“When Holly came to deliver the key, my little dog Joanie knew the sound of their vehicle, and was very excited and happy to see her! Joanie is never happy to see anyone, except me when I come home. You cannot get a better reference than that:)”

“Bridgit was awesome! She communicated with me every time there was an issue. She sent me photos every day which made me feel my babies were in good hands! I will definitely keep her in mind from now on when we have to leave for vacation. Thank you so much Bridgit you were the best!”

“Kimberly was great help for our two cats. Our cat sitter plans fell through the last moment before we had to take a trip and she was able to jump right in and save the day. She followed all of our instructions and kept our cats company when they were lonely and missing us. She also went above and beyond to get our keys back to us when we came back as we needed them for the next day before we went to work. Definitely will consider her in the future.”

“Patrick is so amazing. I am very grateful for his help with taking care of my pup. He is so flexible and accommodating with scheduling. My dog absolutely loves him.”

About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than one week I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.

“Laura is the absolute best kitty sitter we could have ever dreamed of. She is so kind and loving with our three babies, and absolutely spoils them with cuddles, play time, and her genuine love for them. We receive colorful, detailed notes and lots of pictures so we can have the reassurance that our kitties are happy and so well cared for. They adore her as much as we do. Laura is the absolute best! 😻”

“Jana was an outstanding pet sitter for our 2 cats. She sent great photos every visit and you could see how well cared for they were by their happy eyes and forward whiskers! She was consistently on time and the litterboxes were spotless when we returned. It is great to be able to leave my pets in her loving heart and hands! I would most definitely book Jana again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have spent years caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors. I also have some light training experience. I’m a night owl but can be up early too, so I’m happy to take on late night or early morning pet care as needed. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of care needs. I’m calm, confident, and attentive with animals, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I'm a mature, patient, and responsible woman with an enthusiastic love for animals. I would be honored if you you'd allow me to put my years of responsibility and experience to use with your fur family! I have a very flexible schedule and a huge heart. Pets have given me so much for so little in exchange. I have all the time and energy for the doggos that need it! I have a two-story townhouse with a fenced-in yard. We have a dog run in our gated community and several parks close by for sniffing exploration.

“Sharon took care of my little gang (3dogs, 1cat & 1rabbit). They’re pretty easy to care for the most part, but my older dog is a senior with a lot of health issues & a lot of medications who requires special care. She was amazing & took such good care of then, including my old man <3 She came over a few days before to meet us/them & show her where everything was & she was so sweet & interested in making sure she understood everything & even brought treats for the furbabies. During our time out pf town, she would send pictures & updates of each visit. Being new to Albuquerque & not knowing many people, it’s great to have found her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter :)”

“Savannah did a wonderful job watching my cats this past weekend. She was willing to come to the house for a meet and greet the weekend prior and checked in with a Rover card and sweet photos of the cats during her drop-in. Would definitely recommend!”

Academy Estates East pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time using Rover and Blake made me feel comfortable right away. Blake was very professional and you could tell that they loved animals and truly cared about their well being. I received daily updates and pictures of my cuties as well as overall reassurance that all was going well while I was gone. Thanks Blake! I’ll definitely rebook in the future!

I contacted Olivia only a few days before I was in need of someone to take care of my beloved cat, Zayda. She responded right away, came to do a meet-and-greet that same evening, and right away I knew that I could trust her with my baby. After booking her initially for drop-in visits, I asked her if she'd be willing to adjust the booking to staying overnight instead because I worried about my cat being lonely and scared of fireworks. Olivia didn't hesitate a second - she understood my needs and completely accommodated the change on short notice. She sent photos twice a day and communicated well. I am very grateful to have found her.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful care Alexa took with my senior kitty. She was kind, responsible, communicative and definitely made my vacation worry free. It’s so wonderful to know you can go away and count on someone to be there for your furry family member.

Adrienne was an excellent sitter/walker for my hyperactive Brittany. He needs his walks in foothills daily and Adrienne was prompt with her arrivals and always provided a cute photo of my pup enjoying his walk. This really put me at ease for my first trip away from my dog. I would highly recommend Adrienne for your sitter/walker needs!

Heaven took excellent care of my cats. She sent entertaining and informative messages each day along with happy cat photos. My cats seemed disappointed that their vacation ended upon my return. I will definitely be asking for Heaven’s services again in the future.
