About: I've grown up with many types of pets throughout my entire life. I love animals and have been a volunteer at Northshore Humane Society since 2020, where I have experience walking, playing with, cleaning after, and even assisting in veterinary care with dogs. I especially love teaching new tricks and playing with them. I also have experience with reptiles and cats. I currently have a 9-year-old border collie and take him on walks and play with him for hours every day. He's a very active dog and I enjoy being active with him, as well as grooming him and interacting with him through any and all means. I love all dogs, but my favorite breed is the doberman! I also have a black cat named Breezepelt (named after my favorite book character), and a mexican black kingsnake named Asclepius! How I care for your pet depends on the specific needs and wants of the pet and what you as the owner would like. If I am house sitting, I am willing to play with, take outside, and walk with your pet as much as is desired. I have both leads and retractable leashes if you would like me to use my own. I am comfortable with crating if so desired. I will be keeping a constant eye on your pet and will ensure their safety to the upmost degree.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for 15 years, spent a year as a vet tech intern, and I’m a proud dog mom myself! I treat every pet like family and always make their comfort and safety my top priority. I’m happy to help keep your pet happy and cared for! When I’m in a client’s home, I always respect the space and leave it just as I found it. I clean up after the pets and make sure everything is in order before I head out. I keep my own home clean and pet friendly. I bring that same care and attention into every home I visit.

“Alexa has been everything we needed in a pet sitter! It was our first time away on an extended vacation, and my nerves and guilt were through the roof! It didn’t take long for me to see how much my cat adores Alexa and was doing perfectly fine without us. AND! We’ve received some of the best pictures of our cat that we’ve ever had! Thank you, Alexa! As long as you are available, we will always book you.”

About: I've been around and taken care of animals all my life; kittens to elderly cats and puppies to elderly dogs. As an 8th grader I alone trained, and house broke (W/O ever using a crate) our Dachshund puppy, Olive. As one of my summer jobs during high school, I looked after an elderly, deaf Jack Russell, and special needs cat (time dependent medication required, strict diet, etc.). After receiving my B.S. from OSU, I pursued a career that paired my field of study with my love for animals, and spent the next 6 years on the Media Relations team at PETA. So, taking care of animals is literally my work AND play :) I work parttime, generally late morning/mid-afternoon to early evening. I have generous availability and can be extremely flexible. I understand that it's not always possible to plan far ahead for a sitter, and how stressful that can be; I got you! :) I have a fenced in yard, and two lovely cat occupants. I take my two boys for monitored outdoor time in the morning and evening when I tend to our plants. I have three litter boxes across the house, as well as water dishes (one for every floor) so they are available to them at all times. I understand the importance of consistent routine (walks, potty, etc.), cleanliness of food/water dishes, and I pick up quickly on subtle signs from pets that signal "I need something from you".

About: I’ve taken care of animals in a professional setting for several years. I understand that our four-legged friends are a part of the family and that leaving them to someone you trust is important. I do work full time but I’m available most weekends and before and after work. (Before work would be early). I plan to have more time in the future. Caring for your pets in the comfort of their home is super important. Making sure they feel safe at home with someone else besides you is necessary for you to have a peace of mind and for them to have a good experience.

Brooke R.
“Brooke has been an animal lover since childhood and genuinely cares for pets as she would for children. Animals are naturally comfortable around her and she has been known to comfort and connect with the grumpiest of kitties and shyest of dogs. I’ve trusted Brooke pet-sitting for me on every occasion and know she will not only make sure my kitty has the food, water, and clean litter box she needs, but will be there to cuddle and play with her as well. This is coming from someone as picky and judgmental as my cat, Libby.”

Morgan F.

“Morgan was great! She took excellent care of my cat for a long holiday trip! 10/10”
