care and attention. Jeremy is a kind, thoughtful and positive person and also professional. Teddy is a smart dog who needs stimulation and he gets access to a bunch of toys which he picks through and chooses from! He also gets good work outs on his walks. He comes home tired and happy! I highly recommend Paula for your dog care needs. As a registered nurse and neurotic dog mom, I’m very particular about who I will leave my dogs with. Both my babies have allergies with special food for each, need sunscreen and have behavioral quirks as they are brothers from the same litter. Paula has been great with me and my dogs- something I cannot say about every dog sitter on Rover. With my unpredictable schedule she has been very understanding of cancellations and time changes.
