About: I’ve taken care of my fur baby, Sparky for 5 years as he aged from a youthful dog to requiring senior care. Caring for him as a senior helped me develop skills of patience and diligence as he was in need of more attention. No matter the age of your baby, you can trust that they will be in good hands as I watch over them with the same amount of love and care as if they were my own. During this summer season, pet care fits very well into my weekly routine. Since I am a current college student on summer break, I have plenty of time to have fun with pets, walking or playing with them on weekdays and Saturdays from 11am to 8pm. When dog walking, I have a portable dog water bottle on hand if water is ever needed. When visiting pets, I will take time to walk them and play with any available toys or I can even bring my own.

About: I used to raise a pug of my own since he was born. He lived until ten and half years old and passed away in 2023 due to hemangiosarcoma. He had it growing slowly over time for few years until the end. There is not much treatments to it which was frustrating and heartbreaking. But he had lived his best life and actually lived his life to the fullest with his silly, wild, and stubborn personalty along with his three legs. He will always be my half and in my heart forever. I am sorely missing him forever. He had been taken care of with plenty of food, love, attention and toys! He met so many people, other dogs including cats! He traveled to many places because he loved to explore! His favorite thing to do is sniff every plant in the nature and mark on them! He is fond over stuffed toys. I take him to vet regularly as necessary to keep tracking on his good health. I also has a lot of experiences with medium to large size dogs before such as black lab, German sheperd, and pit bull. I believe that dogs should be treated as family members with care/love and they are so much alike us emotionally. After all, I am a crazy animal lover and love the compassion/company from furkids. I have plenty of treats and toys for your loved furkid to play with! I love to walk the dogs through the nature trail, too. You are more than welcome to contact me about my dog/cat sitting service! Available almost 24/7. I currently work four overnight shifts a week, but I do sleep five to 8 hours and often woke up to do errands around the house to take care of everything. So, I am mostly available at all times for anything except sleep hours. I tend to sleep at 8am to 2pm or 3pm, but after I woke up, I always check to feed, refill fresh water, and take the pets to restroom and check around the house. My place is near to some parks with long trails which is great for dogs who enjoy the walk! My place have a large space in the neat wooden floor basement (first floor) which will be a great play pen! The basement have the light windows and doors to the backyard! We also have large living room with big couch which our pets love to jump around and play! As for cats, I have a large bedroom which is quiet with door locked at all times. I often access to my bedroom everyday. My cat is currently loving his cozy life in my bedroom with everything of what he have including his own famous cat tree!

About: I have had pets my entire life. Recently dropped from working full time to part time and would love to fill time off with dog love. Currently own s Frenchie-Boston mix who is 4 years old. Started this venture because my children asked to and it has been a great experience. Currently working a variable part time schedule. Have a dog of my own and a fully fenced yard. Plenty of time to walk and play. Fully fenced yard. Able to crate. Have taken dog training classes. Ability to work with large, strong breeds. Currently have an active, dog friendly dog at home.

About: I have always had pets growing up and I also have pet sitted for my neighbors, friends, and family members since I was young and able. I am a full time registered nurse and would love to see if drop in visits work on my days off or even right after work! I always make sure they are fed, have water, and have gone to the bathroom. I look forward to going on walks and being outside with animals too. I prioritize spending time with pets especially with their owners being gone, so I am always looking forward to hanging out with them.

About: I’ve been caring for/living with dogs since my teens! Always joke with my friends (who agree) saying that I was probably a dog in every life but this one! Your family member is in good hands with me 😊 I work mostly early hours at my full time job, and am available most late afternoons. Pet care is not just work for me, I love animals. Caring for your family member is not just a job, but a genuine passion. *I am able to house/pet sit overnight on Fridays beginning at 5pm. Unfortunately the calendar won’t allow me to adjust individual hours during the day.* I live close to trails and parks in Fairfax! No pets allowed in my apartment currently. But I can care for your pet in your home or follow instructions on what you’d like to do!

About: Love going for walks, we also have a large enough yard with a long chain for outside exercise and play. Offering walks, drop in visits and pet boarding. Plenty of space to run and stretch those legs! No cats in the home or nearby. I do have a child who would be pushed in a stroller along our walks and LOVES dogs. Gets so excited when he sees them and pets them. Would like to know potty and feeding schedules beforehand and how they interact with other animals, cats, other dogs, other people walking on sidewalk that we may run into. Cant wait to walk or take care of your furry friend!!! Cant wait to meet you! I work from home so your furry friend would only ever be alone for 1-2 hours max daily if I need to run any errands. I have two friendly small dogs, upon meeting are very excited to meet our new friends but after a few minutes everyone is calmed down. I can crate dogs if need be. I have baby gates where I can also separate if needed.

About: hello! I am currently a college student, looking for ways to pay off stinky loans. I chose Rover because not only will it be fun but I’ll be able to meet so many furry friends as well! Luckily, I live with my sister off campus in Brockport and she also has great experience with dogs. I have personal experience with taking care of pets that are as small as a tea cup chihuahua to as big as a half breed massive pitbull and Rottweiler. I also raised my own dog for two years(pomapoo). It was the best experience Ive had. My sister and I pay mind to different breeds and the personalities that come with them, but we do not care to any bad stereotypes that were stamped on them. This means, as long as your pet is open to new friends, we will gladly care to them with open arms. During this holiday break, our availability is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Right now, I am currently living in Brockport. I am a student here, taking 4 classes. My availability ranges throughout the week, and Im almost always free on the weekends. I live off campus with my sister and being so far from family, we will both be super excited to have a furry friend with us temporarily. She and I have multiple years of experience caring for dogs. My neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. There is not many owners here with a dog. Though, if you have a membership to dog parks, there is one 5 minutes away from my house, where I will gladly take them for daily exercise. The Erie Canal is also around the corner, which is a great place to go on walks!

About: Hi! My name is Sydney and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Being a pet mom started when I adopted my first guinea pigs at 8 years old. In the years since, I have had dogs, cats, small mammals and birds. I currently have 3 Australian Shepherds (all rescues) at home who are all 3 years old. One of them is blind (due to inappropriate breeding) and requires extra care and attention. I am new on the Rover scene, but not new to pets. Previously, I have been a pet sitter, volunteer for an animal shelter, and a foster home for rabbits through Lollypop Farm. I treat all animals as if they are my own and believe that pets should always be given the best care and attention. I also work part-time for a local pet sitting company, where I am honing in on my pet expertise regularly! I am comfortable giving meds (both pills and liquid via syringe), walking all breeds of dogs, and providing specialized care to pets with special needs and older pets. I am also comfortable with small animals, birds, and cats! I am currently available to provide pet care on the weekends.
