With a reputation for reliability, excellent communication skills, and a deep sense of responsibility, I’m here to ensure that your pets receive the care and attention they deserve. Over that time I have worked with a lot of different pets and I assure you I can handle it all! If they’re big or small, high energy or low, timid or confident, old or young, I’ve seen it all. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they’ll be treated as if they were my own. I believe in open and transparent communication, so you’ll receive regular updates on your pets well-being while you’re away. Whether it’s ensuring they get their medications, exercise, or cuddle time, I’m committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. Whatever requests you need or want me to accommodate please don’t hesitate to ask!

“Amelia did such a great job. We have been out of town for a while and both our parents are too old to walk our dog. Amelia was able to let herself into our house and get our puppy ready for her walk. It was so awesome to be able to trust her to take care of our baby. Thanks so much Amelia!”

About: I’m 28 years old and a lifelong animal lover with years of experience on Rover. Growing up, my mom rescued animals, which gave me hands-on experience caring for all kinds of pets. Over the years, I’ve worked for Wag, fostered animals, and shared my home with some amazing furry friends—including my late cat, Kenny, and my sweet Shih Tzu, Bella. Now, I have Darcy, my adorable pup, and I can’t wait to welcome your pets into my home! I know that every pet is unique, so if you’d like to discuss custom rates or specific needs, feel free to message me! I’m happy to adjust as long as it’s reasonable. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members! Got it! Here’s a concise, 25+ word response for Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and providing companionship throughout the day. When I go to a clients home I basically fill in as the role of mom and dad, keeping to the fur baby’s schedule the the best of my ability! Depending on the dogs personality it looks a lot like a conversation you’d have with a toddler for the most part haha! just a lot of me going “oh my gosh hi!! what’s up? what do you need?” lmao

About: I live with four cats, each with their own unique personality—and I care for every pet I meet the same way: as an individual with their own needs, preferences, and quirks. I’ve also had several dogs in my life who’ve been my closest companions, and I bring that same deep sense of connection to every animal I care for. By day, I design enrichment tools that support instinctual behavior and emotional well-being, so whether it’s a cat who needs calm presence or a dog who thrives on routine and affection, your pet will be seen, respected, and gently supported while you’re away. I work from home and my availability is very flexible. I love early morning walks, midday check-ins, and some evening play time - whatever works for you and your pet! My focus is always on creating a sense of safety, calm, and trust for your pet. At home, I honor their routines and body language, offering companionship and gentle enrichment without disrupting their sense of place. In unfamiliar environments, I stay grounded and attuned—minimizing stress, adjusting to their comfort level, and always moving at their pace. I’m thoughtful about creating positive, low-pressure experiences that help them feel secure. To me, safety is more than supervision—it’s a feeling. One built through trust, consistency, and deep respect.

“Astrid took great care of my pups and helped them be secure and happy while I was out of town. When I’m in town and she walks them, I can tell by the way they greet her what a big treat it is for them to spend time with her. I appreciate Astrid’s sensitivity and creativity and skill in interacting with my two dogs who are quite different from one another in energy level so that they both get their needs met for activity and exercise and affection.”

About: We specialize in medium to extra large dogs here on the farm. From puppies to hospice aged canines, we have the experience and welcome all breeds. Our farm specializes in retirement horses, so we take pet care responsibilities seriously. We are home most of the day, but do have on-call local transport appointments that may take us away from the house for a few hours. We have a fully fenced 9 acre farm. We go for romps with the dogs in the pastures not being used by the horses. Dogs are family to us, yet they are dogs.
